Duane W.At first, the agent, who was wearing an "owner" sticker came across as very unfriendly and proceeded to tell me that they would no longer make reservations for me because I did not pick the last reservation was late for this one. I explained to him that I did arrive much later than expected but I called to alert them that I would be late and was put on hold for nearly 20 minutes. And as far as I can remember I have always called whenever I realized that I was not going to be late or would be unable to keep my appointments with Uhaul. I do not understand why they have me in their system as having so many no shows. He later asked that I excuse his behavior as he was not normally in such a bad mood but was just having a bad day that day. I respect that honesty... which is why I gave the site an "Excellent " score.

Justin P.I do understand that the vehicles you guys have are old and worn. But the vehicle I was given was completely damaged on all ends. When I started it up I was afraid that it was going to break down on me. You have to let it sit for 5 minutes before you can actually drive it because of the loud clunky noise. I'm not sure how maintenance is maintained on your U-Haul vehicles, but I would highly suggest before renting them out that maintenance be done on the engine. That way customers are not in fear of a truck breaking down on them in the middle of their move.

James W. | Overall ExperienceWe had some unexpected pickup challenges. But the Owner at our end location was Great! 1st Uhaul scheduler shifted our pickup to over 1hr away??? We drove to what was originally listed & Received Great Service. But upon leaving with truck, a mirror was broken & front headlight out/missed by staff... Then had to wait to correct, & ultimately get different truck.. Then after 1st day load Air-conditioning was not operating... We also had to do re-clean of Cab before trip...MUCH Prayer, and the HAND of The LORD aligned! The Owners at both pickup & drop-off were very kind & helpful... The Scheduling contact was atimate that we just had to drive a 2hr plus turnaround to pick up what was to be a local service...even upon call back, call was disconnected (hung up on). Seems, perhaps a bit more training or Customer CARE, remembering why we have a business. To Provide Solutions & Real people with Real lives are affected. Many timeliness are connected when someone is renting your trucks. Thank you & BE BLESSED!

Benjamin B.15 minutes prior to pickup, I was informed I needed to pickup the vehicle at another location. Went to the other location and I was told the vehicle I had reserved was not available so I would be moved to a 10 foot box truck instead of the 9 foot cube van original requested for ease of use and parking downtown.
Braden K.The only critique I have is that when I came to pick up the trailer. I had a pick up at 5, I got there at about 4:40. But I didn't leave until about 6:30. I also understand that renting On or near the 1st of the month Is a hassle in itself.

David V.Nathan Showalter is trying very hard to lose his job. He obviously hates working there. I have made one report to customer service and was escalated to another customer service rep and the hold time was over 20 minutes. My phone # is 763-242-9014. also, some confusion on drop off time/date. My online reservation was correct but it was ignored at pick up so ai hope I have not incurred any extra charges. Ill have to check my statement. Yard people were great. If you find the security video from 5:30 pm from May the 6th It will be pretty funny, only because he's not my employee. When he stopped polishing he's knife and set it on the counter to help me I was tempted to pull my Sig out and ask him if he wanted to compare anything else. I've had these phone calls from customers about weekend employees' so it was kinda funny to see this behavior from a customers point of view

ALBERT M. | First ImpressionsI had the truck for 2 days did not get a chance to move it at all because my place was not ready so I just basically used a truck to load all of my items on there and came to the u-haul to give a storage room to spend the rest of the day unload the truck into Yao storage room and I was charged for 3 days instead of 2 days. Not happy with the service cause I was there on the 3rd day unloading the truck they know they should never charge me for a 3rd day because they knew my situation.

charles c. | First ImpressionsThis storage place did not meet my expectations for the following reasons. First, it was totally inconvenient, you have to haul your belongings through the entire facility to get them to and from your unit. They have one entrance for the storage site. So it’s not like you can pick a door that will at least bring you close to your unit... if you are in the back of the facility, it’s going to be inconvenient. The halls are narrow so if there are others in the hallway you have to turn down a row or they have to in order to allow you to pass. If someone has their door open you will not be able to pass through until they close it. Likewise, if your door is open you will have to close it so others can get through. I requested they open the garage door to the loading dock and was told it was out of order so we had to bring everything out of a door that was smaller and less conveniently located. That wasn’t a big deal, but simply opening the door would have made an already inconvenient job somewhat better. Opening the garage door would also have helped release some of the propane that was in the air. There is a huge you have to pass through that smelled strongly of propane. If you have to pass through it more than a couple times, expect to get a headache. It most certainly seemed like it could not have met health and safety standards. There is also not enough parking near the entrance... had to start loading the truck from rather far away until someone moved their car... and had to watch like a Hawk so we could get a parking spot before someone else... we were loading a whole truck so fortunately we eventually got a parking spot at the loading area. but the parking issue definitely added a ton of time onto the move. I’ve had less expensive units at other locations in the past where I was able to drive the truck right up to the indoor unit... so I was surprised at the poor layout of this facility. I was fortunate enough to get a ground level unit, but half the units are on a second level and you can’t get carts up the stairs so people park their carts at the bottom of the stairs while loading them and it creates s problem when trying to pass. For the cost, it’s totally not worth the hassle. When we were initially storing the stuff we stopped before we were halfway done and I stored the rest of the stuff in my aunts garage cause it was so much work and time to get the stuff to the unit. I would not be able to recommend this facility to a friend in good conscience.

The manager at the Brooklyn Park U-Haul is very disrespectful unprofessional and overall just very rude. We have rented there for over four years and are soon to be done thank God we have never been late on a payment or anyting there's absolutely no reason for the way we were treated I have contacted the Better Business Bureau about this matter and another private party it's too bad people have to be so miserable
