U-haul changed the pick up location for the equipment one day before I picked up the equipment, from CAsa Grande, Arizona, to Apache Junction Arizona. The new location was over an hour away from the location I specifically requested- which cost me time and about 1/4 tank of gas to pick it up and bring it back to my home for loading. I will avoid using U-Haul in the future unless absolutely necessaryMichael M.

We are very disappointed with the service we received from this location. It seems at every turn the staff from this location was trying to charge us extra. I live in Coolidge AZ where I originally reserved a trailer. On the morning I was to pick up the trailer a representative from Coolidge mini storage called me to say that the trailer was unavailable. When I asked why he became very rude and confrontational. I decided to go to the Casa Grande location even though it took me twenty miles out of my way. At the Casa Grande location I was treated very professionally.Eric S.

I was told that if i return the trailer before the full 5 days it would be less. Then once I returned the cart the monday after the rental the manager said NO that our employee was incorrect and they will not honor what that employee told me/US. This is completely unprofessional and managers and employees need new training on how to treat customers and know what correct information to give out. U-haul needs to have a new training session on customer service and i will not ever use U-Haul again because of this. I will also be adding my comments to YELP and every website for reviews that i find. One thing that i will do is give the gentleman kudos at the drop off site for going above and beyond to try to help us with getting everything fixed (which again did not happen due to poor management and a crap ass attitude.)Wayne W.

Unit was due in Casa GÅ•ande from Cincinnati on June 6th and my home on June 12th. It was dropped at Sun City AZ on the 31st of May and stayed there till I called on June 15th and 16th. They then transported the box to Casa Grande store where they set home delivery for that Sat June 18th and picked up on June 21st. My contents looked liked my box had rolled over. Things that were on the bottom were now laying on top. This was packed by professional movers I might add. I haven't unpacked said goods as my room is not ready. I have no idea of damages at this time. If any I will inform you. Also, was told by representative about your $50.00 a day guarantee. When this all happened I was told I had not set up home delivery. I most certainly did. I guess that goes with the paperwork I got on the Bpx which said destination: Sun City, not Casa Grande of which was the original order. It also changed on the 15th on my Dashboard as well. Sounds like something trying to be covered up in my opinion. As well as my home delivery was NO where to be found. All in all this was a terrible experience and UBox did not follow their guarantee. As I see it I am owed $50.00 Ã— 7 days. No one has come forward. As it stands I will not be using any of your services. I timed my needs to the delivery of my box, ie: clothes medications etc. It was horrible. Was told by u haul company before rancho that if we used u haul and stored with them we would get 30 day or one month free storage in Casa Granda. We found out no one in office but s gal in a office room behind counter who could see me and me them. She would not help. So left and came back later. That gal I asked for 10 x20 storage unit and that I was told to tell them we are suppose get one month free storage since we used them for everything. She said nope did not have no units and no they do not honor that 30 day free on storage. Asked about pods. Not sure if she could do that to equal a storage unit. Left upset. Found a different place to store. That place is alot better to deal with. Well that is all I have to say. Took me a while just to do this survey was not going to do. But had to get off my chest. My experience was excellent. Lucy the manager was very kind, she knew what she was doing when reserving out the trailer to me. Upon pick up the gentleman Sonoris I believe his name was hitched the trailer up made sure everything was secure and safe for me. He even made sure my lights worked. We also had a Reservation for a free storage unit in the Marana location. When I called to advise them when we would be there they said they would not be able to give us a free storage unit even though I talked to customer service and they said that it was all set up and it should be free. We ended up having just to go get another storage unit. This was very upsetting. Anyways we will be renting another U-Haul and hoping that we won't have this problem with the next set up for a free storage unit as we are moving from Reno to Arizona which is one way and we should get a free storage unit. Customer service emailed the manager Kyle White but he never reached out to us. The person that we had talk to the day before was very rude to us and ended up hanging up after you put it on hold. 😓 hoping we won't have this problem next time around as it was very stressful to have a 20 foot U-Haul full of stuff and nowhere to put it.Brian W.

Ensure that the equipment is actually clean before renting it to customers. I rented a 15 ft truck, and when I got it home to start loading it, I slipped and almost fell inside the box of the truck. There was oil everywhere, from the floor to the cab-over storage area. We used the rented blankets to wipe the truck out, but it was still worrisome.Kelly W.

This is meant for your reservation process and not the pickup facility. When you rent a trailer and request a location four weeks in advance I would think you would try to get a trailer to that location as best you can and not make someone drive 45 minutes to pick up a trailer after you told him at 6 o'clock the prior night. The person I spoke to said that if I didn't want the trailer I could rent it from some other company. We all know U Haul is the only one that rents a trailer for cross country moves. What a poor snd condescending response! Your customer service on the phone is poor at best and the girl I spoke to represents that - you must have given her no training. When you call for an explanation, It seems everyone's job is to put you on hold and forward the call to another person so they can pass the responsibility - where you sit on hold for 30 to 40 minutes each time. I kept my items in this storage facility for 7 years, unfortunately with the price increase I had to vacate. Aside from some termite damage on some of my boxes (did not affect items in boxes). The Manager offered to walk around the lot and point out the available spaces and gave me a map with prices on it to compare. Needless to say I rented a covered space. So nice.
