I RESERVED A 15 FOOT TRUCK AND i NEEDED TO PICK IT UP AT 1PM CENTRAL TIME . I WAS TOLD TO CALL WHEN I WAS IN ROUTE AND I WOULD BE TOLD WHAT LOCATION WHEN I CALLED I WAS TOLD MY RESERVATION WAS CON FIRMED FOR 6PM TO WHICH I SAID NO WAY AND THIS CUSTOMER SERVICE REP ASKED IF I GOT A CALL FROM UHAUL WHICH I HAD NOT I THEN GOT A TEXT FROM UHAUL SAYING MY RESERVATION WAS CONFIRMED FOR 6PM SO CS SAID LET ME GET ANOTHER CS REP TO HELP THIS WOMAN WOULD NOT TELL ME HER NAME AND WAS RATHER RUDE AND TRIED TO EXPLAIN THAT UNTIL I RECEIVED A CALL OR TEXT MY RESERVATION WAS NOT CONFIRMED TO WHICH I SAID LET ME TALK TO SOMEONE ELSE I GOT ANOTHER CS WHO WAS GREAT . I BELIEVE HER NAME WAS TRISH ? NOT SURE . SHE DIRECTED ME TO THE OPELIKA LOCATION WHERE HUGH HELPED ME .HUGH WAS NICE, POLITE , PROFESSIONAL AND I WAS GIVEN A 17 FT. TRUCK AT THE SAME PRICE THE 15 WAS OTHER THAN THAT EVERYTHING WAS OK .HOW COULD YOU RESERVE A TRUCK AND 10 MINUTES BEFORE THEY ARE TO PICK IT UP YOU CALL AND TELL THE CUSTOMER IT WOULD BE 6PM INSTEAD OF 1PM

The vans are typically unwashed and unclean This last van was especially dirty , dried red mud , strong body odor smell very dirty on outside

Trailer lights were broken. When he said it was our hitch we knew it wasn't as we had just used it. He told us he didn't have time to figure it out and told us to leave it or drive it illegally. We fixed it ourselves. Turned out half of the lights on the trailer were out, it wasn't the car and he had installed it incorrectly, anyway. I went in to tell him we got it, and got "k" and no eye contact. When we brought it back, we asked where to put it as we had already done the check in. We asked if it should go in the return area or where we got it. We were told to wait and we did. Patiently. He waits on the people behind us in line and then has us park it in the spot we got it from anyway. I'm typically very patient and it is busy in there. But the attitude was unacceptable. I have never left anyone a bad review but I will never go back.

When I first pulled up a young black girl came out with an attitude on her face telling me I can't park there and that she would move the truck. She didn't acknowledge me at all. She was very disrespectful. Once I made it inside I was waiting for about 5-8 mins. A white guy enter and asked did the lady take care of what I needed. And he said it with an irritated tone. I tried to explain that I was returning a truck and that I needed to pay the $40 because I used it for an extra day. He was like ok you can leave you will receive an email and we will take it off the card and then just literally dismissed me. He cut me off and didn't give me time to respond back. Eventually I told him No I wanted to pay with cash and he kinda had a little attitude and we exchanged a few words after a comment I said to my sister when we was waiting inside. But he wasn't disrespectful he was more like irritated. While me and him was talking the lady worker was arguing back and forth with another customer because she asked him how didn't the equipment work out and he stated that it was horrible and needed to be fit and she got up set and was rude to him. I've only dropped a uhaul to the auburn store twice and every time there was always an problem with the workers stride. They should be trained more on their friendliness and how they speak to their customers. I'll never drop off at this store again or recommend anyone to pick up/drop off at this location I'm a 26 year old black female. Just stating my age and race so it wouldn't seem like I'm not showing racism to any fellow worker Thanks.

The self check in and check out process was simple enough, but did take a considerable amount of time. Exact photos and information was required that I wasn't expecting. I spent about 15-20 mins to get and return the truck. I also had very limited places to park when I returned and was worried I was in an incorrect spot. Finally, because everything was on the phone, the cell version of the final page with instructions of what to do with the keys was blocked by a request to do a feedback survey--so, I couldn't see where I needed to return my keys. I tried at least 10 times to zoom in or out, take the survey, back up, etc. to be able to see the instructions. I just had to use my best judgement on where to put them.

When I got there to check in your open so I went inside to handle everything and the girl told me why couldn't I just do it online and I couldn't get the online app to work at the time . So after her making me go on the app and try to get it to work she finally checked me in and got me the key then on top of that the truck that I had with the star very easily I kept having trouble with the starter . also the drop off should be in the front of the building on the side it's kind of dark back there and I feel on comfortable having to drop it off after hours

One person at this location for whatever reason. He was knowledgeable, patient, and did well under pressure (long line of customers). Wait time was about 40 minutes on two different visits on the same day. On Sunday, Sept. 3.

It was obviously a busy time of year given the sheer amount of people at this location the day we picked up the uhaul, however the amount of time it took to have trailer lights installed and the amount of time it took to get the trailer itself was ridiculous. We dropped off my truck to get the lights installed and they said it would be a couple of hours. No big deal they were slammed I get it. I also had it set up to pick up a tow dolly after the lights were installed. When I came back to pick up the tow dolly and pay for the lights a few hours later I thought everything was set to go and we would be able to leave in no time. Come to find out after I paid for the lights this was not the case. The man that checked me out asked what kid of truck I had and what I was pulling it with when I told him he said he didn't think my truck would be able to pull the car. I knew that was wrong because I had pulled the same car the same distance two weeks prior and double checked the compatability on the uhaul website. When I told him this he insisted he come out to look at the truck I said that's fine. He asked what kind of hitch it had I said bumper and he asked the towing capacity and when I told him he asked to see the owners manual. I pulled out the manual showed him the towing capacity and he continued to flip through for another 5-10 minutes. Finally he cleared us to go and instead of helping us hook the tow dolly up himself he had another employee who was helping other customers do it which made me feel sorry for the employee who helped us. Really didn't have much of a choice on which uhaul to use because this is the only one in this area that'll hook up trailer lights but my recommendation would be make sure you're not in a time crunch to get anything done because it's an all day affair to get one rented.
