It the customer is like local and is traveling within a 30-35 mile have at least half or a full tank. Customer would appreciate and if they need to go further then it is still their responsibility to fill up the tank. Your overall service was excellent and would definitely recommend and use your service again.

Absolutely the worst experience ever w/ UHaul. Unbelievably terribly wrong service from your Viera store at 5480 Schenck Ave, Rockledge FL. We’ve rented before and usually there is always a small Hiccup, nothing that can’t be fixed but our experience Jan 19 was the worst ever and then your horrible telephone customer service just added insult to injury. I had made, in advance, preparations to rent a 15’ truck from this location for Sunday morning Jan 19 at 0900. Because they don’t open til noon on Sunday I was prepared to pick up Saturday night, but was assured that the truck would be there and ready. I did my due diligence because my wife has been ill, in fact, she had just been released from Holmes Regional Hospital the day before and her needs had to be considered....I was reassured that the truck would be there, keys in box. Okay. So we arrive at 0855 Sunday morning. Get to the lock boxes at exactly 0900 And the code did not work. Turns out there were several boxes and the code I had didn’t work for any. We called local number and was told no one answers that phone til after NOON on Sunday call the 800 line. Multiple calls to the 800 line until we finally made it to the “on hold” portion. Finally got a young lady who tried her best, back and forth on hold and suddenly a pop up on my Uhaul confirmation page that the truck was at the Dixie Lane location! Come on! Really? My sick wife, holding her guts, cause we didn’t have access To a public restroom at your Schenck location and now we are at the wrong location? How is it the wrong location when I had been there 3 times to ensure this rental would go as well as possible? We had people meeting us at 0900 to move our 82 year old Aunt from Viera to Brookdale assisted living in New Port Richey, FL because her Alzheimer’s has taken control. Are you following me? Sick wife, elderly Aunt, extreme planning to make sure we had our rental, so much that we would have rented the day before but your Schenck Road people said it will be here and all will be fine!?!?!? The whole thing was becoming a nightmare but we couldn’t wait til Noon or change to a different agency Because it was moving day and plans had to be met and followed when you have ailing family members. UHaul just didn’t care. So we drove the extra 10 miles got to Dixie Lane and had to wait. Took another 35 minutes and 20 seconds before I had a Truck and headed home. I didn’t get to our moving place until 11am. 2 hours late and now two helpers short as we had commitment issues for everyone and UHaul just didn’t care. The man at the Dixie Lane location was apologetic but it wasn’t his fault. He was dealt a terrible hand by his coworkers from down the road Several calls and comments later, it is now 22 February and not even an apology from UHaul or a reduction in charges! I will be printing this letter and sending it to the Better Business Bureau and the Stares Attorney General Consumer Affairs Division for review. The business p

Both pick-up and turn-in went smoothly and the trailer I rented was in good condition. This location seems to be better run than in past years (compared to 3 or 4 years ago). Management has done something right...and they have hired good service techs. Good Job!

Darryl Rose was doing the work of 3 Employees on Saturday February 8th. Taking care of myself and another Customer on 2 cash registers at the same time. Checking returns in, hooking up trailers, and keeping everyone happy. If he is not the Manager, he should be. The only negative for this location is that where renting Customers park is where Return Rentals pull in. Customers cannot pull out if a return comes in.

Apparently, making a reservation from my phone works, but using the same system to do a return doesn't. The location was having problems with photo uploads in the morning while I was waiting to rent the vehicle, so perhaps it isn't surprising that the app would not work to allow me to upload a photo during the return process, which stopped the process. I called the number I was told to call and spent just over 25 minutes ON HOLD before I reached a representative who could help. It took 45 minutes to return the vehicle because U-Haul's system didn't work. I was told I wouldn't be charged the $20 fee, but there it was on the receipt. Another 15 minutes of lost time later I'm told it will be reversed. Shouldn't have been there to begin with. There should also be a middle ground to the "Yes" "No" questions above. The vehicle hadn't been cleaned. It was acceptable since it is a truck to move stuff, but whatever was on the interior door probably should have been cleaned when the last person turned it in. So I would have actually chosen "sort of" for clean. If the questionnaire asked whether I would recommend the supposedly easy and convenient after hours return process I would say absolutely not.

I asked the lady employee to come over alone, because I have Military Sexual Ttauma. The Jerk, noisy male manager came over as well, and heard my sensitive request, not to have anyone touch me. I think the way to improve will be to have a second person to see clients when one rep is serving others. We had to wait a while almost 30 minutes each time, when we picked up the truck and when we returned it. There was only one person at the store at that time.
