This facility had way too much stock on the lot. Seems like U-Haul would have sent me to another location that was not so overloaded with U-Haul vehicles.

The customer service that I received for this trailer pick up was outstanding, Tyler was outside loading materials in a truck when I arrived and even greeted me, then when he came inside and saw me waiting, he jumped right in and took care of my rental. In this day and age where customer service is now mostly dependant on a robot or non existant, he made the experience pleasant and he was very efficient. He was most knowledgeable of the system and had me out the gate in no time, by far my best experience at U-Haul. Being a senior citizen, I seem to find most younger folks don't want to work much, they want to stare at endless videos or social media pages on their phones and become irritated when thay can't, so this was definoitely not the case with Tyler, he did an awesom job and should be commended, he is a keeper

When I picked up the van on 5/22 I was asked how many miles. I guessed 90. They said what wasn't used would be refunded. I returned it only using 76 miles. I called 6/8 and asked when the difference would be refunded. A message was taken and I was told I would be called back. 6/9 I was called back but they said a message wasn't left, just a number. So I explained everything again and was told I would be called back by end of day. I was not called back so I called back 6/11. I was told no refund would be given. So I explained everything again that if its $1.39 per mile and I didn't use the 90, and I was already told that what wasn't used would be returned. I had them print both receipts. The guesstimate receipt when I picked it up and the final receipt when I dropped it off. I was told again that I would be called back. But Im sure if I went over the miles I would be charged for them. I am not sure why what wasn't used is so hard to get returned. I returned it earlier than a day and with extra gas and used less miles, not sure why its so complicated. It's now been 3 weeks since the rental and 3 days of phone calls and 66 minutes on the phone total. Its simple. Just do a new order with the same info, correct miles used so tax will be computed and refund the difference. If additional miles are automatic, then so should refunds. I have never had this many issues with Uhaul.

The vehicle was clean and awesome. Was exactly what I was looking for 100%. HOWEVER the app is absolutely horrendous. I needed to leave super early and scheduled a pickup and had soooo many problems getting the vehicle, first the need to CALL an emergency contact? Very weird and the call came in as spam and went straight to voicemail for my partner who I assigned the emergency contact. #2 the app would not progress unless that was completed and the customer rep took forever to get it to pass that screen on the app. When getting the keys and reading location that didnt work either even when I allowed to share location. THEN when I drop it off it just says to park it and leave the keys where they need to go and I did. When I went to finalize it then asks me for mileage and other information. I was charged for an EXTRA day however the employee I called was very professional and reverted the payment. I will leave a 5 stars for cleanliness, professionalism, and sense of urgency. But for the app I would leave 0 stars. Absolutely terrible.

I don’t know why it always takes so long to get anything done at Uhaul. They have many people wandering around in the back but only one person at a time helps you. The system seems to go down and takes lots of effort by the workers to do anything in it. Since we are all there to go on big moves, the delay really messes up an already stressful and difficult day.

Upon pickup (Sat 30 May) the system went down and it took me almost 2 hrs to pick up my trailer. There were many customers who were very angry and the staff did everything they could to help but they were also victims of the system. The 800 number vectored everyone to use the app but the app was also affected by the system bandwidth issue. When selecting to speak to a customer rep the phone just hung up. The store employees said this happens all the time and U-Haul knows it. It is a bandwidth problems and U-Haul knows this but refuses to commit the funds to expand bandwidth so when other time zones come on line the system bogs down to a crawl. Many customers on the line behind me just left and took their business elsewhere swearing never to come back to U-Haul. The employees did an amazing job taking the brunt of the disgruntled customers but their hands were tied. It is ridiculous to not have a back up "manual" process in place when the system goes down especially when it is a reoccurring known bandwidth issue.

Your staff is very disrespectful and rude. I had an appt for 7:30am on 05/31/26 which was accepted online by your company. Once I got there I was told by your Corporate Office that you don’t open until 9am. So why would you have appts to pick up a truck at 7:30? I was told that I would get a $50 discount for the inconvenience but that never happened as well as that a team member should arrive at 8:30am that could help me get the truck earlier than 9am. The employee got there at 8:40 and told me that he can not help me because they open at 9am I explained what the corporate was incorrect and was very disrespectful and asked me to leave the building until 9am after he opened the door. I text the General Manager Katie and have not had a response as well. While on the premises several other customers expressed their concerns and they were the exact same situation I was having. Then I got a contact with a different truck number then the key that was given to me and I was called asking if I have taken the truck. Not sure how that happened. Please feel free to call me regarding this matter.

The location I selected/rented the trailer from did not have the trailer. I had to drive to the next town to pick up(not a huge deal). Why would you have a trailer without a jack? Had a blow out on a tire, things happen. Took U-Haul 5 hours to respond, then they sent two meth’d out zombies to repair it. After 20 minutes I finally just jumped in and put the tire one. The worst customer service I have ever witnessed. 5.5 hours to change a flat(they had ever existed in the book)

Shortly after getting in the road, the trailer kept sending signals to my truck the braking system needed to be checked and other safety warnings. I would stop, check everything, disconnect and reconnect the plug between the trailer and truck. Things would be okay again for 20-30 minutes before errors began again.

Bathroom was really not clean on one occasion. Doors were often left open. My unit didn’t have a light. Often I couldn’t find staff when needed. Had to wait in long lines to get questions answered. On my move out day the kid behind the counter was super rude when I asked if I would be getting an email receipt. Then telling his coworker as I was leaving I wasn’t trying to be rude but.. and when I moved in they parked my pod on a downward slant making it super frustrating and taking longer to move it into the unit. Oh and it was bolted shut and took forever to get a staff member to unbolt it.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. However, the facility needs dramatic updating. The storage unit I was provided had signs of significant water damage to the drywall and strong mildew smell. Once again, no fault of the staff but the facility needs updating with regards to exterior doors, storage doors/locks, exterior/interior paint, tiling, needs interior security cameras, and the WiFi signal needs updating. While checking in, the staff had difficulty gaining a stable connection to complete equipment check in. Staff stated that the WiFi connection was bad and had been reported numerous times without response. An updated WiFi connection would dramatically improve business services and allow staff to process more transactions throughout the day equaling more money.

On weekends you can pretty much guarantee the doors will be propped open with no one policing the entry/exit. Staff are friendly but not well trained, the computer system causes confusion and often requires many team members to work with the same client. I do not recommend this facility.

When moving into my storage unit. I arrived at 6pm and I knew they closed at 7pm. I was completely done the truck empty but the staff outside smoking at EXACTLY 7pm refused to check in my truck. They informed me to do it via the app. As I was checking in the truck they continued to smoke outside. They went in side and I had a issue with the app. So I walked in and the one woman LOUDLY Yelled WE ARE CLOSED AND YOU CANT BE IN HERE. while the doors where unlocked. COMPLETELY RUDE and NO CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER....

Worst experience ever. I booked Merritt island online and get the office and they don’t have my unit available. They gave me another unit in the office location and it was disgusting. At the last minute I had to call around and get a new unit elsewhere. I better not get charged for this unit.

The newer staff members was not familiar with the processes for issuing storage. When I asked how long they worked there they said a month. It would greatly benefit your team to have everyone on the same level. I had movers being paid by the hour and I had to wait until the person that could issue the storage returned from lunch. This could have been avoided with proper training. Otherwise the staff was very helpful. Corey & Sutton did the best they could.

The inside of the facility was always over the Temperature range on the thermometer on the wall . During the day the temp was unbearable to stay in for any length of time , so if I needed to move stuff there or around in there it was in evening . It did say it would be temperature controlled so I don’t feel I got my moneys worth since I paid for it . For this reason I won’t be recommending uhaul. And also I. The beginning we served a ground floor rental unit and that day when checked in the man said he only had one unit left and it was upstairs I’m disabled and stairs are difficult for me but he didn’t seem to care .

I waited for help for 25 min when i was trying to rent the unit because I am disabled and needed a down stairs unit and no one knew if there was one available then when there was finally someone to answer the question he didn't even stop walking and talking on his phone he said "nope" the guy helping me said what can she do he said " go somewhere else" if I wouldn't have needed something that day I absolutely would have gone somewhere else

The staff was absolutely terrible. There were 4 people working and no one was interested in helping in any way shape or form when we were having difficulty entering the facility. They even lied and said there was no other way to access my storage unit. The person cleaning the windows actually told myself and the movers I had hired the other way to get in. The staff inside finally let us in this way and then were terrible when we tried to find the best route to exit. This is not the first time I have had issues with the staff at this site. Someone needs to evaluate the quality of their employees.

Alexa was amazing. We were displeased to find out a booked reservation did not guarantee a unit after moving from PA. She listened to us, addressed our concern, stayed very professional and got us a solution we were happy with. In the middle of helping us she had another customer rudely and continuously interrupting and she addressed that with poise. Afterwards she gave us a full tour to ensure a successful transfer. She is a value to your business.

I stood 35 minutes with a frustrated employee who didn't know what he was doing and no one helping him but rather interrupting him to ask questions for their customer. My daughter and dog were out in the 98 degree heat all this time. I am disabled and needed a storage unit on the ground floor. They didn't want to go look and see if there was one so the boss came in and when he finally got off his phone said " well you can take upstairs or go somewhere else" I will never use that uhaul again

I am relocating to the Melbourne area from the Clearwater area and had hopped to find a storage area closer to where I was going to be living. Even though I called to reserve storage space more than a week ahead of my moving date the Rockledge/Cocoa facility was the only one with a climate controlled space of at least 10 x 10 available within 30 miles of the facility in Melbourne at the intersection of Babcock and Palm Bay road. Perhaps that Melbourne facility needs to expand their accommodations !!! Otherwise everything was fine. Thank you!

Everything was great until I rented a storage space. I purposely went into this location 3 days prior to moving in to see about a storage space. I asked for the $89 storage space and if they had it one the first floor, since I am renting this for my mom who is moving in with me and can not go up and down stairs, because she's going through cancer treatment. I was told yes and shown a unit on the first floor. I even made a reservation for this storage unit. On the day I arrived with my mom's things I was told that the unit I was shown is not going to be $89, but approximately $160. Unfortunately we had to rent a unit on the 2nd floor, which is not good, since there's no elevator at this location.

So after attempting to close my storage earlier than a month since I found somewhere to reside ONLY 3 DAYS after paying the entire $135 for my unit I was told by the people over the phone & the manager at the Rockledge location that I was unable to be prorated any amount & that it was up to the location manager. Next from the very beginning I was offered a one way deal so that when I used the Uhual truck my first month of storage is free. After arguing & still paying the money upfront 2 weeks later I was told it was stay on my account instead of being refunded back to me. I will never tell anyone to return from here. Also if your going to offer such large units atleast have a light in the back of the unit! I only liked for one or two people to assist me at this location. One of the guys I no longer see he left & Darryl. Darryl is beyond nice & helpful! From returning the uhual unloading it as well & any time before I left. Please let him kno his hard work is never unnoticed!
