box truck was extremely loud during acceleration, sounded like a exhaust leak. made the overall drive much louder and less enjoyable. remaining vehicle was fine.

After driving from Florida to Georgia and getting to a previous location and finding out the agent didn’t enter my info correctly and was sent to this location. I wasn’t charged the extra mileage or gas because it was an additional 26 miles to a different location. The hospitality and understanding speaks volume.

I would not recommend Uhaul to anyone . They overcharge you, horrible experience

Poorly maintained truck! Smelled like throw up. There is not another truck for us to get and we had to move that day, so had no option but to keep the truck. It started raining shortly after we left and The windshield wipers were in terrible shape so much so that we had to buy new ones for it so we could see. On the inside of the windshield It was so nasty and dirty when we cleaned it her rag turned black. The driver side window handle was broken so we could not roll down the window.

U-Haul Carrollton specifically, 0/10. I’m thankful for those who did their best to turn this around. Carrollton delivery ladies are beautiful souls. The admin/ in office reps made this whole experience awful. I have to do this move again in about 8 months, I will absolutely not use the Carrollton office. Which means I may have to choose a totally different company, sadly. U-Haul as a company? 8/10.

Arizona was smooth and perfect. Georgia needs actual customer service. Unfortunately the bad interaction outweighed the good. My box was late and when I tried to get understanding, I was talked at and not able to speak. I was charged delivery but they weren’t even sure where my box was. My Georgia DELIVERY ladies (that were at my home with my box) were perfection!

Ants were in two of the U-Haul boxes. Also there are very few people that know anything about the boxes and you have to call multiple people for questions and answers.

Not an issue w/ this location but I tried to rent a truck from the U-haul in Bowdon Ga and I could not pick it up due to it saying I was in the wrong location based on GPS. This caused me to lose half a day of moving. Although I would consider using U-Haul Moving & Storage of Carrollton again I doubt I will ever use U-haul again.

This location helped thoroughly with clear explanation. I was just using my free storage with my one way truck rental but they treated me like their best customer. I highly recommend using this location for rental or storage.

Great customer service. Pickup was friendly and easy. Drop off was great. It was pouring rain, and the two guys on duty where a big help in keeping me dry and putting the customer first. Great experience!

The only issue we experienced was there was only one poor gal there and as efficient as she was, there was too many customers for her to handle. She was polite and professional but she had no one else to help her check in and help others with rentals. You need at least 2 people for all these last minute renters.

We had reserved a truck in Bowden, GA the day before and when we picked it up the office, said to be open, was not. I called and told by the owner to use the app. I finally was able to get the key from the lockbox to only find the truck had mechanical issues and did not feel safe driving to Atlanta, GA. I was able to cancel easily with the representative. We went the next day and reserved a truck with the Carrollton location. The staff was very helpful and the truck seemed brand new. Very happy with that experience.

You charged the wrong rental rate and charged me a mileage penalty because my mileage estimate was low. I would have increased my estimate had I known this was a possibility. Not transparent at all!

Let’s just be honest I grew up in Georgia so I’m super honest, but I live in Los Angeles so I’m super brutal if you suck you suck you suck. In this particular case this is my third or fourth time having the pleasure of renting from this particular U-Haul storage store in Carrollton Georgia, they go above and beyond their job. They are extremely nice. The young man that I dealt with went way out of his way beyond what he was supposed to make sure everything was checked, he even went ahead and checked the wiring on the back of my brand new jeep again to make sure that the other U-Haul dealership did it correctly and thank God he did that because there was a problem with my electrical from another U-Haul store in Peachtree city so all I can say is to the young man who helped me thank you so very much. You will be taken care of all my U-Haul needs from now on when I’m in that area.

I would like to start by correcting a post that was posted last year in October under my name without my acknowledged. It was posted by the Hollywood California store. They died that I was being negative source in particular Carrollton, Georgia location and that is not true Lori and Dallas both were fantastic employees to work with and I would do it again and I just did I rented a trailer going from Carrollton Georgia to Texas. The turtle was extremely clean, the employees, Lori and Dallas and my cousin and I with each other around for about an hour and a half two hours after the fact because they’re such wonderful people anyone said anything negative about these two individuals should have their assets kicked. They are wonderful people to deal with. They maintain their store to the highest level possible, and they maintain those trucks and trailers.

Their operating hours are a major advantage. They are open 7 days a week, starting at 8 AM and closing as late as midnight (sometimes around 11 PM depending on the day). This provides a wide and flexible window for pickup. Additionally, drop-off is available 24 hours, making it an excellent option for urgent or emergency situations.

This is the best U-Haul location I have rented from. Always friendly. Always going above and beyond. I just returned a 30+ U-Haul rental and highly recommend Bankhead Highway, Carrollton, for your van/truck rental needs.

I would love to know how to get the promotion lock in rate. I have to units and I thought that I could receive a discount of a lock-in rate per month.

Charge me for miles that I did not put on the vehicle. I took a photo of the mileage before I moved the truck and and the mileage after I returned the truck. This location cheats there customers. I’ve been a customer and rented many times from this location. I don’t do business with companies that cheats people, I refused to rent from this cheating company again.

I’m disputing several charges on my recent rental. • Fuel Charge ($13.12): I returned the truck with the fuel level exactly where it was at pickup. I have video evidence from both before and after the rental confirming this. • Hand Truck Charge ($14): The hand truck was not secured (zip-tied) when I picked up the vehicle, which is the standard procedure. It was loose in the back, indicating it was already in use or not properly checked in before my rental. • Total Cost Discrepancy: My expected total was: • $49.95 base rate • $1.09/mile × 87 miles = $87.09 • Expected total: $137.04 Instead, I was charged $264.14, which is significantly higher and includes charges I believe are incorrect. Please review these charges and issue a correction or refund as appropriate. I’m happy to provide my video evidence if needed.

The cleanest U-HAUL TRUCKS I’ve ever rented! Also what surprised me was we got a free 10’x10’ for 1 month free. We had a lot of stuff in another climate control storage place for the past decade but suddenly they drastically raised their prices by a lot! So we decided to get our stuff out. Having that 1 month free is great. Now we don’t have to rush to figure out what to do with this family/ sentimental and personal property! Thanks U-Haul!

The day I bought the truck back the manager forced me to accept an email (in which I never received it until today when I physically drove there) instead of an paper receipt. She didn't go see the mileage or anything. I'm old school, I rather just get what I purchased and go, instead of all this technology crap.
