I called the 800 u-haul number to find a location near my new home they had to message the store to have them call me. No one called. I called many times to get information on the drop off site but my messages were not returned. It was only when I called someone in a higher position within U-haul that I finally started to get a response.

The cab of the truck was nasty with tons of stains and sticky stuff everywhere. The inside of the truck also leaked water onto my furniture.

I needed to rent a truck and a storage unit on October 14. The online website would not let me rent anything until the 15th but the location was open on the 14th and this was at 9 o’clock in the morning. I called the national number to make a reservation in the storage unit was correct but the reservation for the truck was made in Ohio which makes zero sense. Why would I drive 900 miles to rent a truck that I need in Memphis Tennessee? I think it came down to not listening to the customer. When I had the truck, Ohio location called me complaining that I had not picked up my truck yet. We got it squared away but this could have been avoided if the customer service representative did her job

Rented a truck on the 6th of October and was charged days later again for the same rate...called uhaul and the guy who answered claimed it was my bank holding a fee or something.... After contacting my bank/financial institution...they advised me that my account had been charged twice by uhaul... And it wasn't on my banks end... I've called customer service repeatedly and got no one in regards...to this unauthorized draft from my account

I had rented this unhual for two days but I had to kept it for another day so I called and told them so they charger me for that day so I return the truck back last nite and they charger me again on my card plus 177 miles on the truck I know I didn’t drive that much I feel I been taken

The U-Haul computer system was down the morning I showed up for a 9 a.m. reservation. After waiting about a half hour I left and at 11:30 the owner called to tell me the system was back up and running. He did an outstanding job of making the best of a lousy situation and I very much appreciated his calling me and letting me know the system was up and that I could keep the truck until the next morning if needed. Everyone at the location that helped me provided excellent customer service as well.

Considering this was the 4th uhaul location I went to in a 2 hour period, the first I had a reservation but had to leave without trailer and no help from employees, the 4th place did have trailer but couldn't get it because lights did Not work. Overall horrible experience, had to take uhaul I did not want and paid twice as much as I should have !!! Waiting to hear back about complaint I have already filed.

The truck had a problem. I turned the key and It didn't work when I tried to crank it. I had to put the key in and take out a few times before I could start it. Everything else was fine.

Hiring professional employees would bring up your business. The lady that helped me when I picked up the truck was very nice and professional. When I took the truck back this other lady asked if I had any problems with the truck when I responded no.. She went on saying. You know if you did anything to the truck we going to find out. I'm like Huh lol.. I had the truck a little over a hour an didn't go far just needed to drop off a mattress.. She said very nasty I owe her 30 dollars in gas.. After I complained she changed it to $17 which was still wrong but better.. I figured with the $19.99 deal plus 10 insurance an the few miles I'll be out of maybe $60 instead my bill was $98 ..waaay too much.

The guys at this location unloaded my truck and placed it in the storage space that I rented and let me tell you that they did an AMAZING job and in less than an hour. I highly recommend this location
