I rented a local truck on 08/02/19 to remove furniture from pods in margate and move into apartment , the apartment was not available therefore I called and converted a oneway to titusville my mothers house i was told to bring truck back to coconut which i did the next day ,if they had wanted to drop off in Titusville that would not been a problem . I was billed wrong destination , double amount I have thru out rented several trucks from U-Haul , and never a problem , I have made several phone calls with no and solutions, also return truck full tank and got billed for that . never will i rent a haul, customer beware .

U-Haul was great for my moving needs. I was extremely impressed with the cleanliness of the truck and friendliness of the staff. The only thing that steers me away from using it more often is the high price per mile. Even just moving near the area the price per mile caused my what wouldve been inexpensive rental to jump in price. Overall I would still use U-Haul again but only if absolutely necessary due to per mile price.

As if being open on New Years Day wasn’t enough, it was great to take advantage of a promotional rate to help with my move-in. The facility is clean and well organized.

Lights on original 5x8 trailer did not work, so there was a bit of a wait while the tech tried to fix the lights. The lights should be checked before customer arrives. However, the location did give me a 6x12 trailer for the same price.

Sandra was amazing. The process of moving is generally not something people look forward to. Fortunately, Sandra’s sense of humor and helpfulness made for an uplifting entryway into the hours of manual labor ahead. She helped me access the key, offered accessories, and was personable the entire time. Regarding the online check-in process (outside of store), the initial verification process can use improvement. Two friends needed to be called in order for me to check out the vehicle. I would have appreciated if the website clearly indicated this (was under impression it was one person). I’ve rented premium vehicles from National without speaking to anyone or undergoing a cumbersome verification process. Back to the store, drop off was a breeze. The gentleman was prompt and friendly. Overall, I appreciate the pleasant experience provided by this location and will be returning for future moving needs. Thanks!

all the equipment rented was amazing, but my only complaint will be the girl from the front desk Shanque her customer service was disgusting, she looks and acts like she hates that job and she doesn't care, she was so rude and unpolite, I will never go back to that location ever again. Sandra, on the other hand, was very professional and great service when I returned the truck.

Check first before u send somebody to return A trailer and tell we don't take it here. When to 3 different location In palm beach . Them i and up going back to coconut creek .where i got it from. Yes 30 miles trip .?

The ash tray had cigarettes in it. Obviously wasn’t cleaned/checked. I did a bunch of data entry (credit card, drivers license, etc) beforehand but when I got to the location, the agent had to type everything in again. Also the agent was overworked, could have used a second person there. I had to question the fuel level, and the agent came out and basically told me my eyes weren’t seeing what I was seeing. Ridiculous. It was at 3/8, not 7/16. No worries I brought it back at 1/2 but still, ridiculous. Also checking for damage, had to do it myself taking pictures on my cell phone? What a joke. If this is how uhaul is doing things from now on, I will likely be looking elsewhere for rentals.

My only complaint is that computer updates should not be done on the weekend or during business hours. The computer was very slow and we were patient but it is not fair to your employees . It makes their job difficult when they have to deal with people who are not patient .

My experience renting a 9’ van was mostly very good. Samir, the associate who answered questions about the van’s pick-up in the AM was knowledgeable about the online pick-up and return system I was using for the first time. He was amiable and patient. The return part did not go as well. I hadn’t checked the instructions for the return, and pulled the van into the equipment return lane. After waiting several minutes, I checked the instructions via my cell phone and ended up parking the van in a spot near to where I had picked it up. I followed the steps, which indicated I was to park the van, and I completed the return online. It was like the reverse of picking it up- taking pictures of the odometer and gas gauge, filling in numbers and taking pictures of the body and interior of the vehicle. I was just walking up to drop the keys in the return box when I was told by an employee that I wasn’t supposed to park the vehicle, that I needed to return it via the equipment return lane. I said I had been there initially, but no one was available to check it in. He discounted the information I gave about using the online return system. I felt as if I were being scolded. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice his name. He turned an excellent experience into something sour.

I got charged twice ! One final charge of $96.60 per my contract and then today another $85 and when I call uhaul they said I should leave a review first !!!!! Can I please get my refund already ???

Reserved an appliance dolly a week in advance, but when we arrived, they had no appliance dolly or even a regular dolly. They through a furniture dolly in the truck that we were probably charged for that was useless for moving heavy appliances. It's time to update the fleet to vehicle with cruise control that would help improve the drivability and gas mileage.

I got a vehicle with a different license plate other than the assigned one on my contract. It is partially my fault for not verifying the details on the contract before leaving the parking lot. However you would assume the assistant who provide me the vehicle would check the paperwork too before releasing the truck to the customer. I would also suggest assistants ask the customer if they can help answer any questions/concerns about the vehicle. In my case I was the one asking while the assistant just want to leave.

My review is not based on the Coconut Creek location. Is based on the USA Grocers location on Sandalfoot. I had a reservation for the USA but when I went there even if UHAUL says that the reservation is guaranteed, there was no vehicle available, After been told that the vehicle would be available "sometime" in the day you moved my reservation to a different location ane the "$ 50.00" promise about the not availability of the vehicle customer service told me that to have the $ 50.00 I had to cancel the reservation. Uhaul this time you really provided a nightmare service. Nothing to do with Coconut Creek location where everybody was really nice and efficient.

You have a gentleman there who checked the truck when I returned dit. I can't remember his name but he said he was part Salvador. His last name was short, like Nalio ... This was at the Johnson Road and Hillsboro Uhaul. If you can, let him know that I apporeciated everything he did for me. Very kind and very patient. If he is not manager, he very well should be. He is definitely management material. I should hire him.

My original reservation canceled, second reservation was at a far location, return location was not what I asked for in the original reservation and I had to wait for 40 minutes on the line so I dont get overcharged for no reason. The new location for return was also 15 minutes away although the location I chose was much closer. When I arrived at returns I was asked to pay an extra 42$ for mo apparent reason. U haul is a brand name and I cant believe I spent nearly the same time fighting with you instead of packing up my house.

The Truck return process - after hours - Horrible It should not be the customers responsibility to do your job. It is a time consuming process to do the truck return process on your phone late at night. In the past this was done the next morning by your staff. Now, you want to bill me $20.00 extra to do what you use to do which is and was your job. Find another way to not bill me to do your job.

When the 24/7 access system is down, management needs a backup plan for folks who have paid for AND signed a contract for such access. I.e. pay an employee to stay on-site after hours until fixed.

Billed me $127 for turning in my tow dolly late, which was incorrect. Had to be later refunded to me. Then sent me an email regarding a storage unit bill, which I never rented (still ongoing).
