Sales person was fine, however, when I asked for moving blankets he shared that they didn’t have enough blankets in the store and that he would bring them out. The in store display had many, many blankets in the plastic wraps. He got to the trailer before a placed the blankets in the trailer. He hooked up the trailer and I left. When I got to my destination (30 miles away) I opened the trailer to find the blankets partially folded, not in plastic and very dirty. I didn’t have time to run back to the store, but selected the least dirty blanks to wrap my furniture. It was very disappointing .

Everything was perfect! This was my first time renting and it was so easy! I thought it would have been a lot more than what it was. I was walked through everything it was quick and easy. I will definitely be doing my future rentals here.

Our experience was rather poor. Had a reservation for this location. That reservation was transferred to a different location on U-Haul's recommendation. Could not access the the U-Haul app or website in order to do a mobile pick-up at the new location. Finally got through to a U-Haul representative after about an hour who ended up putting our reservation back to the original location. When we arrived at that location, they were short-staffed, we could not even gain entry to the parking lot as returned vehicles were parked and blocking the entrance from the street. Waited about a half an hour there before we were finally serviced and able to pick up our rental vehicle. Had the vehicle for about 3 hours. That part of the process was very good.

When arrived I was told the paper copy of my DL was not good enough to rent. I needed to present the expired physical one too. I had shown a CC and a United States government issued id as well. So 3 proofs of identification. Website doesn’t say anything about paper DL NOT being valid. I definitely believe that because of the city that I rented from there was discrimination or bias to the U-Haul policies

We rented an enclosed trailer from this location for our interstate move. During the trip, the welded hinge on the trailer door completely snapped. Shortly afterward, the left wheel became dangerously loose and nearly came off the trailer. We were forced to stop and, by sheer luck, found another U-Haul dealer—Blystone Towing & Radiator in Portage, Wisconsin—about two miles from the highway. Yolanda at Blystone’s was exceptional and handled the emergency, reservation transfer, and trailer replacement. This was not a minor inconvenience; it was an extremely serious safety failure that could have caused us to lose control of the trailer and potentially result in a major accident, injury, or death. This equipment should never have been released to a customer in that condition. U-Haul needs to investigate this trailer’s maintenance and inspection history immediately. This location must perform thorough pre-rental inspections of all welds, hinges, wheels, bearings, lug nuts, and axle components before allowing equipment onto the road. We trusted U-Haul to provide safe, roadworthy equipment, and that trust was badly violated.

Very uncomfortable experience with both men helping me out. What I thought would have been an easy process turned out to be a lengthy one. Both men were talking over each other there was a lot of back and fourth about how things are done between both men. (Again very uncomfortable) I had to tell them more than once guys please can we just get this going I’m not trying to sit here listening I’m just trying to move in and out before you guys close. The Caucasian man kept talking poorly about the Hispanic man. And when I went to return the truck no one wanted to take the keys from me they kept sending me back and fourth and I told the Hispanic man look enough I just had abdominal surgery I can’t keep going back and fourth here are the keys and you both figure it out. I can’t keep going back and fourth until one of you guys figures out who will take care of my drop off.

Overall the experience was great and the manager Fave was very accommodating, just his customer service alone made this a 5 star experience. Also, the facility was maintained overall, but we did notice a dead rat on the floor during a few of our visits and the bathroom could have been kept clean a bit more often. I also wish the storage doors were floor to ceiling so that any pests that may be in the amhalls cannkt enter the lockers.

My wife and I had our storage unit for 7 ½ years, and it's been a great experience. The facility is always clean, and we never worried about our belongings. What really sets them apart is the staff. Communication and providing information accurately from the beginning with this location has been horrendous. Contacting the location in regards to storage unit and access to the facility hasn’t provided any customer and has completely made my moving experience beyond stressful. Provided feedback and concerns to customer service to contact GM of facility after customer service attempted several times to speak with GM no response and being told from customer service the GM will contact me. problems still exist, my moving is still pending and no updates on resolution, all due to u-haul not holding accountable parties accountable to the standards and policies that the company states it value

There were mixups when trying to pick up the truck. This mixup cost 2 hours of overtime cost for our movers. We went to the address for the truck pickup and told to go to another address. We had to buy extra Ubers to get to each site also

The floor of my storage unit was really dirty. There was some kind of oil stain and it just wasn’t a suitable place to keep a mattress that I intended to use again or really any of my other possessions, so I had to find a different storage facility. They also charge $10 extra per month to have access to your storage unit after 7pm, which was not disclosed when I initially reserved the unit. The staff was helpful and friendly, but everything else about my experience was pretty terrible.

It was easy to get my unit leased. The area was always clean and easy to access. My only challenge was that the unit was on the second floor with no elevator so everything had to be carried up the stairs.

The only reason I moved away from U-Haul and over to a public storage is because I do not like the short height rooms. Not once, but twice, I nearly knocked myself out of going in and out.

I thought it was great that U-Haul gave us a free month of storage because we rent a trailer with him with her move so it really helped us out. The manager at the facility was very helpful with answering my questions of what I needed to do in the checkout process.

This facility provided us with a very dangerous vehicle. No brakes and poor steering. I came 1700 miles to clear out my storage and placed in an unsafe vehicle
