I had to ask for a step stool to get into the truck and fortunately had a two step stool at home I used the remainder of the time - not everyone has e capacity to get into a trick so would have been nice to have them offer it or have a step on the trucks plus a liability to you for someone falling or injuring their knees getting I and out of the vehicle - also the gas price is outrageous and as someone who doesn't normally drive a truck pulling into a gas station was too scary for me -the staff at Castleton when ordering, picking up and dropping off were great - just have them offer a step stool to people please

When I walked in there was 2 men working behind the counter. One man was with a customer and the other man was eating a full meal consisting of chinese food, fried rice, etc and a drink. This is unacceptable when helping customers. The same man while checking me out was texting on his phone in between me signing the credit card screen, etc. This is unacceptable. The same man let me stand in line for 5 minutes when I first came in without offering to assist me. He was not on break or lunch. When I received the keys to the truck, he did not tell me how to operate the truck, did not show me where my truck was located, etc. The a/c in the truck did not work. When I returned the truck, the same man tried to charge me for gas and argued with me about it even though he was wrong after going back and rechecking the truck. I had taken pictures of the gas hand before I handed over the keys. The check in people got it wrong and wrote it wrong on the paper. The same man wanted to take a photo of my drivers license with his personal cell phone to upload into the system. This is unacceptable and should not be a policy by Uhaul to allow an employee to do this. Overall this uhaul is a terrible location to rent a truck from. He didn't even apologize for making the error and accusing me of not putting gas back in the truck. I will never go back to this location if I need a truck again.

The truck i had was loose in the front end- would hit a bump and could feel wobble in steering wheel - although the truck tracked well no pull right or left. A hard brake truck and trailer handled excellent. The passenger side tire hold down on the trailer kept slipping off. I'd reset at all stops (4). When i dropped equipment off on Saturday the dealer said they'd send a email for return. I haven't received as yet. Thank you very much to ANO and Bayle. Both very helpful

It took a long time to get approved for my uhaul. It ended up wasting valuable time at the uhaul location that forced me to not move everything because of the time frame.

The tire light with a message when I turned the engine on in the truck. I could not do the share check-in due to a problem on u hauls end. I had to cancel my online reservation and start over at the desk which was time consuming.

All staff were exceptionally helpful. The guy who connected the trailer was outstanding and I appreciate his help. Counter woman was fantastic! I asked their names but was in a hurry and didn't write them down. I am frustrated that I can't put them in this note because I thought (at the time) I would want to mention nothin this note...(if I got a survey). (I had a stroke two years ago and my name recollection was affected)

Terrible service. I reserved a truck for 10 am on 6/05/21. When I went to pick up the truck the worker tells me the truck is not available in fact it's not available until later in the day at 1pm. Keep in mind I had to be somewhere to use the Uhual by 10:30 am. Anyways I come back to pick up the truck at 1 pm and I was told my account has a hold on it due to some outstanding change on my account and Uhual is not allowed to rent the truck out to me. They give me customer service numbe to call. I call the number to only discover I have a no outstanding charge and they tell me they're not sure why I had a hold on my account. I go back to get the truck. I get the truck but now it's 1:30 pm. I was supposed to be somewhere with the truck by 1:30. That's not even the worst part I still had to pay to use the truck. I received a $50 credit to my account but still had to pay to use the truck. For my time and the inconvenience of me having to reschedule and come back three times to get the truck should've been more than enough reason to get the truck for free. Frustrated with you guys service and this isn't the first time I've had this happen.

I appreciated the fact that you answered the phone and didn't let it roll over to the corporate reservation system, the lady was fast friendly and efficient, at pick up time I was in and out in 5 minutes. From now on I will only rent from your place.

The representatives behind the counter had a very clear set of rolls. Unfortunately, it was very obvious who was just an associate and who was the manager. The manager unfortunately had to micromanage the associates which was a significant time waster.

After we struggled with an ignition lock that wouldn't work right, taking a lot of time to try and start the truck, we were told by the guy when we returned it... “oh, we knew it did that” Sending out faulty equipment knowing the renter will have issues is absolutely unforgivable.

Reservation was inexplicably cancelled. Although there were 4 of the exact type of trailer I needed on the lot, the Uhaul representative onsite wouldn't/refused to help me. While standing in front of him, I made another reservation. I don't understand why he could not have done that. Then, of the 4 trailers, 3 were defective, so our 'experience' ended up taking a couple hours due to lack of customer service.

The “local trucks” are junk. The exterior of the truck was beat up on all sides. The self check in system on the app did not work. I could log in but the app would freeze when I click on the check in button to begin the process.

I tried for 5 days to find out if I could park my car overnight at this location and got no responses (you can). I tried calling local number, sat on hold with 1-800 # for 30 minutes to have them try direct contact and asking them to email or call me and nothing worked. My cargo van windshield was very dirty, it pulled to the right, and within 20 miles a warning popped up to service the tire monitor system (luckily it was just the monitor and not the tires). I discovered when I went to fill it up with gas that it took E85 gas so I had to drive out of my way to find that. When I returned the van I tried to mention these things but attendant was very rude and even said, I don't mean to be rude but you had roadside assistance if you were concerned. Also, I asked for my receipt to be emailed to me and I still have not received it.

Service your vehicles. I received a truck with the check engine, check tires and trailer lights on; the gas cap was also missing. This was a actually the second truck I received, the first wasn't checked in properly (gas gauge and mileage were way off from what the paperwork stated). Don't charge me for 2 gallons on an improperly eyeballed gas gauge (I drove 9 miles and had added a gallon, so it cost me a total of 3 gallons of gas for 9 miles). It would make most sense to have customers return the vehicles full and not eyeballing the gauges. Employees should also follow Covid masking protocol per county standards, while the standards are still in place. Of the 3 employees behind the desk, one employee was wearing hers properly, one employee had his mask on his chin and one employee didn't have a mask at all. We will not be renting from you again.

I left a personal item in the truck when I checked it it. By the time I got home, I had a voice mail sating the item was at the check in desk I could pick it up. Great customer service. I would recommend that location and staff to anyone interested in renting a vehicle.

I'm still waiting for a call regarding the unit that I rented. I disputed the charges. The trucks AC did not work for most of the day and it was 90 degrees out, the radio did not work, couldn't get the door to come down when trying to take pictures to return it and had to have my husband drive 30 minutes one way at 10pm at night to help me. The rate I was quoted when I rented it was much less then when I picked the unit up and I was pretty spot on with the mileage. Very unhappy!!! I will be disputing the charges with my bank!

Me and my 3 yr old son had an altercation with a female staff member.... VERY unprofessional & when talking to manager she was unprofessional as well.... this store is ran by a bunch of young uneducated females! If our stuff was not already in storage.... I would not use this location

First day using my storage unit, they assigned me one that had items in it. The unit I was reassigned would not align with the lock part so I couldn’t use the lock I purchased, in the correct spot. Customer service is horrible everytime. Doesn’t matter if I come in for boxes or something else.. there’s no greeting. They ignore you even when they are not with a customer. They NEVER answer the phone. Interactions are very boring and monotone. A very unhappy staff. Will not be using this facility again.

Everytime I come to this location, the staff never greets any of the customers. Even if there’s a short wait (when they are not with customers) nobody says they’ll be with you in a moment or even acknowledges you’re standing there. The transactions at the counter are always very monotone and awkward. Yesterday I was there because I had a reservation for a storage unit. The unit I was assigned was half open and still had items in there. I was assigned a new unit and luckily that one was empty. No apology at the counter. Just a new sheet of paper with my new unit number. The staff is worse than the workers at the post office. I come to this location often and once I am done using my storage unit, I’m most likely going elsewhere.

Told that my access was 24/7( Posted on the gate). Get up their after hours in freezing weather and had no access. My vehicle was inside so I had to leave there walking. You haul customer service( While I was freezing) Would not Grant my access until they somehow contacted the general manager of the u-haul location where my vehicle was. Otherwise I was going to have to wait until 5:00 a.m. when he came in. This turned in to about a 2 hour ordeal when I was finally granted a pass cold that would let me into the storage. The passcode that I originally created would not work at all. I had to walk all night just to stay warm until this FINALLY happened!

I only had my trailer parked there for about 3 months but on multiple occasions I arrived to find someone else’s items all over my parking space. There had to be moved before I could access my trailer. What made me cancel the space was when my trailer was vandalized and locks cut. No trust in the level of security here or respect for people’s property.

The last time I was there, the main drive to the units had a fair amount of broken glass on the ground. This should have been dealt with immediately. Secondly, although it is not your policy, I think when a renter closes out a unit, the monthly prorated rent should be returned. Thanks.

I really enjoyed having somewhere to hold my things for a year while downsizing. Before moving my things in storage the unit was clean. My unit was easily accessible even with a huge truck. If you don't have a lock they can provide you with one at a discount with the purchase of the storage unit. Great Experience.
