This is by far the best Uhaul dealer I have ever dealt with, having said that, the truck was not clean, grease and a small amount of trash in the loading area, and multiple pads that I rented were wet and not usable. I also question Uhaul strapping a two wheel dolly and pads in the back of the truck, I didn't need the dolly, but I had to break the seal and move it so I could load a king tempurpedic mattress. Trying to move the mattress around the dolly resulted in a ripped mattress box and grease on the mattress (back to the dirty loading area).

The lady I worked with at this location was very professional and was great to work with, however, uhaul's technical systems are terrible. My perfectly good credit card was declined 3 times at pickup before it finally went through. Employees at this store had obviously dealt with this many times before. When i attempted to do the online checkin, the same card was declined twice again. I am also not very happy with the self checkin. I got through the process of answering all of the questions and taking pictures when the website crashed and lost everything requiring me to re take pictures and re enter all of my answers. This was EXTREMELY frustrating on top of the fact that I am checking in YOUR trailer which your employees should already be paid to do by my rental fee. I am then expected to pay a $20 fee if I dont check it in myself. This is complete bullshit. There should be no extra fee for you to do your job. I should get a discount for doing it for you. The fact that i checked in your trailer 12 hours before it was due allows it to be available for someone else to rent sooner than it would be which means you get the opportunity to make more money. Where's my cut?

For frequent customers it would be very helpful, and more efficient if my drivers license could be stored so that it doesn’t have to be uploaded every time. This process is time consuming.

Super quick and easy drop-off experience... the lady who helped me (sorry, I don't remember her name!) was a joy to deal with. She was busy, but still provided excellent customer service (with a smile), and I was back on my way in a matter of minutes! 5 stars!

When I arrived to pick up the trailer, the attendant said my pickup location had changed. Fortunately the clerk at the store was able to get this changed with only a slight delay. After I started my trip, I decided I'd like to change my plans and instead of bringing the trailer back to Auburn, I wanted to drop it in Mobile. When I called customer service, I was told this change could not be made, even though there was a Uhaul dealership within 1/2 mile of my destination. Seemed like this should have been easy and I was willing to pay some additional fee. During the few days (from Friday until Sunday evening) that I was engaged with Uhaul, I had several text and email messages/calls. This was more of a bother than a help! Finally, after dropping the trailer back in Auburn on Sunday evening, I tried to follow the instructions for making the return. I could not access the site that kept asking for a password. I tried to set up a "new" account and see if it would let me create a password to no avail. Finally, I just left. Monday I get an email with my final invoice and $20 convenience fee for not following the proper return procedure!! I was not pleased and feel the system should not be so complicated, at least it was for me! Thankfully, when I replied with my my disagreement, a customer service person named Blake Cannon removed the extra charge and credited my charge card. All the attempts to "modernize" and do things electronically were of little help. Turned out fine at the end but you might want to evaluate the system and ask if all these texts/emails and calls provides better service or just creates more problems than they solve. To me, more attendants at the store, working face to face with the customer is more valuable. Just one man's opinion! Thank you, Randell Goodman

My truck was there, but the keys were not. I had to drive 15 minutes to the next city over to get a different truck. I was promised a $50.00 refund on the reservation fee that I have yet to receive. Every time I try to call about it I get transferred around or hung up on. Very unsatisfied!!!!
