We were meant to pick up a 10ft truck and auto transport at 8am. Upon arrival the auto transport rear left lights didn't work so we took the truck to load up before our trip and were told they would either have the lights fixed by the time we returned at 3 or they'd send us to another store to get a new one. After calling ahead the employee confirmed he got the lights working only for us to show up and they were still broken. We then got sent 20 mins down the road, in prime rush hour, in the opposite direction of where we needed to go, to another location for a new trailer. Once we got there the trailer still didn't work so the employee diagnosed that the truck was the issue and wasn't outputting the signal for the lights, but he couldn't fix it because the engine was hot and he couldn't safely get to where he needed to. The only option to get working tail lights would be to move all of my belongings from our now fully loaded truck to a new truck which we didn't have time for so we had to drive 14hrs without left tail lights on the trailer. And to top it all off the leaf spring on the trailer broke and also gave us a flat 40 miles from our destination.

Second time I have needed extended storage. Much happier with the BP facility than I was with a competitor I used previously. Being climate controlled is awesome. My stuff doesn't smell funny. At this location, my experience with the supervisor or manager according to what the other staff told me, he was very rude, disrespectful, abusive, racist, unprofessional, and without customer service attribute characters. He behaviors will drive customers from that location and the business in totality.

I use to work for UHaul. Im moving and have spent over$200 in boxes. Was told my Van charge was $99.09. Got tagged for an additional charge of $57.98 WHAT????
Make sure when you rent to get all the facts before you do anything.
Plus, the van was dirty.....I'm really disappointed. Had I known there were gonna be more charges from what I was quoted, I would have rented a trailer.

I used a motorcycle trailer for all of 2.5 hours and returned it same day. I was told to just drop of the trailer and they would check it in for me. Instead, I went in and let someone know. He said he would check it in , but when I received a charge on my credit card, it was for THREE days. now I have to make the extra effort to call and get a refund. not good.

The worker inside who entered the information in the computer for the trailer rental and the worker who hooked up the trailer were both very courteous, friendly, and polite. Purchased a storage unit. When I went to the unit it was already rented to another person. It took an hour to get sorted out. Then I was charged extra money for Your mistake. Also I rented a truck which was supposed to be at half tank of gas but that was also below halfway. Additionally the lock didn't work.
A terrible experience and staff was not welcoming and had I had the time I would have gone to a different location. In the future I will do my best to avoid uhaul.

I rented a storage unit at this U-Haul location for about four months. I got the first month free as per the rent a truck promotion. My unit was so clean and easy to move in. I had access to my storage unit all the time. I did not encounter any issue whatsoever. When I moved out, all my things were still intact, no damage to any of my belongings. The storage units are climate controlled, so my things were well protected. The staff at this location are so helpful, friendly and professional. Don’t look anywhere else if you’re looking to rent a moving truck or storage unit. You will have an amazing experience at this location. i have rented trucks and storage from this facility many times. I always had good experience until this time!
I was told to go to the wrong truck and could not find the correct one I tried calling the phone number and kept getting coward to the 1890 #:(
I told the Ms aged that I would be coming after 9 because my helpers could t come u til then. I was not told that there was no access after 10! I left my purse and my storage unit open because we had one last load to take out and I would have been able to close out the storage unit the next day! Instead, we were locked out! I called the emergency number and no one answered. I called the 1-800 # but all she did was call the emergency number with no luck. Then I called the police, but they could t do anything unless I left a baby in there.
I told the manager the next morning that I called the emergency number and no one answered m. He said he goes to sleep at 8 pm and turns his phone off‼️ Totally unacceptable 🤬

When I 'reserved' a storage space 3 weeks before my rental I had no idea that on the day of move in I would be told there were no spaces the size I reserved. I was told at the counter on check in day, luckily we had space at a family member home to store the items that did not fit in the smaller space we were given. I think a message a day before at least would have been appreciated. The employee at the counter was friendly and fast but it did not make up for this inconvenience.

This center did have an issue with leaking gutters and overhang. It caused an issue with getting wet and also with serious ice buildup on the pavement right where guests walked to unload their trailers.

The location itself was clean, & well lit.
I didn’t think mice would be an issue, but they were & they pooped & peed on everything in my storage unit.
They ruined my mattress, i had to actually throw it away due to the damage the mice caused to it.
I definitely wouldn’t recommend this location.

I must say after being here for 1 years and half it has been pleasant, helpful and the staff has always been helpful. 1 thing I would love to see, before I share I must say the place was well kept and clean inside units and hallways. I would love to see a dumpster. When you need to dispose some items, like you all have donations I would like to see a place to get rid of items.

I had the truck for 2 days did not get a chance to move it at all because my place was not ready so I just basically used a truck to load all of my items on there and came to the u-haul to give a storage room to spend the rest of the day unload the truck into Yao storage room and I was charged for 3 days instead of 2 days. Not happy with the service cause I was there on the 3rd day unloading the truck they know they should never charge me for a 3rd day because they knew my situation.

This storage place did not meet my expectations for the following reasons. First, it was totally inconvenient, you have to haul your belongings through the entire facility to get them to and from your unit. They have one entrance for the storage site. So it’s not like you can pick a door that will at least bring you close to your unit... if you are in the back of the facility, it’s going to be inconvenient. The halls are narrow so if there are others in the hallway you have to turn down a row or they have to in order to allow you to pass. If someone has their door open you will not be able to pass through until they close it. Likewise, if your door is open you will have to close it so others can get through. I requested they open the garage door to the loading dock and was told it was out of order so we had to bring everything out of a door that was smaller and less conveniently located. That wasn’t a big deal, but simply opening the door would have made an already inconvenient job somewhat better. Opening the garage door would also have helped release some of the propane that was in the air. There is a huge you have to pass through that smelled strongly of propane. If you have to pass through it more than a couple times, expect to get a headache. It most certainly seemed like it could not have met health and safety standards. There is also not enough parking near the entrance... had to start loading the truck from rather far away until someone moved their car... and had to watch like a Hawk so we could get a parking spot before someone else... we were loading a whole truck so fortunately we eventually got a parking spot at the loading area. but the parking issue definitely added a ton of time onto the move. I’ve had less expensive units at other locations in the past where I was able to drive the truck right up to the indoor unit... so I was surprised at the poor layout of this facility. I was fortunate enough to get a ground level unit, but half the units are on a second level and you can’t get carts up the stairs so people park their carts at the bottom of the stairs while loading them and it creates s problem when trying to pass. For the cost, it’s totally not worth the hassle. When we were initially storing the stuff we stopped before we were halfway done and I stored the rest of the stuff in my aunts garage cause it was so much work and time to get the stuff to the unit. I would not be able to recommend this facility to a friend in good conscience.

We had three appointments to get a lock cut off with the manager all three times that we got to our appointment time we were told it couldn't be done because they were too busy my roommate spend $50 on a uber all three times to get there from Bloomington . The manager at the Brooklyn Park U-Haul is very disrespectful unprofessional and overall just very rude. We have rented there for over four years and are soon to be done thank God we have never been late on a payment or anyting there's absolutely no reason for the way we were treated I have contacted the Better Business Bureau about this matter and another private party it's too bad people have to be so miserable

One suggestion: more flat bed moving carts are needed for the storage area. For the amount of people moving in and out on Saturday, June 22 - - a few more flat bed carts would have been great!
