The yard man was very curtious and helpful. The front office lady appeared to careless to my needs. She made me feel like I was bothering her to come in and rent a trailer. I will not be using this location ever again!! This lady needs to have training on how customers view her and her attitude!!

DURK D.This was my first time using the U Box. Every aspect of this process went perfectly! Notifications came, delivery was exactly as scheduled. and both my drivers, women, put the box right where I needed it at pick up and delivery. I don't remember the drop off driver's name, but she was great. Tina, delivered my box and was great also. Confirmation calls came exactly as they were supposed to and delivery to my new location was on time. Zero glitches in this process. I'll definitely use it again if the need arises and recommend it to anyone. Great job. Cost was comparable to other services and far cheaper than renting a truck and driving it myself. Very easy.
Joe B.I didn't know that I would be charged for not filling up the gas tank. I was told my total would be one cost ($112) but ended up paying $200 in additional costs including the gas refill charge. Letting the customer know beforehand could save them some money.

ELIZABET G.My overall experience was awful. I had so many issues from beginning to end. From the recommended movers provided on the Uhaul website, who were unprofessional, on drugs, and rude. My move was postponed for two days b/c I had to fire the movers that were recommended. They damaged my $3000 mattress by dragging it across the yard and then left it on my bathroom floor after I canceled the move with them. The process of calling anyone at Uhaul is a nightmare. With hours, that literally turned into days of wait time and being transferred many times, all to employees who did not have clear answers. I had to physically go to a Uhaul location to get anything done. My stuff arrived on time and safely. However, after changing my credit card info THREE times, the wrong card was still charged. I had to speak to management to get this finally taken care of. Uhaul employees are not helpful overall and do not seem to care about their customers. I will never use Uhaul again.

JAIME P.Our initial rental in Lake Forest was not available to take when we got there because the previous renter did not return it in a usable condition. Employees were not too helpful. Got a text a few hours later that one was available in Rancho Cordova (appreciated that). Trailer had a blinker out and 2 bare tires. We had a 16 hour drive ahead of us. While driving we called corporate for help with the blinker but had to wait too long at meeting point, so didn't do that. Called ahead to Las Vegas and they were amazing changing the blinker in about 15 minutes (5 stars to Nick Alvar). Went on our way. When we arrived at our location we waited a few days and called about the tires. They sent someone out to change them. It was irritating to have to deal with these issues and the anxiety associated with driving to Vegas without a blinker and then the whole trip with 2 bare tires.
GENE J.I hired movers based on the delivery window provided. The boxes arrived mire than 30 min last that time. I paid my movers to sit around and do nothing for 30 min. No call from uhaul about the delay, I had to call them. No apology and no compensation for the extra money I had to pay. Very frustrating.

Jorge P.This is the best Uhaul store in America. Marcus does an amazing job keeping this location at the top. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the store has a lot of inventory at great prices, and the equipment is always clean and functions perfectly every time.
Robert B.I received a truck that supposedly had 3/8 th of a tank of gas. Not only was the tank on empty when I got it, there was no gas cap. I received a credit of $34.50 and was told to return the truck with 1/4 tank of gas. That amount of credit would mean that gas is $2.42 a gallon. I'm not sure where you think I can get gas that cheap in Carson, Ca. Gas is over $3 a gallon. I drove immediately from the rental location to the nearest gas station and $50 didn't even get me up to 1/4 tank. On the final invoice there is actually only a $28.50 credit for fuel. If I don't see some more credit issued to my card, I will NEVER use Uhaul again.

Betsy Q.The Carson/Compton facility was nice. However, my reservation was originally at the Lomita location at the Place Body shop. The office was closed and they did not notify me. I stood in the rain trying to find the lockbox with the Truck keys. I called the UHaul office and they found me another truck at a location further away. I ended up wasting an hour of my time and paying more in mileage because the Palace location was closed without notifying me.
