This review is based on my overall experience with Uhaul over the last week at several locations. This one topped it off, I overfilled the gas tank when returning and asked if they can credit my CC the overage as they have the means of charging you if it’s short filled. The answer was no, it’s a one way policy. Bad business…I hope that I’ll never have to use them again. My experience moving from Sault Ste Marie Ont. was an absolute cluster f::/:! These dealers have no idea what there doing!

noella bThis location was great. My overall experience with hail though wasn’t good. My initial location booked for pickup got changed which was fine. 30 mins before my rental I got a text saying I was going to be given a call….i did not. I called U-Haul as my rental pickup location was changed again without my consent again and the time was changed from 9am to 10:15…..I went for 9am as discussed with the representative I talked to on the phone and when I went to pick it up the location was closed. I was then sent to Henry street where everything was fantastic. He even extended my use of the U-Haul since I was now 45 mins behind my moving schedule. To improve I would make sure your locations are open during there pickup hours and not change someone’s rental several times on them.
Sarah PI was supposed to drop off at another location as per the contract but the person on the phone got very rude and changed the location to wherever he felt like. As though as a challenge to your customer. I was supposed to drop off next morning, but I did drop it off 12 hours early. Since the drop off was changed by your telephone operator, I was charged for additional miles. This perhaps will be the last time I booked with you! If someone is really reading this, I expect a call.
JOHN ERear gate on the trailer was quite stiff some maintenance would likely help. Large lot makes it easy to get in and out with the trailer
Jonathan DOnly thing I would recommend is that the gas tank should be full when picking up. It is inconvenient to have to get gas right away after picking up the truck. I have used U-Haul in the past in Mississauga and that is how they operated. It also makes it easier for the customer to know how much gas they need to put in when returning.

Kassandra SThis was my first time renting a U-Haul, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing and honestly disgusting. I originally reserved a 20-foot truck, but when I arrived at the pickup location, it was unavailable. I was then redirected to the Henry Street location after the entire process had already delayed us by approximately two and a half hours. The Henry Street location could not provide another 20-foot truck or even a 15-foot truck, so I had no choice but to rent a 10-foot truck. As a result, we could not move all our belongings in one trip and faced significant inconvenience. U-Haul seriously needs to improve its reservation reliability, customer service, communication, and coordination between locations.

LYLE BI booked the U-Haul at the nearest to home location beforehand. The next day after booking I got call that other location more far will give me promoted price, I accepted. When I came to offered by agent location, the man there didn’t know anything and told I should manage all from my phone, he doesn’t know. The app was working badly and time was going, after contacting the customer support they gave me the location at the end of Brantford and my price increased again. I lost a lot of time and nerves, worst experience ever!

Annette SWhen I got in the truck, the gas tank at quarter tank and I agreed to that in the contractor but once I pulled out of the parking lot, it went out drastically and the gas light went on so I had to spend over $45 in fuel when it should’ve only been $15 because of a faulty gas tank indicator or it was brought back with less fuel and I had to pay for it

KYLA MWe found out the day before that we had to pick up in Brantford instead of Simcoe. Extra driving and time. Also we were supposed to get 66 extra km added but we were still charged extra. I had to call to resolve.

The gentleman that processed our order, Blake Prince was excellent working through the issue and staying positive through the trouble. He did a great job.

OPAL MHaving the truck with only a quarter of a tank of gas in it is very misleading. I filled it up thinking it would need a full tank only to find out that it didn’t need even close to that much fuel.There was half of a tank left so I probably got burned for about $40. Is this done intentionally to customers?
