The customer service was poor, had to wait quite awhile before a young woman came, during which time 4 sets of customers came in and were waiting. After the representative finished dealing with me, she gave me the key and said the vehicle was in lane S and said the vehicle had a quarter tank of gas. Well, I could not find a lane S, but did find the vehicle, which was blocked by another vehicle, not allowing me to drive out the way I knew. I went back into the office and interrupted her, and she brought the vehicle around for me, but when I got into the vehicle, I got the shock off my life to see the gas gauge reading near zero and a message saying “ two gallons of gas go to the nearest gas station, two gallons of gas is no where close to a quarter of a tank holding 40 gallons.

The U-Box experience was great! It was cheaper than other methods of moving. The only thing that could have been better was the communication. When one of their trucks broke down, my box pickup never happened and I was not notified about it. Only after I called did I find out that my appt was moved and what had happened. Overall it was a seamless experience.

This seems to be a busy location, understandably, and once someone helps out, service is great. I was especially grateful for Renee, who did a great job with delivery and the forklift, and Haydee, who helped arrange the whole thing and accommodated my schedule.

I encountered several issues with my recent rental: I initially selected another location, but upon arrival, no truck was available. I was then sent to another location over 20 minutes away. The truck I received had a very loud noise coming from the rear wheels, likely a rear wheel bearing issue. Shortly after leaving the parking lot, the dashboard lit up with multiple warning lights (traction control defective and other system warnings). This situation was both inconvenient and concerning, given the safety issues because along with all that I've got into heavy rain

The young lady who helped me was very nice but she was by herself with a line of folks trying to rent storage units and trucks. Once I got my truck and went outside, there were more employees there but not one person spoke to me, I had to go find the truck. All she said was it was by the storage building. Well there were 6 trucks out there. The driver door didn't shut good, it was hard to get out of the location because there was trailers and trucks all over the place. I told the young lady I didn't need anything, but when you get in the truck, there was a dolly and I think blankets in there zip tied to the truck, well that took up space that I could have used. Plus there was a lock on the back of the truck, but I didn't have a key for it. Thank GOD, the folks helping me didn't lock it cause I wouldn't have been able to unlock it. Why is there a lock on the truck?

The parking lot of this location is so full that picking up and returning equipment is a pain. The area reserved for drop off was mostly inaccessible. Staff was friendly and helpful. The trailer we rented needed to be swept out before use.

The app experience is top notch! The UX design, navigation, ease of use etc was extremely well planned out. I interacted with a person for probably 40 seconds and was able to get my truck, use it for 10 hours, bring it back and it was super simple.

Overall excellent experience however it over 1 month for me to get my boxes. Easy too long. I also think when seeing up the car should ask will you need help unloading asms unloading. I had to literally call a few times and I had to ask. Having the movers unpack for me was so awesome and they were so quick. I have a very bad back and that experience was awesome. Overall excellent

I got humidity /AC controlled unit but it was hot and I could see mold buildup on the duct vents lining. Price is high for what I got. Staff was ok not overly friendly. Navigating to the dock bay to load/unload was like playing Tetris because the rental trucks and trailers were stored in the way. No clear instructions on how to swipe door to get into storage building. One reader was for checking in while two other readers were to open doors. I figured it out after 15 minutes. Other new renters were observed to have same experience. Lastly I rented unit to get contents of my home out abruptly due to hurricane flooding. There was zero sympathy for situation by staff or any assistance with rates discount or anything else.

I was a tenant for about five years. I stored my work samples at the Clermont on Granville, and the only reason I left was because I’m starting a new job and no longer need the unit. I loved this place, and I can’t say enough about the manager, Nick Hernandez, and his team! They were always super helpful and kept the place in tip top shape. If I ever need a storage unit again or need to rent anything, I will use Nick and his team. They give customer service like you just don’t see anymore!

The storage unit portion of my reservation was the most smoothest and best part of my reservation. General Manager Nick is very welcoming and helpful. I was giving an unsafe vehicle to drive up from Miami to Clermont. Having to use the access key card each time going through the doors is a major pain. I understand the security issue, but having to use the card each time creates a significant issue when making numerous trips with multiple people. That is fine if only making a couple trips to the storage room. In our case we were unloading a 15' truck and made ~ 20-30 trips when combining both carts.

first we booked the 1st floor they gave us room number as soon we reached the rood had 2 locks and we called them and told the room is locked ,they said sorry go other room that room was locked it took half and hour movers was waiting then again after 45 minute the said 2nd floor it was open but it took movers more than one hour and they charged we paid them more 200 dollars . and we paid for 1st floor now we have 2nd floor v bad and my kids go late for there work

Honestly would not recommend. I did everything online. The night I was suppose to return my truck I was told by employees they don't do a month free at this location in Clermont, Florida. Then one of the employees called a fake manager to check and see "if they did the 1 month free". Which I was told no. Then I had to be charged for another day on my truck which wasn't even my fault because the employees lied to me. After being on the phone with customer service and corporate for hours! (From 4:30pm -7:30pm) I went in the next morning after customer service told me the actual manger would be there. I didn't have a problem getting my key card or access at all like the previous afternoon/night before. Not sure if the employees where trying to pocket money from me or what, but honestly as a first time renter i would give this specific location negative stars if I could. The whole experience was stressful. My anxiety was out the roof because of it, and the fact that employees are willing to lie when the manager isn't around is just immoral. DO BETTER U-Haul!!! Additionally the unit that was "recommend" was way too small for our stuff, and when asked if they had a 10x10 we were told no, but if you look here online they have at least 2 available one on the 1st floor and 1 on the second. I understand these people our personal dealers, but they need to follow the rules and regulations of U-Haul if they're going to participate in your services. Especially when it comes to online rentals. Honestly, don't think I should have to pay for my last day on my rental truck because I was forced to keep it after being lied to.

The facility was clean but our unit was on the third floor we had to get a couple of heavy things out and could not due to the elevator being broken down for a month literally then we moved out of the unit on thanksgiving day 2022 mom and I went up the elevator then my grandmother and my uncle came to meet us on the third floor and grandma reported the elevator was flashing communication error on the ground floor it was thanksgiving day no one else was there so grandma and my uncle took the elevator with our stuff me and mom were forced to take the emergency stairs so if a breakdown on the elevator occurred me and mom could call for help and four of us would not be stuck in the elevator with no one there to open the doors in the building to rescue us on Sunday of that week we went to get the rest of the stuff out of the unit an employee was there I alerted him to the fact the elevator was flashing the communication error the employee who was young told me it was someone did not arm their units alarm that has nothing to do with the elevator if the elevator is flashing an error on the ground floor on the panel where the call button is they should take it seriously and call the repairman to fix it so no one gets stuck in the elevator and they might want to add some lightning rods to the roof near the elevator shaft and on the elevator shaft or fix the ones that are there to preventt another lightning strike and causing the elevator to break down for a month

I had gone 4 times to this facility where I rented a storage unit on the 3rd floor. The elevator has been out of order 3 times. Was not able to storage much in there and still need to get the boxes I was able to put in there. I complained about the elevator's issue and was given a refund for the first month of rent. I don't recommend if renting units on upper levels.

Upon arrival and after setting up the storage unit we overheard some of the staff saying that the elevator was broken. The person servicing us didn't mention anything about a broken elevator. Of course then we had to climb stairs to our unit. We had to cancel all of our plans to move into the storage unit and call a moving company because of this issue. We have very have bins and boxes so that isn't good at all. A different staff member offered me a free month as a discount but honestly that's what every storage place offers when getting new customers in. I'd like to have someone call me at 203-621-4601 or e-mail me at susan.betsworth@gmail.com to offer a better discount given we now have to spend hundreds of dollars more just to move our items in.

Took a long time to get help at first when i had a reservation for a storage unit. I came with a truck full of my furniture & they didn’t tell me that the elevator was not working I had to hear it as I came in from another worker and my unit was on the 3rd floor. Big inconvenience. Thankfully, there was a lady inside who was cleaning the units and gave me a unit on the first floor. When I went inside to get the unit number changed the guy helping had the nerve to talk bad about her because she gave to me and let them know in advance. By the way he was her son. Very disrespectful to talk about workers in front of customers & to make it even worse she was his mom. By grace she helped my move easier. The guys working in the office seem lazy & very rude. They all need to go back in training for customer service, it was very poor & they made my move difficult. I will not be recommending to anyone to move their stuff to this location.

Location was good but when we called to reserve we were expecting to have 2-3 street level options. When we arrived there was no ground level options. It was all cart and elevator we ended on the third level. Also the reservation stated there was a lock in the unit but we were told we needed a certain lock had had to purchase. Online reservation and location should be on the same page. We also had issues with the trailer pickup ended up being over a hour away one way. Not what we expected and believe we should be compensated for all the issues with the pickup and storage problems.

Website stated this location had available storage but when I called they said they had none. I called customer to let them know about this issue. This is misleading especially for a person driving 20hrs then having to put there belongings in two locations which is hard at the moment with no vehicle. I had a very high opinion of this place and even gifted several employees for their work up until I had this horrific experience. I drove 30 minutes (one way) to have the GM resolve the situation. The GM did not honor his word and demonstrated a total disregard for the elderly and people's time. He had offered to pro-rate a refund and changed his mind. Instead of owning up to it he preferred to leave his customers waiting over an hour until they left. That's right AARP he left my 75 year old mother standing around like an idiot for nearly 1.5 hrs while not addressing the situation remaining in the back of the place out of sight and having his employees check up to see if we had left. As a result, done for life with this location.

I reserved an 8x10 and get there and am told there were none available and was than told I couldn't get the 10x10 that WAS available for the same price instead I was told I could get to 5x5 that were not side by side. He stated I could have them for the same price as the one I had reserved i asked for this in writing and he DID NOT give me anything in writing to guarantee the price he offered. It is impossible to get in touch with a local U-Haul location. They all (and I had to deal with several during my move) allow the calls to go to the call center. This made my overall move complicated. My U-Boxes got delivered to the wrong location, even though I had updated the delivery address, and it was still impossible to talk to both locations of where they were and where they needed to be.

Well we were quoted $94, we arrived to find that unit was not available. Limited time we took it. Tried to call several ties no answer, no return call, tried Roadside to get through. Transfer run around no return call. Went to pay (we owed but the pay now said zero, so late fee(s) came twice!!.Most expensive late fee ever because we will swear off uhaul for life. Finally decided we would move to a more economical storage. Used Penske 2 weeks ago and moved storage units. Uhaul has terrible customer service. Thanks for all the hassle keep my extra $200 and Ill try to get it back with negative publicity. For now get some people to answer the phone and return calls

My experience storing with U-Haul goes back almost 10 years and includes three separate locations. I just want to say that during all of this time I was totally satisfied with the service and help that I received. I upsized, downsized, needed trailer light assistance and the like and never did they leave me wanting. Everyone has been great. I don't know if I will need another storage unit, but if I do, I'm going back to U-Haul.

I rented for 15 months. Super Clean and smelled clean too. Excellent level of lighting. The lighting was motion activated. It would have been nice if it stayed on a little longer. I had to stop what I was doing and walk down the hall a few times each time I was in the storage unit because the light would turn off leaving me in the dark. But even with that, this is an excellent place and I will use them again if needed. I felt safe getting into my unit. Great customer service.

This facility is awesome! It’s always clean, well lit and smells good. The location is is easy to get to and has plenty of parking at the dock which makes it very easy to load and unload.

It was a pleasant and smooth experience using this storage location. Carts were available at the door/loading dock for customer use and bathrooms and drinking fountains were also available.

Elevator smells terrible which makes you think the whole facility is dirty. It is also next to impossible to turn left on Highway 50 which makes leaving it very inconvenient and dangerous..

Convenient, higher in price than some, but not by much. Interesting they charge more to be on the higher floors, even when you don’t have an option to be in a lower floor. Others charge more to be on.

Needs overhang on loading area, polished concrete is like ice skating rink when wet and no gutters means walking through actual waterfall when loading in the rain. Even worse vehicle access to bldg.
