Trailer was not swept out...only takes a minute with a broom....also ring missing for tie down so had to adjust entire load after realizing it was broken.

Booked truck online, said no truck available to pick up at 9 am at capital drive location. Booked out of milton convenience location. Get to location for 9 and tried to pick up truck through phone and tells me I'm at the wrong location. So had to drive to capital drive location and pick up there where online it wouldn't pick 9 am there

I had not rented a truck for several years amd found the new ruquirements (dur to COVID 19( were a bit confusing. A short written handout, outlining the step by step process would have been mot helpful. Staff at this lcation are very knowledgeable and helpful.
During my rental everything was expected to be done through the U-Haul app.This app is not dependable. I still had to go inside and see the attendant for information . Which at the time appeared to be only one and was outside helping another customer. This created a problem for everyone involved. At this location my attendant was ran off his feet with running outside to fill propane, answering phones, attending the line that formed while outside for service. This created delays and frustration for myself, those in line and my attendant. The second attendant apparently decided she would finish her office side of things before seeing to the line. She said as much to him and the line of customers waiting. My truck looked ready but the truck was not cleaned out of the broken glass, crayons, small broken items and dirt which should been swept away before renting to the next customer. When returning the vehicle the App repeatedly said the problem was on their end and I would have to go back inside for the return. I returned the vehicle to the same attendant and told him the truck was not clean out when I received it. He smiled and asked if the inside of the truck appeared clean? I said yes and he then took a breath and apologized for it was been a very busy few days. I recommend you have more staff during the week, improving your waiting area and work on improving your U-Haul app. (Rented my truck for 10 am on a Friday)

we booked for local pickup in Summerside PEI got a call 24hrs in advance not available and we needed to drive 50 miles each way to pick up. (expensive when driving a motor home) - this is poor service - unit was rusty in all areas. hard to un-winch tiedowns and remove hitch from vehicle. Lombards were good used spray on oil to be able to remove.
The person who served me was rude and not helpful at all. Even though the truck was good and the online services were good, his horrible customer service ruined the experience. This staff person needs to learn how to communicate with customers in a polite and courteous manner. If I was his manager I would consider firing him.
First time moving my own stuff and while stressful, renting the truck was super easy and the staff were very helpful.

When doing truck inspections, make sure to check the cargo area as there was a small hole in the roof of the truck I used and rain dripped through onto my possessions. Nothing was damaged, but it could have been worse. Staff at this location is excellent and very accommodating!
The operations of this location are as usual and no complaints about anything except the customer service. I have moved 5 times in the last few years and EVERY time I experience crankiness, rudeness, extra stress. This was either myself or witnessing other customers experience while waiting in line. I get a vibe that there is a â€œthis is the only moving truck company in Charlottetown so we don't give a fuckâ€ mentality. This is certainly not all the employees, but usually an older woman making people uncomfortable. I work a very stressful job and I would never make clients feel uneasy while spending money at an establishment. Please try to get some training done, especially in dealing with customers who do not speak English well, since I've witnessed an employee being frustrated that someone had a hard time understanding English. Next time I rent a moving truck and I see this bullshit happening...... I'll be bringing it to social media. Customer service was extremely bad. The lady at the counter was yelling and basically calling me a liar. A customer came up to me and said wow I can't believe this lady is talking to you like this.
Very poor service , Very unfriendly manager she was rude and very unhelpful! Miss quoted my rental cost And left me very pissed off !
Truck ignition cylinder was very worn out, at times, took a couple minutes of jiggling to get the key to turn. Staff at location tried to tell me this was a 'security feature' and it was suppose to do that. A straight up lie. The U Haul app is absolute garbage at this point, tried 8+ times to scan or take a picture of my license, with no luck. uhaul staff would not rent me the truck without scanning the license in my app. I had to leave the store and go home to get my phone to do 4 more attempts before it worked, delaying my time sensitive move. not very impressed.
I was blown away by the support I received from the local U Haul agent. Very friendly and helpful!
Really helpful staff and made sure I understood everything I had to sign and with equipment.
Please clean windshield inside and out.
