My drop off destination in Baytown on North Main was unprofessional, lacked customer service expertise and never heard a word I said. They only insisted that I pay the difference in gas, and mileage and take up my issues with my pick up location with another department. Needless to say, what would have been a great experience was infested with lack of professionalism, lack of courtesy and lack of interest or concern for the customer's need. I have served in customer service for over 25+ years and could tell you that a difficult customer can be calmed by someone just allowing them to express their concern instead of just being adamant that the customer takes up their concern with another department. Unhappy with Baytown the most. Both service agents were young and had no sense of empathy. If this is our new generation of service leaders, we might as well be robots because they had no desire to entertain my concern.

Hour for anybody to greet me(Stoners) then they charge me a day extra and I only had it 8 hrs...Then tried to charge for a trolley and I had my own...I'm professional mover have my own equip..I found over 100.00 of charges then they fucked up my bank acct trying fix it also..Piss poor service all around...Bad experienced..Truck was piece of shit ...

The representative (Bryce Stephens) Would have received a 5 star rating had he been honest about your business practices. I had to find out from another agent that I did have the option of changing my one way reservation to an in town. I only need the equipment for a few hours. But spent way too much for this move. Moving is stressful enough as it is then to find out the staff was too lazy to makea simple change. I will continue to be a uhaul customer, however will never return to your N. Main location or recommend to anyone I know.

The staff was not organized. It took me 2 hours to get the truck and checked out. After an hour and 15 minutes they gave me the first truck, and after I did a walk around inspection and climbed inside the cab the brack light stayed on and the parking brake would not release. I got out of the truck and went back inside and waited 30 minutes for them to give me another truck. I once again did the walk around I noticed that the inside of the box was dirty and then I climbed inside the cab and noticed that the inside of the cab was dirty. I went back inside and brought it to his attention, his reply was that's the only other truck that we have and I dont have time to clean it. I had asked him to make some notes on the account so that I went get blamed for the filth. I dont know if he did or did not make any notes. However I have never rented from this location before and will never rent from them again. I will stick to my usual location when it comes to renting anything from uhaul.

Too busy for the amount of staff members causing longer than average wait times didn’t acknowledge anyone in the store other than the costumers they were helping and parking lot was too small for the amount of business they had people couldn’t get all the way into the parking lot causing traffic issues on the road and a few customers actually got tired of waiting and left however again when they finally got to you they were curious and professional please feel free to contact me if you have any questions

I called customer service right after picking the truck up to tell them what happened. Apparently they don’t care and didn’t let anyone know about what I experienced at that location upon pickup. I say no one cares because customer service said someone would contact me and talk to me about it. Thumbs down all the way.

I have rented from this location for several years now. It has always been excellent in every way. On this occasion, the customer service was off. I completed a transaction online and went in to pick up the equipment and it didn’t even matter. Any time saved by completing everything online was wasted by standing in line as the agent had a long conversation with another customer on the phone. Then I rented additional equipment on the 2nd day. I only had it for a few hours (approximately 5) and it was added to my original contract and I was charged for 2 days on that equipment as if I had picked it up an entire day earlier than I did. I responded to the email receipt with my concern about the overcharge and got no response. I still have rent another truck to move my belongings from storage in the next month but will probably just rent it from the actual storage facility instead of dealing with u-haul again.

Complete lack of communication regarding Check Out process. Left standing around waiting for confused personnel to move the truck and trailer to the rear of building for some reason. Tried to give me the metal Jack that belongs to the uhaul vehicle carrier thinking it was my own personal property. I was starting to wonder if they actually were employed there.

The person you have working there need training. A lot of people training that has to be the worst I have ever been treated. No people skills at all. Will not be back there’s other U-HAUL places in Baytown. Sad part is I have been using this U-HAUL place for 30 years but not anymore. Thanks but no thanks

The truck itself was nice. Got the job done. My only complaints are only the customer service and they didn't correct the miles when I was returning the truck. I noticed on the original paper work that the miles was .8 off I know it's not much but when they charge .79 a mile it's a mile I didn't use. She initialed the right amount on the paper work but when I return the truck I was charged anyways. I told both people getting and returning. It's only a mile but next time it could be more.

When I rented the dolly I called the same day to see how much it would be to reserve the dolly for an extra day. I was told that I could keep it for 24 hour even though I only rented it until 8pm that day. I was told since I rented it at 10am that day I could take it back by 10am the next day at no extra charge. I took the dolly back everything was fine but then I was charged $32. I was only supposed to be charged $10 plus tax for the dolly for a day. I called the store that I picked up the dolly from and they asked if I spoke to them or customer service? I said I called the number I'm calling now. I don't understand why I was transferred to a customer service representative that wasn't in the same store. That was not my fault that they did not answer and transferred my phone call and that I shouldn't be charged extra fees for renting it past 8pm as it was stated in the contract. The reason I called to see how much extra was so that I would be aware of what was being charged on my card. I was refunded my money but of course it still has not gone back into my account and on top of that I was charged $10 plus tax on my card again. I had a total of 40 some thing dollars with drawn from my card because of this communication error. That was not right.

The young man behind the desk was very nice. I booked on the phone with the 1-800 number. The lady did not do as I asked. She gave me a smaller truck then what I asked for. Even though I was stuck with the small truck the young man let me be upset without making it my fault.

When I got the unit home and opened the door the unit had shattered glass thru the unit. I swept the unit ou. This is the first time I have ever had a problem. When returning the unit the attendee grinned when told of the problem

The only problem i had was with the hours. I was told that I could excess my storage unit 24 hours, 7 days a week. I was not able to do that but the staff at this location made sure I parted happy.

Unit was rusty and dirty. Extended truck 2 days to find alternative storage. Employees very friendly, but did not note that I moved out after 3 days. Just git a bill?! Had to call to resolve.
