Don't lie to customers that trucks are not available when they are at multiple locations. We booked a 26' truck a month in a advance and we were told there were none in our area and several locations were checked. To then be forced into a 20' truck the night before our move. We also had to rent a trailer at a different location only for a 26' truck to be available at that lot. The customer service at that location had no idea why were told the 26' was not available. We were in a situation where we were selling and buying on the same day. We had to be out by Monday morning and were “homeless” until we made settlement on our new property later that afternoon. We had limited options in the final hour of our move and if our family and friends did not help us in a big way by housing a good portion of our belongings we would of had to leave it all behind. We then were forced to keep the 20' for additional time to go around and pick up our belongings from there various locations.

There was a whit girl on duty I didn't get there unti 2:30 pm but I did call her that I will be late when I got there she told me if I don't get the car back by 9 am the next day she will report the car stolen. I originally rented the truck for 24 hr . She was extremely rude and didn't care if I didn't take the truck today. She was on duty on 8/31 but I don't know if she worked the next day. The person who returned the truck on paperwork the name is Chrystal passaretti. I didn't finish all my moving and I would like to get a truck for free for few hrs since I paid full price and I only hade the truck for 4 hrs

The location was absolutely fine. U-Haul. Was not. Due to availability of my rental, U-Haul changed my pick up location and also my pick up time without notifying me in the slightest. This was a major issue as I was working with a tight schedule. I arrive at my 24-7 pick up about 30 minutes late and was notified that my reservation expired. Again, no warning, nothing. If I have a reservation for a specific time and the service you offer is 24-7 pick up...start my charges at the time of the res and let me pick it up whenever. Then I can't get anyone of the phone for 30 minutes so I'm forced to use the “live chat” app which takes FOREVER. The person tells me they will make a new reservation but I need a contact person. It's late at night and no one is answering their phones so she won't let me rent until she talks to someone. I finally get a buddy to pick up and he tells me that all the person from U-Haul did was say “you know the renter?” “Great” and hung up. That's it. That's why you held me up?! For that?! It was just such an agonizing experience. The site is convoluted and confusing, they can and will change your rental without warning and won't facilitate any help, regardless of how inconvenient they just made the situation, the pick up and drop off situations are needlessly lengthy, complicated and just annoying. I've worked in car rental for 5+ years and U-Haul should take a good look at how other companies do business, because your way sucks. TLDR: 10/10 on annoying. Would not recommend.

My complaint is regarding UHaul's practices as a whole - I specifically scheduled the pick up location to be where I have my storage unit. When I called, I was told this was no problem. A couple days later, I received an email saying the location and size of my rental truck had been changed without my approval. When I called to contest the change, I was given the run around and told there was nothing that could be done. After 3 different phone calls, the Schedule Dept at least provided me a reduced mileage rate. I understand that my move was over a holiday weekend and trucks may have been in higher than normal demand. BUT then, my father - who is moving this Thursday (middle of the week) - tells me the SAME THING just happened to him. If U-Haul can not guarantee locations or truck size, they need to be completely transparent about this. Waiting until days before a move - when the client can no longer reserve a truck elsewhere - to change the reservation is a shady business practice.

Even amidst the rain, the move in was great! The staff onsite was soo helpful and made the check in process beyond easy as he answered all my questions and provided great insight.

My unit was covered in mouse pee and poop and the staff told be it was my problem bc I didn’t have insurance in my unit. I payed $100 a month for 4 years for U-haul to keep my stuff safe and protected, why should I have to pay more for insurance. If I was told in the beginning that I needed insurance for a rodent problem, I would never have put my stuff there in the first place! I had to throw out 90% of my things! Now I have to spend more money to buy everything! $5,000 wasted! The worst customer service and company ever! I will be looking further into this as well.

Driveway Exit., No clear exit route, What I believe should've been the exit was blocked by 2 of your pickups & driveway only has faded arrows for in bound, Nothing marking how & where to exit the overall tight/small lot. Could've been 5 star otherwise.

I had to wait 15 minutes to check in and get my vehicle...this was after going through your online registration which I completed ahead of time. By the time I picked up my van, I already had 20 minutes less to use the vehicle. That's unacceptable. I'm going to consider using another service in the future, especially if I have a tight time window for my move.

Overall the location is wonderful. The process of dropping off the truck through the website is fraught and the website kept crashing or not allowing me to upload a picture. The website check-out and check-in really needs attention. It is not user friendly at all. Also, we asking for the mileage I entered the numbers on the dashboard and the website kept putting a decimal point in the number, which I didn't input. It's really buggy.

Berlin Cross keys Rd was listed as a site where I could pick up the vehicle. Twice (my last two orders) this location was NOT where I ended up picking up my rental. Please take it off the list if they are unable to supply trucks. Vineland and Clemonton were both great places and the people were wonderful but the frustration remains.

I made a reservation for 9 am and because I was running late they gave my truck away to someone else then I had to go to another location to get another one because they didn't have any other more on the original location where I made the reservation. I didn't get my truck until 11:30 am. So I was running late 2 and 1/2 hours to my furniture pick up appointment. Horrible customer service. They didn't even call me to tell me that because I was running late they will give away my reserved truck. Awful

the truck I rented had 150,000 on it. The steering was very loose and required 2 hands at all time. The drivers side mirror would vibrate and drop too far down to see the lane next to me. All the times I've used U-Haul I have never had an issue like this. Of coarse I have never had a truck with so many miles on it.

From the outside looking in, it looks amazing. And it is to a certain extent. The employees were helpful when needed, and the overall place was convenient and kept clean. Although, throughout my experience of just short of a year, I’ve had many problems with rats in my storage. If counted, I probably found over 2lbs of rat feces in my lifetime at Uhaul. As well as I found a ton of sunseed shells (the rats feed) throughout the storage unit... I changed the poison box that they gave me numerous of times. But that didn’t stop the rats. I found a pile of rat hair in a box of clothes that I’ve had in the storage as well. But when brought up to the employees of Uhual, they said they can’t do anything about it. Thankfully, I was leaving the storage unit a few days after I found the rat hair in my box of clothes. I don’t know if this rat problem was necessarily a Uhual problem, or maybe there was just a hole in the storage. But it would’ve been nice to receive some type of compensation or anything to relieve my stress of the problem. Because it was very upsetting to see my hard worked items have tons of rat feces all over them.

Too many times the gate didn't work, as in, it failed to open after inputting my access code. Other times gate didn't open to allow me to leave the storage area. When gate was inoperable, staff had no other choice than to leave storage area unsecured by leaving gate in the 'open' position. Met a couple of poorly trained employees who weren't ready to work alone.
