The kid working the desk with the nose ring, half-painted fingernails etc. was more interested in whatever his text messages were than checking out customers. Absolutely ridiculous to have someone pick up their phone and start typing while a customer is standing there in the middle of a transaction. This childish employee yawned multiple times while speaking to me, picked up and dropped his phone over and over, had a ridiculous attitude and tone for no reason, and was as utterly unprofessional as I could imagine. Had I not feared being charged for an unclaimed reservation I'd of cancelled my truck rental and taken my business elsewhere.ADAM K.

We interacted with 2 employees when we dropped of our trailer on the morning of May 8, at around 9:45 am. The first female employee we interacted with was very rude and impatient when we asked for direction. We weren't asking her to move our trailer, we were going to put it away and were just asking where we should put it. When we asked her a simple question of where we should drop the trailer, she looked at us and said something that we could not hear and then promptly walked inside. We unhooked the trailer ourselves and were pushing it out of the way when a very helpful male employee came over and took care of the trailer for us and let us know we were all set. The second employee is the only reason you didn't get 1 star.Troy L.

The truck we rented was a hunk of junk with high miles on it. It was very dirty on the inside of the cab. If we had to move cross country in this I would have never rented it. My hands were even sticky after driving in it.STEPHEN S.

Employees were rude and verbally aggressive to all customers waiting for service during my visit. Waited inside with other customers for approximately 5 mins before an employee came inside the store . 2 Employees ( 1 older male and 1 female) had bad, uncaring and annoyed dispositions. It was clear they didn't like their job or want to be working that day. No greetings and no smiles- all attitude. Very unacceptable. Uhaul should not employee unpleasant individuals. As a behavioral specialist and mental health therapist It was clear this is their normal disposition and interaction with customers as they were not alarmed or aware of their behavior. It's all about the people. Of the four people I interacted with, only one gave a damn about providing marginal customer service or better, and he only pointed me to the direction of someone who needed to finish reading his text book before acknowledging that I was standing right in front of him...waiting...MICHAEL D.
This location was lacking in customer service, and lacking in the necessary supplies. I had to go to another U-Haul location on the night before the rental in order to get a ball for my hitch. Everytime I come to this location, the staff never greets any of the customers. Even if there’s a short wait (when they are not with customers) nobody says they’ll be with you in a moment or even acknowledges you’re standing there. The transactions at the counter are always very monotone and awkward. Yesterday I was there because I had a reservation for a storage unit. The unit I was assigned was half open and still had items in there. I was assigned a new unit and luckily that one was empty. No apology at the counter. Just a new sheet of paper with my new unit number. The staff is worse than the workers at the post office. The people at UHaul didn't use the gift certificate I had to pay and instead used my card, but I had already prepaid or at least paid something ahead of time so I just lost that money plus a ton more from my card. I rented a utility trailer. Everything went fine with the transaction. All the personnel from pickup to return were helpful. The trailer worked fine, although I had forgotten how much any trailer could affect the gas mileage of my vehicle.MAX W.
I was extremely frustrated over the weekend when I tried to extend my rental. I called numerous times only to get a message stating that all circuits were busy. I then tried extending on U-Haul.com and also had issues. I then called on Monday morning and on two occasions set on hold for over 20 minutes and was never able to get through. When I tried to extend on the website Monday, I was able to get onto the sight but it wanted me to complete a whole nee reservation with pick up times and everything. The customer service has drastically declined. I typically use this location 3-4 times a year for business or personal. I've seen the care and professional attitude deteriorate year by year. Being that UHaul has very limited competition it's not surprising the emphasis for customer service is apparently low.ROD S.

Told that my access was 24/7( Posted on the gate). Get up their after hours in freezing weather and had no access. My vehicle was inside so I had to leave there walking. You haul customer service( While I was freezing) Would not Grant my access until they somehow contacted the general manager of the u-haul location where my vehicle was. Otherwise I was going to have to wait until 5:00 a.m. when he came in. This turned in to about a 2 hour ordeal when I was finally granted a pass cold that would let me into the storage. I only had my trailer parked there for about 3 months but on multiple occasions I arrived to find someone else’s items all over my parking space. There had to be moved before I could access my trailer. What made me cancel the space was when my trailer was vandalized and locks cut. The last time I was there, the main drive to the units had a fair amount of broken glass on the ground. This should have been dealt with immediately. I really enjoyed having somewhere to hold my things for a year while downsizing. Before moving my things in storage the unit was clean. My unit was easily accessible even with a huge truck.
