After a couple months of not going into my unit which I had no need to I found my storage unit was infested with mouse droppings and some kind of white styrofoam literally all over the unit. Good thing my belongings were in totes and the things that the mouse got into were not important so I threw it away. The storage had a real strong mouse odor which left my belongings smell bad. I had to leave my stuff outside for a few days at home. When I ask staff if they were aware that there are mouse staff stated “YES” they are aware of problem. I was just approx 1 week into the new months contract which I ended due to mouse fest reason. I’m disappointed that I would not get reimbursed for remaining time not use due to that reason. I was told to file a claim with whatever company for damage which was not reasonable for me. I would not recommend this to my friends and family and if you’re reading this please make sure your belongings are safe from mouse.

The associate was also engaged in a phone conversation while assisting, which was perceived as unprofessional and impolite, particularly given that personal information was being shared.

sean T | Overall ExperienceNo one notified me for months that I was behind on the unit and then all of a sudden i owed 400 dollars and was not allowed to make a payment. I either had to make the full four hundred dollar payment or I lost my unit. Which I thought was extremely unfair, seeing as i've had this unit for several years.And i've always paid. I have now lost so many valuable things that were in that unit because I wasn't allowed to make a small payment to try to catch up. I will never be using uhaul for storage ever again. I should have been allowed to collect my things or at least make a payment that would allow me to keep the unit. So thanks.
