TRAVIS HNick is Rude and had a very unhelpful, unfriendly attitude. He straight up lied to us about availability of a truck for a daily rental. He also was very short with us when we asked for information on motorcycle trailer rental. He did not bother to offer ALL the particulars of trailer rental. We stepped out the door to our truck, I got online and immediately rented the exact truck sitting in the parking lot that we inquired about inside. Nick said there were no trucks available for the day that everything was reserved. Apparently, he just did not want to be bothered. Nick is NOT an asset to your team. When we went back inside to get the keys to the truck we were told was not available, Nick then took off outside for a cigarette break. I know this because he was standing just outside the office front doors smoking when we were escorted out to the rental truck by the employee that helped us.

AOL from the 90s had better connection. Bobby keep working it, eventually working thru. But in our modern times, it won't cut it.

RONALD ABathroom was really not clean on one occasion. Doors were often left open. My unit didn’t have a light. Often I couldn’t find staff when needed. Had to wait in long lines to get questions answered. On my move out day the kid behind the counter was super rude when I asked if I would be getting an email receipt. Then telling his coworker as I was leaving I wasn’t trying to be rude but.. and when I moved in they parked my pod on a downward slant making it super frustrating and taking longer to move it into the unit. Oh and it was bolted shut and took forever to get a staff member to unbolt it.

I mentioned I am here to hook up that said trailer I was parked in front of. The gentleman inside was great I even apologized to him. He defused the situation by not making a big deal out of something so small. On return at 4pm I put trailer back in the stack where I got it from. A different employee working ouside for returns told me to never do that again. I was supposed to pull in line behind other trucks that had been returned. I have never returned an open trailer at any location like that. Plus if thats policy maybe when I'm refusing insurance and dollys maybe it should be explained at that time. Do better while the outside gentleman walked away from me. Another customer starting chatting with me and he said everyone seems in bad modes around here. I informed him it was the same at 9am. I heard him ask about motocycle trailers so I walked the customer over to the options you guys have. After showing him the two sized trailers for his motorcycle. The employee approached to check my trailer back in. Nothing said. I eventually asked am I done he says yes you can go. I wonder how long was I able to leave. Was he ever going to tell me if I didn't ask.
DAVID SI will never use this business again! I rented a cargo van, on the van it’s advertised $19.99 a day. They gave me 40 miles of travel. I made two trips to a storage unit, dropped it off early and went exactly 40 miles. Replaced the fuel 2 $20.00 and was charged $76.79 for rental! Looks like bait and switch to me. I really feel violated!
MARK EI originally was to pick up a trailer at a location on Courtenay in Merritt Island. They did not have the trailer I had reserved and couldn't guarantee one would be back for 5pm reservation pick up. The dealer I rated was the one on Dixie Ln above. As it was Sunday, they were closing at 5. Dealer in Merritt Island said there was nothing they could do if trailer didn't come back. This was a little after 4pm. So decided I'd go to uhaul on Dixie to insure I could get a trailer. Only hiccup at Dixie was I couldn't get through to them on the phone. Time was running out had to go thru to a dispatcher for Central Florida who said they did have a trailer but 3 way phone with Dixie they told dispatcher they didn't have one. Finally they decided there was one, but I had to get there by 4:30 to get it hooked up. Once there pick up and drop off went well. But Merritt Island U-Haul let me down big time. Frustrating when calling Dixie it kept rolling into a national call center that couldn't help.

The storage unit I was provided had signs of significant water damage to the drywall and strong mildew smell. Once again, no fault of the staff but the facility needs updating with regards to exterior doors, storage doors/locks, exterior/interior paint, tiling, needs interior security cameras, and the WiFi signal needs updating. While checking in, the staff had difficulty gaining a stable connection to complete equipment check in. Staff stated that the WiFi connection was bad and had been reported numerous times without response. An updated WiFi connection would dramatically improve business services and allow staff to process more transactions throughout the day equaling more money.

Staff are friendly but not well trained, the computer system causes confusion and often requires many team members to work with the same client. I do not recommend this facility.

I was completely done the truck empty but the staff outside smoking at EXACTLY 7pm refused to check in my truck. They informed me to do it via the app. As I was checking in the truck they continued to smoke outside. They went in side and I had a issue with the app. So I walked in and the one woman LOUDLY Yelled WE ARE CLOSED AND YOU CANT BE IN HERE. while the doors where unlocked. It would greatly benefit your team to have everyone on the same level. I had movers being paid by the hour and I had to wait until the person that could issue the storage returned from lunch. This could have been avoided with proper training. Otherwise the staff was very helpful. Corey & Sutton did the best they could.

During the day the temp was unbearable to stay in for any length of time , so if I needed to move stuff there or around in there it was in evening . It did say it would be temperature controlled so I don’t feel I got my moneys worth since I paid for it . For this reason I won’t be recommending uhaul. And also I. The beginning we served a ground floor rental unit and that day when checked in the man said he only had one unit left and it was upstairs I’m disabled and stairs are difficult for me but he didn’t seem to care .

There were 4 people working and no one was interested in helping in any way shape or form when we were having difficulty entering the facility. They even lied and said there was no other way to access my storage unit. The person cleaning the windows actually told myself and the movers I had hired the other way to get in. The staff inside finally let us in this way and then were terrible when we tried to find the best route to exit. This is not the first time I have had issues with the staff at this site. Someone needs to evaluate the quality of their employees.

She listened to us, addressed our concern, stayed very professional and got us a solution we were happy with. My daughter and dog were out in the 98 degree heat all this time. I am disabled and needed a storage unit on the ground floor. Even though I called to reserve storage space more than a week ahead of my moving date the Rockledge/Cocoa facility was the only one with a climate controlled space of at least 10 x 10 available within 30 miles of the facility in Melbourne at the intersection of Babcock and Palm Bay road. Perhaps that Melbourne facility needs to expand their accommodations !!! Otherwise everything was fine. Thank you!

I asked for the $89 storage space and if they had it one the first floor, since I am renting this for my mom who is moving in with me and can not go up and down stairs, because she's going through cancer treatment. I was told yes and shown a unit on the first floor. I even made a reservation for this storage unit. On the day I arrived with my mom's things I was told that the unit I was shown is not going to be $89, but approximately $160. Unfortunately we had to rent a unit on the 2nd floor, which is not good, since there's no elevator at this location.

Virginia K | First ImpressionsSo after attempting to close my storage earlier than a month since I found somewhere to reside ONLY 3 DAYS after paying the entire $135 for my unit I was told by the people over the phone & the manager at the Rockledge location that I was unable to be prorated any amount & that it was up to the location manager. Next from the very beginning I was offered a one way deal so that when I used the Uhual truck my first month of storage is free. After arguing & still paying the money upfront 2 weeks later I was told it was stay on my account instead of being refunded back to me. I will never tell anyone to return from here. Also if your going to offer such large units atleast have a light in the back of the unit! I only liked for one or two people to assist me at this location. One of the guys I no longer see he left & Darryl. Darryl is beyond nice & helpful! From returning the uhual unloading it as well & any time before I left. Please let him kno his hard work is never unnoticed!
