The rental about 1 month ago was really bad. After having had taken time off work from the hospital (essential worker), I wasted 1 hour and 40 minutes on the lot after 4 attempts of being issued trucks that were behind rows of other trucks blocking the truck of each 3 separate trucks that I was assigned. the truck that was finally issued the service engine and ABS brakes lights come on when we where on the road making it unsafe. finally after sending out an email to the manager to make it right, they ignored and never replied the email to my niece. I decided to give this location another chance and I filled up before dropping the truck off but missed one tiny place before the line of where I got it originally. I was told that I would be charged another $30 administration fee plus $17 to fill up the missing gas. I went back to put another $10.00 and this made the tank go over by 1/4 extra of gas on the tank. Total rip off and scamming going on here!!!!

I had checked in online for a trailer. Still I needed to wait over 90 min to get attendance from a clerk. Every decent car rental has a fast track ! The staff was just too complacent to care. Piss poor performance !! The new designed trailer coupler with latch is great in terms of handling put totally crap in operation. It does not grip the hitch ball firmly. It wobbles around resulting in rattle and heavy wear on the hitch ball. The rental station is a mess in all regards. Due to the inefficiency and complacency of staff there are customers crowding the place, and distancing and COVID hygiene become a joke. There is not enough customer parking, the return lane is completely blocked with vehicles, the vehicle lot is scattered with vehicles, when returning the vehicle I dumped it on the lot as the return lane was blocked and the vehicle lot had no attendant in sight. They just don't care I guess. Regarding the trailer, you should create a second category 6x12. On a previous rental I had a newer one with higher roof and swing doors. It was a really good trailer and when height is crucial one must know which trailer you get.

Truck was damaged and was given the key with no walk around I was told I was lucky to have mentioned the damaged before leaving or it would have been my responsibility truck was very dirty inside with cigarette burns in the seat and truck was also due for oil change with a warning appearing on the dash constantly I was not satisfied with the service renders with this location.

Fuel less than indicated on form. Vehicle dirty. Vehicle returned during business hours and no Clerk available to check me out. After waiting in designated area for a while,I called the office and was unable to get in touch with anyone. Eventually I had to go to the service desk to check out with 5 customers ahead of me.

Yet again Uhaul completely screw me over by casually informing me the night before my reservation that the vehicle I reserved is not available at the location at which I booked it, and my only option is to pick up from a location nearly A HUNDRED kilometres away. This happens every time, and I wish, wish, wish there was another option besides Uhaul. Every time I rent one it turns into the most stressful experience. How can customer service be this woefully bad, every time?

The truck wasn't ready. Had two trucks parked ahead of it and it took a while ton move them out of the way. Truck only had about 1/4 tank of gas. Alignment problems on the truck. Steering pulled to the right so I had to correct a fair bit while driving to my destination.

One problem area is the online booking process. When booking the unit, I completed the application but it did not work. When I realized that there was no email confirmation, I phoned and there was no record of the application and the process had to be repeated on the phone. When we were booking the truck the same thing happened. It could have been a real disaster if I had not followed up by phone. The staff however, were wonderful, helpful, pleasant, kind, understanding and for that reason, I would recommend them to anyone.

I had stored belongings of mine for about three and a half years in the Bramalea storage unit . It was very convenient to get in and out of when I needed something. And the area was kept clean and the price wasn't bad. I did have one issue though. I was away from my storage unit for 1 year, and when I went back to get my stuff I was surprised to see many mouse droppings. So that would be the only negative. I had to throw out a mattress and box spring, as well as two other boxes of towels. I know mice aren't anyones fault, but just a heads up to others who have to store items, pack them accordingly.

I don't have any complaints against this location. But overall, I had a worst experience with UHAUL. I reserved a 24/7 pickup at 4025 Brandon Gate Drive unit F at 9AM on Jan 30. After reaching the location and following all the online instructions, I was finally told to wait till 11AM for the location to open up and get a personal handover. How ridiculous was that? I had a service elevator booked in our condo from 10-12. This whole experience messed up the entire plan for that day. I had to shell out extra money for the service elevator. Why am I punished for UHAULS screw up? The worst possible experience ever.

Deliver on what was reserved. Had to go 40kms out of my way for a smaller truck than I reserved. When I pulled into the lot I saw my 26' truck being rented out to someone else. Cost me gas and time with no discount offered.

Usually rent once a month from this location. Yesterday had my worst experience. Returned my truck waited outside for 10 min no one came out. Went inside 3 people were at the counter and no one acknowledged me for 7 min. Then I was asked if email receipt and credit card on file to charge would be ok. I said yes and the rep said my truck would be checked in soon. I get a phone call an hour and half later saying where is my truck. This was a surprise to me since no one still had not check it in and the phone call was not pleasant. Instead of checking under the tent where I left it asked me questions which made it seem like I was being accused.

Upon pick up, this trailer had just been sent out and we had to wait an hour for it to get sorted out, very unorganized! The staff simply didn't seem to care and didn't agree with how things were run either. When your staff doesn't care or believe in the company, there's a problem! I did online check in to reduce contact and that was pointless because I had to pay more and go over it all again when I had to go in anyways! This trailer was clearly not inspected recently. We had a tire blow on the highway. U-Haul was difficult to deal with to try to get help. Everyone was confused and unorganized. It took 5.5 hrs to get back on the road. U-Haul needs to figure something else out to be able to help their customers quicker. It was a very cold day, we were hungry and wasting gas keeping warm, our dog was home alone for 13 hours due to this!! Our home is heated by a wood boiler and was well overdue for needing fuel by 10:30PM when we finally got home. When we did receive help they checked all the tire pressures and they should have been at 65 psi but we're all below 40 psi! The technician and tow truck drivers were all appalled by the condition of the tires (bald and under inflated). They stated likely the reason for the blow out. This is negligence and should not have happened! It is winter and tires need to be checked regularly for tread and inflation. That is a simple thing they should be doing EVERY time a vehicle or trailer is returned or leaving! Luckily we made it home safe but this could have gone much worse! My valuable classic truck we were towing or the truck we were towing with could have been damaged or worse we could have been injured in an accident. I expect a refund and compensation for my time wasted, the negligence from this company, my safety put at risk by simply not maintaining your rentals! Unacceptable. Please make this right so we can move on from this incident... Please insure things are properly maintained and your staff are happy to run the protocols in place. Shayla Fines

Uhaul needs to be able to provide trucks for one way as advertised, I had to pick up the rental, drive 1.5 hrs to my new house after loading it up, and then I had to deliver the truck back to the Brampton location 1.5 hours back and then I had to drive 1.5 hours back to my house, 3 hours of unnecessary driving because uhaul couldn't provide me with a one way service.

Inside trailer had a lot of residue on the floor and we had so many vehicles on the road blowing horns and flashing their lights to tell us we had no running lights in the night. That was not a good experience we had to drive with our hazards on the whole time.

I did everything online even online check in and everything...but still the girl at the counter took 45min until i get to drive the truck ...totally ridiculous ....and not wearing mask properly which is health and safety threat these days....i will never go to that location ever...and plus i have booked several things 1 day before from which they said they dont have it now on the day of pick up ....

The van was not wiped down inside from the last customer(s) and smelled like food. There was dried coffee drips on the dash, crumbs and significant pet hair on the upholstery. I'm highly allergic to animal fur. The part that really pissed me off is my husband has brain cancer, zero immune system and I asked if the van was wiped down and sanitized. This was very important to me. I cannot get sick, for obvious reasons and take great care to protect myself from Covid so I don't bring it back to him. I was told the van was cleaned/sanitized when I asked an employee inside, but very clearly it was not. I don't appreciate at all being lied to and left me feeling very anxious. So no, I wouldn't use this business again.

Worst experience ever! Reserved an appliance dolly 2 days prior... No dolly available, not even a regular one. They gave my trailer to someone else, I then had to try and rent another size but the lights wouldn't work and the other available trailer had flat tires.... I left with zero trailer after an hour an half at said location... Had to call around and find another(lesser) trailer just to start my move. I'm not sure how but the $50 reservation guarantee was not applied! Very upset about the whole experience.

There were 10 trucks lined up for return, no one around, the girls inside kept saying wait for the guys in the back. Cannot drop key in drop box, wait. After another customer got upset they radioed and 3 workers drove up in 2 pick ups and one started checking the trucks in. I drove a long distance and did not feel like waiting for who knows how long when there was no one around. The workers should be there on site for the hours they are paid for. Girls inside should be able to say there is a backlog please put the key in Dropbox instead of telling you that 2 guys were working out back and you have to wait for them.

I called U-Haul to create my booking and really needed both types of dollies. I added them to my order for $7 each. When I got to the location, they were not in stock. I had already driven 25 km to get there so choosing another location was not an option. Instead, due to my need for at least one dolly, I was forced to spend $30.00 on the only dolly they had for sale. I didn't receive so much as a sorry. I didn't get a discount, no attempt to see if there was a dolly in the storage area. Also, why the hell are you asking everyone to use a single door entrance with no auto opener when your default entrance is automatic and allows people to go in and out much easier?

I got there at the location and the rep said the truck is ready, hence I prebooked. I got to the truck and its full of snow and I had to clean it with my bare hands due to taking an uber to get the truck. Once driving I had to use the washer fluid to know they wasn't any. I had to pull over and use water until I got to a gas station to buy washer fluid. I find it ridiculous I had to do that and the truck wasn't equipped and filled up. I had really bad experience and wouldn't recommend anyone

This location was fine but I would be hesitant to use U-Haul again based on our experience with the Bolton U-Haul. The Brampton location was our 3rd attempt and not the vehicle we had reserved. Our 10 ft cube van was not accessible to us on the Friday night that we booked it for, nor was it available Saturday morning (our make up reservation). I appreciate that we were given 2 $50 vouchers but that in NO way made up for the stress and inconvenience that UHAUL BOLTON caused us. The customer service was subpar considering all the mistakes were on UHAUL'S end and in NO way any fault of ours. We had to make extra trips, pay for addition kms, drive 40 minutes out of our way and were late for our reservation for the loading elevator. That is the experience that I will share when asked about UHAUL.

The storage units were a bit small. I had to store my items/furniture from a three bedroom house and had to rent 2 units. The height was inadequate as there was only so much stacking that could be done.

The staff were as friendly as they could be under the circumstances. The systems were down which created a very long line up and long wait times. It was extremely uncomfortable for everyone involved. I felt badly for the staff and the experience made me late for work. I would not recommend this facility to anyone. It would be hard to explain my experience and I not to mention they did not have what was booked months ago for me. I ended up having to have two lockers, not side by side and was not offered any accommodations for it.

Counter person was on their own because the other person had to leave to pick something up and although busy she was calm, extremely friendly, and efficient. She called back to the storage area and had another woman, who was very friendly as well, meet me and show me where my unit was. I've had to rent storage a few times over the years and have never seen a facility that was this clean, organized, and maintained. I hope that this gets back to the Brampton staff because they all deserve a HUGE pat on the back.

I was disappointed, when I got an email saying that my account was overdue for my storage locker, and I would be charge a late fee, when I had informed the desk clerk I was moving my stuff out of the locker space and that was reason for renting the truck. It send off an alarm to my head, however I did call in and I do think the matter has been resolved. That was my only disappointment.

I found that when dealing with Shelly, my experience and service was above and beyond. However when dealing with the other staff the both experience and service went dramatically down. I feel that if the staff gave half the performance of that of Shelly, the overall service and experience would be significantly better.

There was no lighting in the storage unit which made it difficult to see anything. The late fees were expensive and added on after only a couple days which I thought was too soon. I felt like I was paying too much for my unit every month. The staff were always very friendly and helpful but they didn’t always know the answers to simple questions. I would use Uhaul again but hopefully I wouldn’t need to use the storage. Renting Uhaul vehicles I have never had an issue.
