Good experience overall....air conditioner in truck really didn't work but luckily it was not that hot out. Truck was fine. I returned the truck with just under 3/4 of a tank full of gas, and had a little under 1/2 when initiallly picked up so the difference was at least $25...would have been nice to have a bit of a "rebate" for the extra.Bradford C.

Service needs a big boost, the employee who checked us in was unhelpful and didn't answer any of my questions. Then the employee who helped with our return sent us to wait at our truck and then never got us, I had to come back and ask for help and then eventually just did the online drop off because no one would help us. With that also the truck was given to us at near empty gas, I had to gas up twice once just to get off the uhaul lot and once to get it back to (a quarter tank)???? Which is weird, why wouldn't uhaul fill up the tank and then ask me to return it with a full tank, how am I supposed to guess how much fuel gets me to a quarter tank right before drop off. All of this paired with a rusty truck who's door kept getting stuck open has lead me to never want to use Uhaul again. Pensky offered me none of these issues and I will be returning to themGRANT L.

It used to be that when you picked up your truck it was full of gas, and when you returned it you refilled the tank so you replaced the gas that you used. When I picked up my truck the tank was empty and they knew that. I was driving approximately 200 miles so I spent over $100 on gas when I left the uhaul place so I could move. When I returned the truck it still had about 25-30 gallons of gas in it that I had bought. I pointed that out when I returned the truck and the guy checking it in just shrugged and said too bad and nothing can be done about it. That is poor customer service and a bullshit policy. I will never use uhaul trucks again.Mike G.

Only one person working the counter on a weekend is unacceptable. I have used this store twice and I will look for a different location/company for my future needs. When people standing in line get upset because of the snail like pace of the counter service on multiple occasions that is a deal breaker for me. This storage place did not meet my expectations for the following reasons. First, it was totally inconvenient, you have to haul your belongings through the entire facility to get them to and from your unit. They have one entrance for the storage site. So it’s not like you can pick a door that will at least bring you close to your unit... if you are in the back of the facility, it’s going to be inconvenient. The halls are narrow so if there are others in the hallway you have to turn down a row or they have to in order to allow you to pass. If someone has their door open you will not be able to pass through until they close it. Likewise, if your door is open you will have to close it so others can get through. I requested they open the garage door to the loading dock and was told it was out of order so we had to bring everything out of a door that was smaller and less conveniently located. That wasn’t a big deal, but simply opening the door would have made an already inconvenient job somewhat better. Opening the garage door would also have helped release some of the propane that was in the air. There is a huge you have to pass through that smelled strongly of propane. If you have to pass through it more than a couple times, expect to get a headache. It most certainly seemed like it could not have met health and safety standards. There is also not enough parking near the entrance... had to start loading the truck from rather far away until someone moved their car... and had to watch like a Hawk so we could get a parking spot before someone else... we were loading a whole truck so fortunately we eventually got a parking spot at the loading area. but the parking issue definitely added a ton of time onto the move. I’ve had less expensive units at other locations in the past where I was able to drive the truck right up to the indoor unit... so I was surprised at the poor layout of this facility. I was fortunate enough to get a ground level unit, but half the units are on a second level and you can’t get carts up the stairs so people park their carts at the bottom of the stairs while loading them and it creates s problem when trying to pass. For the cost, it’s totally not worth the hassle. When we were initially storing the stuff we stopped before we were halfway done and I stored the rest of the stuff in my aunts garage cause it was so much work and time to get the stuff to the unit. We had three appointments to get a lock cut off with the manager all three times that we got to our appointment time we were told it couldn't be done because they were too busy my roommate spend $50 on a uber all three times to get there from Bloomington . The manager at the Brooklyn Park U-Haul is very disrespectful unprofessional and overall just very rude.
