DOUGLAS BI reserved at a location near my house. When they called to confirm I was told there was not one available at that location, and it was switched to a location further from my house, but I was told it would be the same cost. However, when I turned it in I was charged for extra mileage.

LURINE WWhen I pulled up I was told to leave the truck there. A man got in and took it away. I asked if he was going to inspect it first but said we will take care of everything inside. I feel like it should have been inspected and miles and fuel level verified in my presence. I seriously doubt that they realized there is a dolly in the back. All that being said he was very nice and did not charge me for anything extra.

HARPREET SThe truck had some minor dents and dings. Inside was clean. Check engine light was on but it didn’t affect the operation of the truck but the dents and scratches concerned me as I don’t want to be Charged for something I didn’t cause. Outside of that the truck was fine.

She offered upsells for my protection which I gladly accepted. In my opinion, she's most definitely an asset to U-Haul. I haven't had a better experience!!

David KThey could be more understanding I had a death in the family the day I was supposed to turn mine in and couldn’t make it and of course couldn’t turn it in at a closer location which would have been doable. And then there are all kind of fees that are ridiculous. Will be my last time ever considering U-Haul for anything.
DUSTIN SI am not happy with the customer service nor pertinent information that was not give to me when renting! No one told me I would have to gas the vehicle up so I get a $30 charge for gas plus the expense of the gas! The place smelt of weed when I came in to drop the van off! I am NOT happy!

SAM T1. When the online reservation states "due upon pick-up" that should be the total amount to be paid including taxes and fees, no surprises. 2. The customer should not have to do an online reservation, wait for an attendant to do more computer work during the pick up phase. 3. The customer should not have to upload pictures of your equipment, odometer readings and fuel levels. I realize u haul is a discount rental company, but like Walmart you've turned it into a self serve company while still charging a premium.
TYLER HI went to the summer Ave location Tuesday the week before rental was needed placed the order to come there and get the rental Told me they would have one for me even if they had to go to another location and bring back When I arrived at the pick up location was told I needed to go to another location Caused me to be late for the equipment I needed to pick up
MICHAEL MI was not acknowledged in any way for five minutes, as receptionist did something on her phone. I was expected to do all the work on my phone. Your app was not working and I was not offered any assistance. It took so long that the attendant waited on the person behind me and still never offered assistance. The person behind me apologized numerous times for going in front of me. Your attendant was not bothered by the jump in line.
CYNTHIA MI was honestly scared since this was my first time being the one to drive the uhaul and I had a long narrow driveway to maneuver at the new place I was moving to. The had the mirrors perfectly aligned which made backing up and turning around a breeze. Had great experience from booking til dropping it back off.
JACQUELINE STerrible customer service. Male employee was not helpful when picking up unit. I wanted to rent regular truck but only a van was available. As I was about to leave in van a truck was returned. I went back in ofc to inquire about renting the truck. The male employee looked at the computer and said "there is a repair ticket on it to go in the shop". It was obvious he was lying and didn't want to re-do my reservation. Upon returning the van, I walked in office and waited on service. I looked out in parking lot and female employee was standing out there with her hand out, like Bring me the keys. Walked out and gave her the keys and she never said One Word. I've never dealt with an employee that completing ignored you. Would not go back to this location in the future.

JULIE HI called yesterday for them to hold a garage remote I had left behind. Tried calling at 7:10pm but location was closed. Spoke to customer service and the gentleman there had been really nice and helpful. Told me the remote would be there in the morning the next day. Called them all morning during work hours and nobody was answering. When my partner went into the store the female attendent told us she decided to throw away the remote because nobody had picked it up. She then proceeded to lock herself in the back of the store so she wouldn’t have to answer questions. Tried calling the store to speak to a supervisor and she refused to give her name or her supervisors. Told us she didn’t have to speak with us and kept hanging up the phone. Eventually she just unhooked it so no calls could come in. I have never in my life been treated so poorly by a company representative. I will be taking legal action and will never ever use U-Haul again.
SALVADOR GThe pick up location messed up my paperwork. Fortunately, Trish, who we dropped the trailer off with was able to sort it out. She was extremely professional and courteous. She had very good customer service.

JOHN LThese employees NOR MANAGER follow rules of uhauls having at least 1/4 tank of gas. I was charged wrongfully and management never reached back out to me! I will NEVER use this location or probably just U-Haul period again. U-Haul has gone down drastically and I refuse to support a company who fraudulently charge you and their smallest box truck don’t even have ramps. I was not given that extremely important detail when I rented. It was pointless to have the truck because there was absolutely no way I could get my washer and dryer on the ramp less truck!!! I HATE U-Haul and I will NEVER EVER use them again! Penske and budget are better and they have much better customer service.

DAROLD BThe lady was very helpful, when I told her that I want to rent a pick-up truck but no driving experience and I want to try driving to see how I feel. She immediately brought a pick-up truck for me to drive and she sat on the right front seat to guide me. Excellent service. Later when I came to rent the truck, I saw a van and I think it would be easier for me to drive. The staff agreed that I can rent a van. Both the lady and the man are very nice to cater to the customer’s request. No much comments for improvement. Thanks
PING CSun visor was broken and check tire sensor was on. I felt the entire experience was more self service. I had to inspect the truck myself and load photos. Oh well, it is what it is
RICHARD TInclude some free mileage in the price...at least 20 miles free with daily rental. The young man who checked me in and checked me out was very helpful. (The link to upload my Driver's License at check-in kept expiring (within seconds). So, he took care of it. And we accidentally left a "needed" piece of hardware on the truck, he checked the truck at check-in, showed us the part, and inquired if it was ours. That saved us some misery for looking for it and having to replace it. We were pleased about that. Thank you.
LAFRANCINE EVehicle was clean but had a strong marijuana smell. Person checking us out stated vehicles aren’t available until next day but online reservations showed 2 vehicles available. Booked online and it was an easy process to then get the vehicle immediately. Pickup and drop off were very fast and easy once we booked online.
JENNIFER EThe Staff members lied! THE WORST EXPERIENCE!!!The charged me for safe move insurance that I declined. After I caught the charge the staff would not remove the charge unless I decided to cancel my reservation. I was in a tight pinch and needed the vehicle… I called customer service they confirmed that safe move insurance was not required to rent from u haul… After I returned the vehicle… I received a call from the store manager and was told that they would not remove the charges… and said “Fuck You with your bid head ass and said that I was banned for making a complaint call to customer service … I immediately called customer service again to report the conversation after whichthey did remove charge and gave me a $50 gift certificate on my next rental… I have not gotten an apology from at this point…
GREGORY MYou could have included taxes along with the rental amount on the app/website. When it's not included, it is an added expense that I didn't need since I was moving to another town. Now, because I thought the tax was included, I am running low on money and praying I can make it the rest of the week. Not exactly a great way to get your life in order, huh?
