The staff was friendly, the storage facility was bright and clean but we did not feel safe at all moving in. There were several suspicious looking men hanging around the storage building who obviously did not belong there. YOU REALLY NEED TO HIRE ARMED SECURITY GAURDS. The police responded to your staff’s call and asked them to leave but when we dropped off the truck, there were more people sleeping(?) in cars in the back area and homeless people wandering thoughout the lot. The pickup process was perfect. The return process was little long. The young man was not knowledgeable of the computer system and had difficulties. It was about a 20 minute wait time. With more training he'll be perfect. He is a nice young man. There was another associate on duty but she was busy assisting another client. This entire experience was awful. My box was late and no one could give me a reason why. U-Haul kept passing responsibility on to the local moving delivery company, who in turn blamed U-Haul. It ended up costing more than U-Haul originally told me it would and arranged a service I did not ask for, but canceling the moving help would have meant cancelling the entire order. I couldn't speak to any person in customer service who could help me. This was frustrating and expensive and I will not be using U-Haul again.TRACY E.

It is the 1st time I used this location and will not go back. It was a 4 hr. rental (5pm - 9pm). The contract had the correct prices when I rented. I was told to just drop the key in the drop box when I returned and she would process it in the morning when they opened. I returned at 7pm and was walking to the drop box to put the key in it. The U-Haul lady was talking to someone by the door and said she would take the key. The next morning I received a bill with an extra $20 for a afterhours check-in. If I had know of the hidden billing I would have adjusted my rental so it was returned before closing. Also, I normally rental from a different site. When I did the rental I was on that site but later when I looks at the text with the rental info, it was at this site. That also added over an hour onto my rental where as I could have been back before they closed. Not happy with U-Haul.ROBERT C.
I made a reservation like three days before pick up time they did not have the van there didn't even know about it so they sended me to a different location 15 minutes away.When I return the van there was a discrepancy in the miles lucky me I took a picture when I picked up the van and also one when I returned ...the miles in the contract did not match with the picture at picked up time ....ended up paying extra mileage and also the gas meter it was higher when I returned the van than the one I picked up got charge for this tooVINCENTE C.

Truck had a weird smell and did not run well at all. Staff was awesome got me in and out but the price was entirely too much for what I got. The truck didn't even go over 35 mph. I've rented from here before and never had to deal with it but this time was not good.ROBERT L.
This location is much better than the nearby Langhorne location. Much cleaner facility with more staff and a better selection of vehicles for rent. There was a problematic customer that caused an excessive backup of the line which was my only complaint about this location. Our cargo van that we rented had a full tank of gas and was clean. Our reservation from a month ago was Moved to a new time and a new location without telling us. So we got stuck with 2 10 foot trucks instead of our Desired 26 foot. So now I had to pay double the mileage, gas, tolls and basic fees all because you guys screwed up and have away our truck without notifying us.. Was charged more than originally quoted. Eventhough I replaced the gas and had it back a few hours later. Also didn't drive the previously stated miles. I said 15-20 miles. Associate charged me for 20 miles and I only drove 15. I was quoted $39 but looked at my debit charge and I was charged $58. I wasn't even given an explanation as to why. I got back to the location a half hour before closing to find the door locked n three guys out front smoking weed and said the guy working wasn't there but they would let him kno I stopped by. Then I saw him walk out of the door next to uhaul as I was leaving. My only concern was the lack of motivation of your representative. Thru the phone the ladies that helped me sounded very nice and helpful. Then when I arrive the 3 guys working where â€œbahâ€ with their service. Plus I got charged for gas when I even put more that they provided me. They said I needed to talk with the owner because they didn't know how to fix it. Not really the best experienceâ€¦ The car was dirty but new so it wasn't that bad. Hope this review can help for the best. Hope as well the owner can respond my email about the wrong gas charge.BEATRIZ B.

The truck I rented was pretty beat up. The steering was misaligned and the service tire monitor system light was lit. The staff was great. The entire process (as long as actual people were involved) was wonderful. The U-Haul website user experience was awful...and I'm being kind. Whoever designed it clearly has no idea how to provide consistent....or any...information. I needed to contact support either online via Facebook or call the origin and destination U-Haul locations for information. I reserved a uhaul on line. They did have a the size truck on the lot. I had to go to a different uhaul to get a truck. Why have online reservations at all if there is no guarantee there will be the truck available. Then I left something on the passenger seat. The guy who checked in the truck didn't see it. I received a 9' van. It was a new vehicle with only 850 miles on it. This was the best vehicle I have ever rented from U-Haul. This was extremely fuel efficient compared to any other similar van I've rented from U-Haul in the past. It was much quieter as well when traveling on highway.JAMES S.

Initially I had reserved at Masefield Auto repair and upon arrival, no van and not even open!! I went to the U-Haul location on Business Route 1 in Pendell and even though they had nothing available they arranged for a van at the Durham road location. THAT was great customer serviceLance M.

Staff is friendly and helpful. I have had storage units with other companies. Uhaul made my experience as easy as possible. The climate control is amazing , along with all the carts available to use. The available bathroom was a plus. I really liked and appreciated the re-use section. Over all an excellent experience. Location was great however I rented a 26' truck from Bensalem online a week prior. On a Monday I was told my rental had been moved to the Levittown location. The day before my pickup I was called an told that no 26' trucks where available and they only had a 20' and it is in Bristol. This caused me to have to make additional trips to complete my move which added about 20 miles of driving. Bristol's manager did credit me for the additional miles I had to drive for the pickup at there location but not for the additional miles I incurred due to the smaller truck not being able to fit all of our household goods.Joseph M.

To start, I had a very poor experience starting with the S. 20th street Uhaul location in South Philadelphia about 2weeks ago. Customer service is very difficult to get through. On hold very lengthy times until I got a prompt to leave my # for a call back which was very helpful. I called Saturday early evening. I spoke with a customer service representative to extend my rental truck another evening. When I was talking to the representative, she was having a conversation with someone in her background. Obviously, she was working at home. She never updated the records to change the rental to the Bristol Durham Rd location or to extend the rental another day? Never taken care of.. Very sad customer service!! Mark at the Bristol Durham Rd. Was very exceptional and caring regarding my rental needs on Friday evening, I was in a last minute dismay.. When returning the recently truck to the Bristol Durham location, I was able to meet Mark in person. I wished to personally thank him for his professionalism and helping me.. Amazing works there. I had reserved 2 furniture dollies. They had none. I had also reserved a 15 ft truck. They called me the day before my reservation to inform me that they might not have a 15 ft truck available, and asked me if I would take a 10 ft truck instead. I told them no, because I needed a 15 ft truck. Thankfully they had a 15 ft available when I went to pick it up. Otherwise I would not have been able to move all my mom's stuff who had just passed away from Covid. The 15 ft truck was packed to the door. That really upset me. They indicated in a text that I had made a "Last minute reservation," which was untrue. I had made my reservation a week before. While I was at the same location later that evening putting my mother's stuff in the storage bin I had also rented from them, I stepped on a long yellow metal horizontal pole they had that is intended to keep the dollies from going into the parking lot. It had been raining and it was wet. I stepped on it not thinking about it with items in my hands, and fell face first onto the concrete a step below. It shook me up. I couldn't get up for a few minutes. It hurt really bad. I bled from my face. I now have a black eye with scrapes all over my face. I also have two severely bruised knees that also bled. The yellow metal beam should have rough grips on them. They should not be so slippery. There was also orange cones blocking off part of the entrance to the storage bins with tape on them blocking part of the entrance, which was why I took the route I did, and ended up falling and really severely injured. I did not go to the hospital however because I was on a time limit. I had to have all of my mom's belongings out of her apt before the next day, or I definitely would have. No clear direction on moving in. Where to go or what to do. Was given locker #, code (not needed apparently) and told lock was in unit. That was it. Went to locker and saw a small tag on it that it was ready for user. Thought okay, cut it off and an alarm went off like we did something wrong. Nobody around to help or explain so just went about business. Alarm did go off so hoping everything was fine. Also directions on where to park are nonexistent on premises. I found my locker # on map easily but when you pull into complex there is a wrong way sign where you think you are to go to get behind building. So I keep driving to the end where I think it is going to dead end but realize I can actually get behind the building that way. Then when leaving I attempt to go out the way I thought I couldn’t get in at (assuming 1 way, but again no signage) and then I see the do not enter sign is also facing the other way. Are you not supposed to enter or exit at the top of the complex? Only go in and out at the end of the complex? Very confusing. This location has got to be one of the nicest storage facilities I have ever visited. The entire facility feels like it is brand-new and well maintained. The indoor parking for the storage unit is a nice plus. The climate controlled zone was nice and cool even on a hot summer day. Katie was extremely helpful during the move-in process and made sure everything was in order with my automatic payments.
