JASON CI got the cargo vane with much less fuel on it and the costumers service there didn't want to know about it when I asked him what have to be done for any sort of compensation. He just said that's other customer is going to be lucky enough to have fuel already and he can't do anything about it. Then when I asked what about it if I didn't bring the vehicle on fuel level where I took it he said I will be charged alot more then on gas station. I dont see that very appropriate like is one way street, only his way.

TROY LSweep the trailer Tail lights didn’t work. Tail light pin on 4 pin connecter of the trailer broke off as we were trying to hook the car up. It was bitterly cold and so I just took the trailer as is. Maybe a heated location to make quick repairs in cold weather.

JOHN MThe clamp to secure the large appliance dolly is right against the bag of blankets and makes it very hard to get it in place to tighten the clamp properly. After a struggle I got it secured - the bag of blankets wouldn't move to make it easier. Also, I was told to bring the vehicle back with 1/4 tank of gas - but the gauge was below 1/4 when I got it. I returned the vehicle with probably a little more than 1/4 tank but the employee I spoke with when I returned the vehicle didn't seem to care that they rented me a vehicle with less than the required 1/4 tank!

The only feedback I could give would be that we had to ask on multiple occasions for the automatic doors leading into the facility to be unlocked. I completely understand that the staff were busy but when you are trying to move things in and out of the storage facility in a timely manner, its a bit inconvenient to have the automatic doors locked. Other than that small hiccup a few times everything else was fantastic. The staff were polite and accommodating. Storage facility was clean and all 3 trucks we rented were all clean and in good working order!

I most definitely will not be recommending your services to others… jn fact I caution against it to every person I encounter. If I had the financial means this would’ve been pursued further on a legal basis but luckily for you I don’t. You may want to have a chat with your Charlottetown PEI employees regarding legal rights of storage locker renters.

This forced me to make two trips, greatly inflating my original price quote. Because of this, I will never use your services again, nor would I ever recommend "Uhaul" services to anyone.

This caused a family member to show up when I was with professional movers at MY unit and cause a scene which almost needed police intervention. This info was given out by either Brandy or Kyle,as they know both myself and the other party from previous unit rentals during moves. To say this was unprofessional is and understatement. Also knowing Kyle has a sexual assault history with charges and is working as/in a manager position like he claims is very u settling esp when it's public knowledge. The stress caused by this was very unfortunate and unexpected due to your staff giving out my personal info. I'd like to know what compensation or remedy for this situation I was put in is going to be. You have my contact information, I await your reply.

And the second one is to let custumers go through the building from the back to the front instand of having to have to walk around the building. When you are tired it's a lot. I had a key break in a lock, ice buildup, snow getting into my locker due to broken weather striping to name a few issues. Each time I tried to speak with staff I was met with rude attitude and basically treated like I was a pain for interrupting their day. Ultimately, I decided to move out because of the treatment and that fact that I was locked out of my locker for 2 weeks after being 2 days late on my rent. I truly hope others don’t experience the nightmare I had.

Took it back and they told me it was just new and needed to be opened and closed a few time. Then to only find out when unloading storage lock wouldn’t open again and I went to complain again only to be handed a torch. They said it was frozen due to the weather. It had nothing to do with it being frozen it was the lock it’s self that should have been replaced the first day I bought it.

There was a cotton mattress protector on it, and the mattress itself was fine. But water/dampness came from somewhere. Charlottetown PE by far was the worst for storage. Lost all my furniture because of poor construction on the rear of the building it flooded . I can honestly say that I will never use uhaul again for storage. Also wherever I go I will tell people about my experience especially people that I consider to be my friends. I received no compensation at all. One young guy on the service desk was very ignorant but he was very smart no people skills Looing into a lawyer now and especially the media.

The employee I spoke with on the phone (some where in the USA) said everything was good for my reservation, however once I arrived I actually had no unit that I reserved. Not sure how that blunder happened but it was a huge mistake on uhauls part. Fortunately the staff took care of me.
Casey C | First ImpressionsI booked a 5x10 room online that was advertised for a 1- 2 bedroom house up to 1200. My house is 2 bdrm and 950sq ft and there was no chance it would fit. I ended up upgrading last minute to a 10x10 after staff agreed the 5x10 wouldn't suit and denied that this room is advertised to hold that amount even after I was able to show them the online posting. The paper pamphlet I was given at check in stated at 10x10 room was $134, but I later found myself charged for $169. Worst of all, it still didn't fit the things from my house. I've had to store things at 2 other friends and family locations. I felt like uhaul bait and switched me at least twice. When I checked online for access hours I found access hours to be 5am to 10pm. While I was moving things into my unit I was told they close at 8 and I had to leave. When I asked about the 10pm close I was told that only applies to outdoor units and my indoor unit closes at 8. Why was I given an access code for the building if it closes and I'm not allowed in again? This issue caused me to take a 1/2 full cargo truck back to my house 30 km away, and make a second trip in the following day.. doubling my milage and my expense. Essentially every important advertised feature of the unit was unclear or downright misleading. After spending $600 on boxes, a truck and a room I'm thoroughly disappointed and will be leaving a particularly harsh review on Google as soon as I'm able to get the chance to do so. My issue is not with your hours, policy, or prices.. my issue is that none of these things were clear when booking and in a crunch at moving time I had NO choice but to use your services and pay whatever you asked, and that felt awful. I would not recommend uhaul to anyone and will be doing research into other options for my next move.

The cheaply made and poorly designed locks froze solid with ice every time it slipped below freezing and there was a precipitation, necessitating a trip to the office to get a propane torch to blast the lock with. . 2. The poorly designed lot was so crammed full of Uhaul vehicles and trailers that most times you tried to access your locker unit, something was blocking your way and you either had to ask them to move it or you had to park away from it and squeeze by the vehicles. I needed weekly access to my locker and due to these two factors, I left. .

Returning a few weeks later and there was a different lady at the counter. She was not cheerful she was actually rude, when all I needed was info on a rental truck to use on a round trip to Ontario. We ended up using a different rental company mostly because of her poor attitude. More than once but less then 5 times when arriving to access my storage unit there was a car parked in front of the area used to load or unload your vehicle yet no one in the actual facility. It was the same car each time which leads me to believe it was the people living above the facility using that area as a parking space. Very frustrating. Everything else was top notch.
