Broken glass in the truck. Poor customer service and long wait. Staff seems rude and uninterested in helping. I was very happy to drop off the truck and wrap up the experience.

Smell of the smoke in the truck is terrible . I spend about 17 dollar gas for my Ford pick up F150 to make 130 km. I spent 40 buck for your truck, it was almost triple compare to my truck.



I usually come here alot.. this location always has the equipment i need but i feel like it Needs more staff. I had to connect my own trailer myself this time as well as a few times before, staff jokes around way too much at the front desks instead of trying to get through the big lineups considering they are understaffed.

The lady at checkin was ok. Whole trouble started when i received a test message that the pickup location is Newmarket which is 37 kms away from my home. I called the HQ and the lady JINA (MANAGER) at reservation was very Rude. The next time I get a text that the pick up time has moved to 4 pm. I had movers scheduled to come to load at 10 am. I had requested that i pick up the truck for 9 am. on the 11 th of november. The pickup date was for 30th. When I called the brampton ON HQ location, a lady by the name of INDIRA picked up the phone and was rude and was not helpful. SHE HUNG UP! You people have to understand that you are there because of your customers. So treat them well. She refused to give me a 20 foot truck.( i had booked the 20 foot on the 11th and was confirmed to get it. I HAVE EMAILS TO PROVE IT, EMAILS THAT U HAUL SENT. My friend called on behalf of me as I was in shock and in no position to speak to these jokers at the Brampton location. A lady called Desiree was helpful and empathetic, she scheduled a 26 foot at brampton location. i had to spend $50 by uber and pick up the truck. MOREOVER, I HAD TO PAY $250 FOR A DRIVER TO DRIVE TRUCK, as it was too big for me to drive. UHAUL RUINED MY PLANS AND COSTED ME A LOT OF MONEY. I WOULD BLOG ON FACEBOOK, SOCIAL MEDIA AND REQUEST PEOPLE NEVER TO E PLANS BASED ON U HAUL. I HAD TO MOVE MY HOME ON THE 30TH AND WAS SCREWED BY THIS COMPANYS LAST MOMENT CHANGE OF PLANS FOR ME. I HOPE THE COMPLIANCE AND SR MANAGEMENT ARE READING MY REVIEW AND WILL ACT UPON THIS. UHAUL SUCKS!!!



The customer representative who helped us did not have our truck ready and we waited over 45 minutes for a solution with NO explanation with the representative giving UNCLEAR explanations to the person on the other side. This was supposed to be a one way trip but instead, she inconvenienced us by making us return the truck when we had a strict dead line to follow. I am so unimpressed with this location, I will never recommend them.

The ladies on this location where great. However our original booking was for another location to drop off at Barrie. Reservation desk claims to have left us a message to say the unit would be available until 1 pm. We made our reservation for 6 am and when we got there had to wait for an hour until another department opened. And then had to return the unit all rhe way in Brampton. This represents $80 extra of gas and a huge inconvenience. 2 hour drive back home after a move. something no one wants to do. Overall rhe experience was poor and disappointing.

Deliver vehicles to the customer with a full tank of gas. This is usual practice for most rental companies and removes the guess work out of fuelling the vehicle. I received the vehicle with a quarter tank of gas, fuelled the vehicle with $88.00 of fuel and returned it to the Peterborough location 3/4 full. I did not receive credit for the excess fuel. Not knowing the milage use of a truck I was not aware of how much fuel the trip would take. It is also annoying to have to fuel a vehicle when you receive the truck. If a policy is put in place whereby a vehicle is received full and returned full it would alleviate these issues.

I had the worst experience using Uhaul for the first time, and I will never use Uhaul again. I booked a 10 ft truck for 9:30am. Someone called me the night before confirming the reservation and confirming that a truck was reserved for me. When I arrived, they had no truck for me. They told me I had to get a smaller van because they had no 10 ft truck. They then told me that I had to bring it back to the same location, even though I had booked to drop the truck off in the city I was moving to. I waited for an hour while they "called the person who had my truck". I ended up having to take the smaller van which didn't fit all my stuff for my move. SO unprofessional! How can you not have the truck someone booked and confirmed it would be there. The van I had to take smelled awful too- like a men's public washroom. Like the urinals. Whatever cleaner they used smells so bad... I was gagging driving the van. I will never use this service and tell others to stay far away. They won't have your truck!

Reserved online to speed up the pickup process. They couldn't find my online reserve even with the conf # I had.? So had to go thru it all at the desk. Issue with wiring but staff in the field walked away to service other customers inline-up, leaving me standing there and unable to leave lot.? Fixed issue myself and won't go back there.



Booked a truck for 10am arrived at 9:45 took an hour in line to get the truck. Was told by the cashier another 10 minutes my reservation would have been canceled. 1 cashier on a month end weekend morning is ridiculous.

Equipment had several lights out and yard attendant was unwilling to change for one that had all lights working stating that it’s not a problem if the lights dont work. Had to insist that I’m not taking unfit equipment to get one that had all lights working

U-Haul called is 15 mins before our move and told us our truck was not available. We had booked it 7 days prior to the move. I had to argue with the representative who then gave me a location in another city to pick up the U-Haul truck to move from. This certainly caused us to have additional gas mileage and time wastage that we would not have experienced otherwise. Get your act together U-Haul. I would give 0/5 stars if I could. This exact same scenario then happened to my brother in law the very next day for their move.

Long long long waiting period even they had 3 assistant on the desk. 2 of them left looking at long queue. Truck was not well wheel balanced. Had to put a lot of weight on steering while driving. Not good for long driving.

The reservation process was a little "wonky". We needed and reserved a 10' truck for an out of town move, when we arrived, they only had a 10' truck for an in town move. We ended up getting a 15' trucvk for the same price whch was fine, but was also a lot more truck than we needed. Receptionist we dealt with at the store was great and really helped get everything srted as quickly as possible, but I've rented in the past and only had to walk in, pay and leave, this visit took an hour.

The truck that was given to us had a hole in the ceiling therefore causing a big leak into the truck and damaging several of my items. INspect your trucks better!
