I completed check-in online in advance of the truck rental day. So, my transaction time in the store was less than 5 minutes. Unfortunately, I had to wait a half hour for the person in front of me in line. I wish there was a kiosk available that I could just go and confirm my details and then get my key and walk out.Matthew W.
I was doing 24 seven pick up before the store opened and your app wasn't working correctly I spent an hour and 23 minutes on the phone the first representative she was excellent went above and beyond but then I spoke to a supervisor called Randi Hitt and she was very rude and condescending not only to me but also to my wife because she called my wife 7 o'clock in the morning to get a verification which I thought was unnecessary because you already had my information both Joe Morton and Dan Gnapo Ed store 813-0284 awesome they kind of turned my bad experience around because after talking to Randy hitt I was not ever going to rent from U-Haul or recommend it but Joe and Dan kind of changed my mind because their customer service was above and beyond also but as I have mentioned before one bad apple could really spoil the whole bunch this woman Randy hit does not deserve to be in a supervisor position she did not conduct her self professionally like I said with me nor my wife very disappointing but otherwise all the other staff like I said went above and beyondAlfred B.

Dan always goes the extra mile to make sure that the equipment is clean, safe, and available on time. I prefer to go to Cedar Brook when renting equipment because it's so well run and organized. My only complaint is that the U-Haul system forces customers to return equipment to other sites that are sometimes inconvenient for our scheduling.David S.

The truck was brand new, but someone definitely smoked in it. I know that's hard to get out. The guys taking care of me were courteous and helpful. Charging per mile on top of all the other charges is totally ridiculous! That $19.95 rental that u advertise turned into a bill over $70.00!Juliet L.

Where should I start? The good, you found a truck. The regional rep, was helpful when the store rep wasn't. Thank you regional dispatch. The bad; the truck you found was 30min in the wrong direction. This added to my milage and time. The store rep at pick up was the worse person I've had to deal with. His lack of empathy, or slightest bit of knowledge, or even a tiny bit willingness to explore a solution was exasperating. Please let him know that I solved the problem myself, despite his unwillingness to help, shitty customer service, and I returned the truck as promised. I wish he was there in the morning when I dropped off, as I wanted to say "Fuck you asshole." (Sorry, but you get the point) Your app is worthless. I couldn't check out, and couldn't check in. My order was canceled several times, and lost from the system. This put me further down the line, during a time when availability wasn't great. Military personnel; we don't have the time or patience to deal with stupid shit. We solve problem, and make shit happen. Some of us DO NOT HAVE "CURRENT" DRIVER'S LICENSES. My license has been expired for 2yrs, but the state of PA issues a military exemption card. This card, my license, and my military ID are MY PROOF of residency and motor vehicle operator status. Please pass this on to your local sales reps. One last thought; if you need help moving trucks, I'm free, HMU.Scott R.

Whole rental experience prior to arriving at Cedar Brook was a shitshow. Confirmed for a 17' truck in Southampton originally - website never clues you in to the fact that they only have trailers. The next day I get an email that I am confirmed for a 17' truck in Maple Shade - 10 additional miles each way...doubling my mileage costs. Phone call to 'rental manager' asking for a break on mileage or drop in mileage cost due to change-nope. So next day I wake up and start driving to Maple Shade and get an email that I am now confirmed in Pennsauken...an additional 10 miles further than the Maple Shade location. Now it is just costing me more to drive the truck from pickup to my house than it is to rent. More phone calls. Pennsauken person was really helpful and was a welcomed change but sent me to Rout 38 in Hainesport or something for the 20' truck they have on hand. I get there and guess what- they do not have a 20' truck. Should have guessed.... But they had seen the reservation come up in there system, knew it was wrong from the get go and were actually waiting for me to arrive. They directed me to Cedar Brook in Berlin on 73. where they assured me the 20' truck was waiting. Doubtful but hopeful I drove to Berlin and the quest was over. The truck was there, the clerk was quick and helpful and even lowered the mileage cost to the next lower bracket. So overall, if I was renting again I would really nail down the information and talk to a person instead of reserving online. It was a frustrating nightmare until it was all figured out. I would recommend Cedar Brook location to someone but not uhaul in general. Kudos to Cedar Brook. Seven thumbs down to uhaul in general including customer service.Christopher W.

I originally had my reservation set for the Clementon location but they didn't have the equipment I reserved so I had to travel all the way to Berlin to get my equipment and then had to bring it back all the way to Berlin way out of my way or I would have been charged almost 200$ More.Kara S.

The truck was dirty, the A/C did not work, the floor boards got extremely hot (i took my shoes off and needed to put them back on because the floor was burning my feet). My phone overheated sitting in the cup holder which also got very hot. There was a piece of plastic that had come out of the rubber edging right next to the gas peddle that I repaired because it was cutting into my leg. I have used U-Haul many times in the past, but this was, by far, the worst truck I have ever rented.Karen D.

I had to drive an hour to pick up the truck. I rented it five minutes from where I needed it. The rental agent was very smug and kept telling me that people have to drive two plus hours to pick up the truck sometimes. They couldn't even put the hand truck in the truck. Your platform and centralized customer support is atrocious. After reserving a cargo van at a nearby location I went online to facilitate my reservation. When I finished it told me I had to pick up the van at another location further away. When I texted online customer support they directed me to a toll free number, where I waited 15 minutes without success. I arrived in heavy rainfall, and did not know if I would have to walk around outside.No one else was in the showroom, so the clerk had plenty of time to work with me. I needed a lot of info, because I never rented a stall before, and was somewhat green. My 91 year old mother, could no longer live by herself, ans my sisters had moved out of state. In the process of selling her house, I had a lot of personal property to sell of dispose of. She thought she would have been going into a senior home, but that would not work well because of her health. The little bit that she would have taken to the nursing home, is the last items before the sale is done. I have no more room in my home, and neither does the family. She wants us all to have her possessions to remind us of her. It is a lot of work, but I must take care of her myself. We rented a 5'X10'X10', in the climate control section. The salesman shower me the sizes of the storage units, the items that I would need to make the move, and education me on all the new agenda. I think we should be able to fit it all, and other family members will have a need for what she owns in the unit. I am happy that all has turned out well, you guys are great.
