The Manager Amado Hernandez was one of the best manager I ever meet in the company. I think there should be some way to balance out the cost of rental. $87 from Coeur d'Alene Idaho to Citrus Heights then it was $440 to bring a trailer back from Citrus Heights to Coeur d'Alene. That is quite a spread. I'm happy with the stores and the service and the quality. The price made me want to ðŸ¤®Dominique F.

The online check in was a joke. It took 40 minutes to verify my identity and then they connected me to a chat where I had to re do the process. It would have been more simple and fast to check in with a employee. I rented the truck for 7 hours and I was in a hurry and wasted time with the online check in. I left my sisters phone in the van and the employees stole it. Called in told them we left it on the seat which we seen. They had one representative who lied on the phone then another who cursed at me when asking about the missing property. They gave me a number to a manager who didn't answer or have a voicemail. Although there is a box truck shortage in CA, Manager Andrew guaranteed a 15 ft truck would be available for me. I received the links that were to be used/followed. They are garbage. UHaul needs new IT people. Because even checking in online the day of pick up went side ways (I was going to pick the truck up via mobile app/online). I freaked out & went to the store and got Amando. I explained my concerns of showing up at midnight to get a truck when the online system has failed every inch of the way. I asked if it was possible to get the 15ft truck right then & there to be safe. At first there wasn't any trucks yet returned. I got more nervous as we were about an hr away from them closing. Tyler, another employee (was there each time I was there) stated he'd go check behind the building as some trucks had returned but hadn't been checked in. Amado assured me all would be fine, then reviewed my contract and asked a few additional questions. After explaining the situation he was able to give me a better rate - Thus saving me money. Tyler cleaned & prepped the truck then brought it around. I took the truck - it was in fact clean, the gas in the tank actually matched the paperwork (I'd seen some reviews where some said the opposite). My experience was honestly great. All of the staff were VERY helpful and compassionate about my move and how the whole week - relating to this move had gone wrong?! LOL UHaul on Auburn Blvd was the ONE solid, reliable thing that went right. I can't begin to explain the stress that left me when the guys made everything go right.Ryan P.
The pickup truck I rented was not clean, and had many dents that had not been stickered. The outgoing mileage was incorrect. A dolly was in the bed that I had not requested to rent. The next morning, when I went to load my personal belongings, I found an oily substance in the truck bed. This vehicle had clearly not been processed after the last rental. The inside of the windshield was filthy, with steaks and smudges, making it difficult to see thru. This is the second pickup I have rented here, and both have wreaked heavily of cigarette smoke. During a pandemic, I would expect the vehicles to be presented to renters in a much cleaner condition.Sonja T.
Truck left handle was missing. As a result, I fell off truck and scraped up my back. In significant pain to date. UHAUL paperwork shows storage access GATE hours as 5am to 10pm. Rented truck late in day, 2:00pm. Due to return truck and store items by 6:30pm on sat Oct 31,2020. Fell off truck which delayed return of truck and stopped to fill up gas to FULL status. Truck mileage was 56947 at UHAUL, returning mileage @7:42pm was 56953, BUT, we couldn't access the storage gate for entrance. We looked at our paperwork and receipt given to us by office and it states STORAGE ACCESS 5AM to 10PM. This was the deciding factor for closing out my current storage and moving to a closer storage facility. Unable to store my truck filled items in the unit and being told by staff that the area and facility deals with theft of gas and breaking into storage trucks, I drove the truck to my residence and secured it with a lock. I had to go to work at 3:30am Sunday morning and my vehicle was still parked at the UHAUL site, so I paid for a LYFT to take me to the UHAUL facility to pick my vehicle up, so I could go to work and reduce the possibility of theft. Also, I rented a truck earlier in the week for a ground unit that wasn't available. I paid for a truck that I couldn't use. Manager Andrew DID compensate me for this inconvenience. However, October 31, 2020 was a horrible, painful and stressful situation. I have left a storage facility to move to one of your facilities because of proximity and gate access, only to discover at night that the gate hours are no longer 5-10pm as your paperwork suggests. That was the most disgusting and terrible experience i have ever had with Uhaul. After. Moving all day with my truck, check under the driver seat to make sure i didnt srop anything through out the day only to find an OPENLY EXPOSED INJECTION NEEDLE. At any point during moving i could have reached underneath the seat and stabbed my hand with the end of the needle. This was absolutely deplorable and unaccepltable and will bever be returning to this location to rent a moving truck again.Christopher B.

Web-based check in had issues that delayed pickup of the vehicle. Vehicle exterior was very dirty, making it hard to identify and body damage. I was charged for 23 gallons of fuel even though I returned the vehicle with more gas than when I picked it up. Eventually I was refunded but a considerable amount of my time was wasted.George P.

When I went in to ask about it and get a different uhual the front desk ladies were completely rude.
