Look I always use the U-Haul and I'm usually really pleased but then you decided to change it up a bit and put your customers at risk! When I am done moving I am extremely tired and we decided that we were going to deliver the U-Haul that night after we move because my husband asked to go to work early and take the only car we have, so I don't appreciate being told in order return keys I got to take a whole bunch of pictures at night- this is not a very good location Baytown is not a safe area and I want to go home! I would not recommend this place because if I'm a female and I happen to be by myself and I had left my car there so I was going to return the U-Haul truck and then drive off I would not feel safe there at all because it's just not a good area so you might want to consider that if something happens to a customer while they're trying to return their equipment just so they can turn to put the keys in a boxCRYSTAL K.

The in person customer service is awful. The cashier looked and acted like she hates her job and wouldn't explain the after hours drop off details. The after hours drop off is extremely unsafe as it was pitch black and the drop off box is far from where the return vehicle spot is located. Very unsafe.ANA CAROLINA A.

The rent was always a different amount and the alarm fell off my unit and was not replaced as I was told - twice I had made my payment online and my unit was still locked . Work on the way you guys do the reservations, Seriously!. I filled out a reservation form since I was home,in that form I was asked about all my personal information,credit card information and some other stuff... when I get there I still had to give the same information again, finally when I got the van that I rented, 30 minutes had past and my reservation time was already going on, I missed 30 minutes of my reservation going through the same information that I had given. And then I tell them about those 30 minutes so we can push back the return time and they just looked at me like I was crazy and told me that they can't do alterations to the contract.Santiago R.

The Male associate was doing all he could to help his customer. He called a few times asking for help. No one responded while his lobby became very full of grumpy customers. I was 2nd in line and waited for an hour to be helped by a lady associate that was grumpy to be helping me. She acted like it was a drudgery to do her job and be tactful. Well...first off the boxes that I purchased were falling apart as if they had been exposed to moisture. I retuned them and have NOT seen my credits on my bank account. The fuel gauge was on half when I got in the truck but the paperwork showed that it was Over 1/2 full. My mistake for not checking the paperwork before driving away. I had a schedule that I needed to adhere to. The inside of the windshield should have been cleaned because in the evening Sun it had a film on it which made it a little difficult to see out. They tried to charge me .79 a mile over when my paperwork clearly showed .39. I don't know why I keep coming back to this location because there is always seems to be an issue. I reserved online and received confirmation for rental on Main Street in Baytown, however when I got there to do the online pickup it stated that my reservation had been moved to the one on i10 then when I went in to verify the lady told me that they actually moved it to a location in highlands. When I questioned it she told me that they use a third party for online reservations and they can't guarantee anything (even though it was through the U-Haul website) she stated that they did not have any trucks in the size I reserved. I After already planning well in advance this totally messed up my move date and I found this totally unacceptableANGELA KAY C.

I made a mistake by not opening the door on the Trailer I rented. One of the wheels were bent and caused the door to only opened about halfway and getting stuck. I climbed in and took care of the issue. I would highly recommend that even if the customer has not fully gone through the equipment, that the leasing agent should. We as customers only do this probably once every five years, but this is a daily consistent occurrence for y'all. Not complaining, like I said was my fault not checking, just a recommendation. To be brief Uhaul storage was the worst experience i can remember. I was broken into twice in the course of a year.Many thousands of dollars in machines and tools are gone . The first time they cut the lock , they took 2 portable shelves on wheels that had tools, along with (4) evaporation machines valued at $900 each. They also took an electric jack hammer and a carpet stretcher and many other tools.. The second time they broke in they went through all the boxes and took anything of value and put on a Uhaul padlock on the door when they were done that my keys would not open to cover their tracks. The only thing worse than me being broken into was that the staff told me I wasn't the only one... I cant help but wonder how I got targeted when I never saw anyone in my comings and goings..
