I was informed , by Ashley Miller the GM, upon arrival shortly before 11am that the trailer hitch would be installed in approx 2 hours. Upon returning at ~ 1:15 pm another person at Uhaul told me it would be about another 30 min. Upon returning shortly before 2pm, the vehicle was still not completed. I asked why there was a delay per what the time frame was told to me initially ( I was the first customer of the day for this service), Ashley said that the install time frame was, and I quote , " at their discretion". Upon further questioning, she stated that it could be due to problems arising. I asked is that the issue with my vehicle, and she said no. Therefore I pressed further as to why it was taking nearly twice as long AS SHE INITIALLY STATED to me the customer. At this point she stated that she could stop the process immediately, bring the car out incomplete, and let me go on my way. Really ? The issue is not the overall time per se, but rather the extremely poor and unprofessional attitude from the branch manager. I asked her what her position was and how long she had been working there ( 4 years). Being in business myself for 30+ years and managing companies, quite sincerely Uhaul has a major issue with the management of this store. NEVER have I, a customer, been treated with such a tone and attitude as this individual exhibited. I am satisfied with Uhaul, and will be renting some trailers for upcoming family relocations this summer, however because of this individual at this store I will not return.Jack U.

I booked a 10am pickup received a email confirming that. Then the night before it stated pickup was 130. I was able to pickup at 11am. The truck was there the whole time. The air conditioning unit in the truck did not work, it was almost 90 degrees that day, Friday 07/01/22. When I returned the truck I mentioned that point to the receptionist, she exclaimed "air conditioning is a luxury and nothing you would have serviced." The Western Reserve location ( where I booked my reservation 3 weeks in advance) ,were said to have notified me that my 10 footer was broken and not available only 2 days before my needed date. They said I was notified 3 times by text but was not. I had to drive out to Austin town. Also, I filled the tank to "full" but never compensated for the extra gas I put in as it was not full at time of pick- up. No apologies or compensations we're ever addressed by anyone. Be more clear about the pricing. The 19.95 gets you in the door, but that price is only if you don't leave the parking lot. Then on top of that, the mileage charge is a double dip, since you still have to replace the gas on top of the mileage charge. Turns out to be more expensive then expected.Mark D.

Our U-haul pick up time was at 1:30. We did everything online including providing credit card information, thinking this helps move things along at pick up. We stood in line for 45 minutes just to be told the card on file couldn't be used, whatever card is presented at the time of pick up is used. We were then told the gas tank was at 3/8 and once we were in it realized it was down to a 1/4 tank. The radio also didn't work which was not that huge of a deal but still. They also had us take it directly from under the canopy where the drop off is so I doubt anything was even inspected when it was dropped off. They just immediately sent it back out again. Thankfully our mileage proved that we should not have used that much gas and the guy said "he'd give us a break."Mark A.

2 Things: 1.) Trailer should be replaced with a newer one as it was much more bumpy and jerky, the door very hard to roll open, and even the employee had a difficult time attaching it to my vehicle due to the old design of the tongue hitch. It also was very beat inside and out, still had the old fashion roll up door instead of the swing open doors, which not only limited the height inside the trailer and made us have to load our 5' cabinet on its side where it got scratched, as well as things shifted and got stuck on the door and we both hurt our fingers opening it. 2) Check in was frustrating as I had already taken a photo of my license, entered all of the info as to where I would be taking it, and my payment source- as that is what was suggested to make it a quick and easy pick up process, which it was not. They said they didn't have any of the info and I had to go thru it all again. Very frustrating. If the app doesn't work (as the employee claimed it never does for them) then please fix the dang app!!!Karla W.

The storage facility was excellent, Appreciated the security of it and the cleanliness. Only reason not rated excellent was upon arrival to the storage facility to pick up a truck we reserved we were told we had to go to another facility, I never received a text message that the facility for pick up was changed, Luckily the pick up facility was only 3 miles away. There was possibly a phone call but with all the spam calls received I don't answer calls that are not identified and no voice mail message was left. You need more workers. One person working and 4 people waiting inline makes a long WAIT. I also rented some of the wheels carts for large items. I needed two. Walk with the girl to check every truck to get a second one. Could not find the second one. Tried to return the first one because it was no help with out the second one. Someone should make sure there are carts at both entrances. We spent more time chasing them down. Also some moving devices (rectangles with wheels) for longer big items would be helpful. I loved renting from Uhaul! They are so convenient, it's as if they've thought of everything you need to store things as easily, safely and quickly as possible. The units I rent are on the temperature controlled side and it's warm in the winter and cool in the summer. I can sit in my unit and go through my items for hours without freezing/sweating to death...brilliant! The temperature control also keeps my fragile electronics from breaking. Win win. Did I mention they also have furniture dollies of varying sizes to help carry your things in the heated parking garage at no charge? Love it!
