What is very frustrating is that I was unable to contact the location by phone, during business hours. Whichever number I dialed went directly to the Uhaul helpline, which was estimated to be 30 minute wait. I had a simple, location specific question and wasted at least 30 minutes either on hold or combing through the Uhaul site to find a workaround. I eventually just gave up, since the only alternative was to drive to the location and talk to them in person which wasn't practical.JAMES E.

Good service and polite employees would be a great start. I used this location a few times. I would like to be able to pick up a trailer in less than 10 minutes. I completed everything online and it still took me 45+ minutes before I could be on my way. This is not the only location I have had issues with.Ricardo B.

If you're going to have the phone check out and in then pay attention to the comments. My van had trash in it when I checked out so I made a comment & uploaded a picture. I said it needed cleaning when I brought it back because it was dirty when I got it. I ended up being charged the $25 fee and disputed it before finalizing the return, but was still charged. So now I'm wasting my time trying to get a refund of the fee.John D.

We were rented an unreliable vehicle to travel 1200 miles. Luckily it broke down the day before we had to leave and not after we were on the road. Haley was accommodating afterward but the issues were out of her control.DAUSS M.
The last 2-3 yrs, the crew here have been very friendly, helpful to me. So far I enjoy coming to this depot to recon equipment and their moving supplies. The equipment I have been supplied has been very good condition too. They are a major hub not only in central Indiana but also this region, and with plans to expand services/equipment in 2022 on newly acquired adjacent property. They are very busy people here so sometimes waiting is needed for your turn, and when they are being overwhelmed their responses may seem a bit terse. Hey they're human too you know. In order to not tie up their in person customer help time on phone calls during busy times, most all calls go to a central center where specific questions about some things at this depot don't get answered. So then it's time for a visit. I feel the people here make U-Haul company look very good.GEORGE C.

The three employees were behind the counter with their eyes down as I entered. The two African Americans never looked up from their phones as I entered. "If they did, i didnt catch it. The heavy set Caucasian guy briefly looked up and made eye contact with me so I walked over to him. He less than kindly asked for my info, I gave it, he sort of rudely, as if I were unable to make my own decisions said, "A 2 wheel dolly would have been just fine". Which would have been less money for you so I don't understand his position there. I explained I was picking up a car that I had never seen so I didn't trust a 2 wheel. We went back and he flipped the ball on my receiver for me so I had the height I needed. He got me hooked up and we checked the lights. The drivers side running taillight did not work. The drivers side brake light lit up but not the running light. He acted like he didnt see it as he was telling me to hit the brakes and all. I told him it was out and he said aw itll be fine you wont get pulled over... So thats not cool but i drove illegally at night with your trailer. The departure was much better than my arrival. The whole atmosphere in that store when I walked in was negative. At least 2 out of the 3 should have had eyes on my and waiting when I opened the door. "There were no other customers in the store at all at that time" I want a free car hauler rental in exchange for this bad experience and I'll rent it from the same location due to you only stocking it there. Hopefully Mt next experience will be better.CHARLES P.

Well, I had a incident to occur with my veh(2013 BMW528I) on the premises whereas my vehicle was Vandalized my rear windshield was Broken by someone. So, I made a Police Report w/IPD, to investigate this situation. I told the front office about this MATTER. So, I had to remove my vehicle from the premises, because I was notified that all items stored outside would have to be removed before the expiration date. So, I was really upset about that incident. Upon entering the facility the staff did not greet me. They looked very annoyed and unwilling to help me. It seemed that I was inconveniencing them to reserve a storage unit. I even spoke up and asked them what was wrong and why they seemed so pissy and they complained about having to work and it being hot.. which it was hot but you should still be friendly and do your job.Madeline C. | First Impressions
