The cell charger port in our truck wasn't working 😔 I also would love to thank BIG TIME to the guy who helped us at the front desk, his name was Matthew, he not only treated my and my special needs son with respect and compassion, but went above and beyond talking to my son and being friendly while professional as well. The facility was clean but our unit was on the third floor we had to get a couple of heavy things out and could not due to the elevator being broken down for a month literally then we moved out of the unit on thanksgiving day 2022 mom and I went up the elevator then my grandmother and my uncle came to meet us on the third floor and grandma reported the elevator was flashing communication error on the ground floor it was thanksgiving day no one else was there so grandma and my uncle took the elevator with our stuff me and mom were forced to take the emergency stairs so if a breakdown on the elevator occurred me and mom could call for help and four of us would not be stuck in the elevator with no one there to open the doors in the building to rescue us on Sunday of that week we went to get the rest of the stuff out of the unit an employee was there I alerted him to the fact the elevator was flashing the communication error the employee who was young told me it was someone did not arm their units alarm that has nothing to do with the elevator if the elevator is flashing an error on the ground floor on the panel where the call button is they should take it seriously and call the repairman to fix it so no one gets stuck in the elevator and they might want to add some lightning rods to the roof near the elevator shaft and on the elevator shaft or fix the ones that are there to preventt another lightning strike and causing the elevator to break down for a monthALEXANDER W. | Overall Experience

Because my experience was so favorable it is difficult for me to provide improvement suggestions. HOWEVER, I must comment and thank Amit (sp?) for his professional customer service. Not only did he provide great answers about the Hitch install, he also gave great insights on my move from FL to NC, highlighting the services that UHAUL could provide. Thanks Amit.. I am not happy with your online services. I ordered the biggest truck you carry and drove 3 hours to pick it up. Upon arrival truck wasn't there or available. I was also told a vehicle trailer would carry my F150 truck. Note to Uhaul your system lies to you and can't carry the truck. Then changed my drop off location and was told I would be compensated for the massive inconvenience. Never happened. Everyone I dealt with did not put or record notes with my contract appropriately. I had to show my phone logs and conversations along with text to verify false notes recorded by uhaul staff.chad C.

Don't give away reserved times making it harder for someone to rent a U-Haul took forever for the online key pick up like an Hr or so just to grab the keys with the combo. Very hard to do through online speaking to someone was even harder though it was more helpful than nothingAlex V.

We had a great experience at U-haul with Nick as he addressed all of our concerns and even saved one of our cancelled reservations in no-time! We rented a storage room (5x10) and the space was phenomenal for our stuff. The temperature control maintained our boxes perfectly for 5 months. Going in and out of the storage was easy and the security of the place was remarkable. Will recommend anyone who needs a storage to go to Nick over at Clermont in HWY 50 to store their needs.Samantha R.

You can not steal money from people. Told me I was good for 24 hours and then I got charged a fee for bringing it back an hour and 45 minutes "late" even though I only used the truck for less than 10 hours. Made it seem like I was getting the whole rental for $140 and then I ended up paying $330. Never was told I had to put gas back in and pay per mile fuel surcharge as well. Should be one or the other! I thought I had the ez fuel service. But there was Nothing easy about it. YOU Caused an exorbitant amount of fuel to be used due to us having to take two trips due to you not having the right size truck that we ordered! Then you attached fees on top of the fuel. You didn't even have the right Dolly I ordered! Entire experience was a joke. I will never rent from you again or recommend your services to anyone else again.John C.

Uhaul as a whole could not tell me if my ubox was delivered and available for pick-up, even though I spoke to 6+ employees and had them confirm that my contact information was accurate and add to the notes that I be notified via email or phone call. I had to show up and hope it was there and available for pick up. Even then the employees at the location didn't know if the box was there or not! Had to ask them to search the premises. Once they located the box it had already been loaded onto a trailer. How do you not remember loading a ubox onto a trailer?! Was told that they would immediately hookup the pick-up I rented to the trailer so that I could depart. I walked up as the employee was attempting to hookup the trailer, only to realize the ubox was loaded BACKWARDS!! Told him that if he hooked up the trailer there would be no way that I could open the container, because the door would be blocked by both the pick-up truck and the trailer itself. His response was, "it's loaded this way for a reason". I then had to explain that this was unacceptable as there would be no way to unload the trailer if it was left this way. He at least acknowledged that issue, but I then had to wait nearly an hour for another employee to come correct the problem, one that SHOULD NOT have occurred to begin with!!! I've have used uhaul services for over 15 years, today's experience would be a 2 out of 10. The overall experience with the ubox would be just the same, as my ubox was rerouted to a different location from what was scheduled, and confirmed. I WAS NOT notified of this change until after the fact!! Had to spend 4 days being transferred from representative to representative to get that corrected. And still your company couldn't notify me or have the correct information in your system. I would never use the ubox service again and would advise anyone else to look elsewhere !!!Anthony S.

so many things wrong with this location. first of all to be charged for the days of the hurricane is sad, we couldn't bring the equipment in because we were in a hurricane and U-Haul has ZERO compassion and charged me the extra two days even though I couldn't get it to you because IT WAS A HURRICANE 2nd you have a kid working there that has the IQ of a carrot, a lady asked him for help on what box she needed and he just waved in the direction of the boxes and said, over there. then when it was our turn, we were trying to talk to him about the hurricane and he said there was nothing he could do, then we asked about what we owe for the mileage, and he just prints a paper and shoves it at us, didnt answer a single question I asked him. Dont know what his issue is, but he does not focus on the customer in front of him. ps. I went and helped the lady find the box she was looking for, she was elderly and needed help, but your employee just didnt care.Sherry P.

To keep the lines moving , let the associates scan drivers license into the system cell phones don't always connect it slows down the line . Also at this location it was 4 people working and like 7 customers in line , each time someone got a rental all 4 would be talking and walk outside together. Makes no sense . I had gone 4 times to this facility where I rented a storage unit on the 3rd floor. The elevator has been out of order 3 times. Was not able to storage much in there and still need to get the boxes I was able to put in there. I complained about the elevator's issue and was given a refund for the first month of rent. Upon arrival and after setting up the storage unit we overheard some of the staff saying that the elevator was broken. The person servicing us didn't mention anything about a broken elevator. Of course then we had to climb stairs to our unit. We had to cancel all of our plans to move into the storage unit and call a moving company because of this issue. We have very have bins and boxes so that isn't good at all. A different staff member offered me a free month as a discount but honestly that's what every storage place offers when getting new customers in. Took a long time to get help at first when i had a reservation for a storage unit. I came with a truck full of my furniture & they didn’t tell me that the elevator was not working I had to hear it as I came in from another worker and my unit was on the 3rd floor. Big inconvenience. Thankfully, there was a lady inside who was cleaning the units and gave me a unit on the first floor. When I went inside to get the unit number changed the guy helping had the nerve to talk bad about her because she gave to me and let them know in advance. By the way he was her son. Very disrespectful to talk about workers in front of customers & to make it even worse she was his mom. By grace she helped my move easier. The guys working in the office seem lazy & very rude. They all need to go back in training for customer service, it was very poor & they made my move difficult. There’s plenty of carts available to make the moving process easier. Staff has always been very helpful and friendly. Location was good but when we called to reserve we were expecting to have 2-3 street level options. When we arrived there was no ground level options. It was all cart and elevator we ended on the third level. Also the reservation stated there was a lock in the unit but we were told we needed a certain lock had had to purchase. Online reservation and location should be on the same page. We also had issues with the trailer pickup ended up being over a hour away one way. Website stated this location had available storage but when I called they said they had none. I called customer to let them know about this issue. This is misleading especially for a person driving 20hrs then having to put there belongings in two locations which is hard at the moment with no vehicle. I had a very high opinion of this place and even gifted several employees for their work up until I had this horrific experience. I drove 30 minutes (one way) to have the GM resolve the situation. The GM did not honor his word and demonstrated a total disregard for the elderly and people's time. He had offered to pro-rate a refund and changed his mind. Instead of owning up to it he preferred to leave his customers waiting over an hour until they left. That's right AARP he left my 75 year old mother standing around like an idiot for nearly 1.5 hrs while not addressing the situation remaining in the back of the place out of sight and having his employees check up to see if we had left. I reserved an 8x10 and get there and am told there were none available and was than told I couldn't get the 10x10 that WAS available for the same price instead I was told I could get to 5x5 that were not side by side. He stated I could have them for the same price as the one I had reserved i asked for this in writing and he DID NOT give me anything in writing to guarantee the price he offered.
