MICHAEL WI do business with U-Haul. I’m a fairly regular basis and have for many many years. And only that, but I currently rent one of your storage units at a nearby facility.. In spite of all of this when I walked in your facility and I needed to rent a trailer quickly, but someone behind the counter asked me all the same questions that someone would’ve asked if you’ve never done business with me at all. In spite of the fact that I represent him with my ID and my Card for payment. I’m complaining because I was under a time crunch I needed to get the trailer out quickly,. In spite of our current connection and my willingness to comply It took 45 minutes.
BILLY WU-Haul's process of self-checkout with the app is very poor customer service. I felt like an employee, but wasn't getting paid to do the job. Taking all the pictures and answering all the questions and having to expose privacy on my phone in using my location is absolutely a breach of privacy and a job your employees should be doing. What am I paying you for?

KASSIDY AVery tight, with a lot of equipment and vehicle's. Store manager lacks common courtesy, please and thank you. Dropped off trailer in return area, she said back it up to the pick up area. This is not easy since it is very tight and around a corner. After i did so, she seemed surprised that i hopped out of my truck, instead of continuing to adjust the placement of the trailer in just the right spot to avoid having to physically move it her self. The attendant that hooked me up was excellent and safety conscious, she should be in management training.

VERONICA CCheck in agent Terrese provided excellent customer service! Only challenge was checking in return vehicle after hours but I was able to contact after hours number and agent walked me through it as the bar code would not scan for me during the process.

SELENA PI scheduled the truck over a week in advance. The day before I was to pick it up, I was informed that the pickup location was changed, to a location further away, and also with major construction on the road to it. This made it much more difficult to pick up the truck. I do not see why they could not move the truck to the location that I had previously requested. Upon picking up the truck, the agent requested a signed lease agreement for the apartment I am living in. This was never mentioned while I was filling out the online form for the reservation. I have a Utah Drivers License, but am living in Houston for 18 months while on a mission for my Church. I told her that I was helping another missionary move and that I was going to leave my car at the pickup location while I used the truck. She finally agreed to allow me to use the truck but did not seem too happy about it. Needless to say, I was quite disappointed with the pickup process.

NIKO BThey really do take care of their customers. I had a long day of moving 4 bedrooms and 2 livings rooms worth of stuff from a third floor apt. Been awake 28 hours packing and moving. I was offered water and a comfy place to sit while my ride arrived. Best customer service I’ve come across in years. Thank yall

RICHARD AI had reserved a appliance dolly 1 week in advance when I reserved the truck. When I went to pickup the truck, they said they were out of appliance dolly's.

PAUL LNo one was at the counter, I had to wait 10 minutes for someone to show up and by the time they got me checked in it was 20 minutes past my rental start time.
NICKOLAS GThe people at this location are friendly and competent. However, there was only one person at the counter, and I had to wait about 20 minutes in line to pick up a reservation. When I returned the trailer, it could not have been easier. There was a guy in the yard right there to help and check me in.

LOVETTE MHORRIBLE experience!!!!! Lady manager at this place was super rude and made me feel like I was doing something wrong. I booked for 3 days and my reservation was somehow changed for 1 day. When I got to the store I was told by this lady that Uhaul does not rent trucks for more than a day. I told her to hold off on doing anything with my reservation so I could call customer support for help. I did and the person on the phone changed my reservation back to 3 days I explained what the store people had mentioned and even offered to move locations if easier. But the phone person said it was an easy fix and requested I go back to the store counter so they could check on my reservation and see the update. When I went to inform the store customer service person the manager lady got upset and said that I went over her head and that now other people were not going to have a truck to rent. I told her not my problem, I originally requested three days and the Uhal site said it was okay so how was I supposed to know. She argued as much as possible (for about 15 minutes) but I did not budge. She was tring to convince me that it needed to be changed to one day. I told her if I was wrong then its okay to fix but if not then I needed those three days. When I was walking away from the customer service desk she said, "This is why America is the way it is". Referring to me. This is SUPER offensive (Since I am Latino) and in order to avoid any more confrontation with this crazy person/store manager lady, I ignored her comment and kept walking. Im am VERY disappointed there are people working at this Uhaul store who do not care about customer service. Not once was I rude or raised my voice, instead I was trying to understand but it just seemed like these people were just upset they were not getting their way and they took it out on me verbally. It was stressful for me and my senior citizen parents who were present. I dont ever plan on going to that store ever again because of fear of another confrontation like that. Side note: I paid for a hand truck but there wasnt one provided in the truck. I did not go back into the store to avoid another fight. Not fair too.
Uki NFor months the Camera feature has not worked on the U-Haul app. Which means I cannot scan my drivers license or take photos of the van. I mention this every time I rent from U-Haul. The staff acknowledges the issue does occur - but nothing seems to change. As I drove away, I noticed the interior windshield was so smudged that driving was tricky, and the interior cab floor was dirty. This location is excellent and I’ve never experienced dirty equipment before. If that camera app had functioned I could have submitted images as requested on the email link provided.
