My specific unit is not lit, door is 1/2 the size of all the other 10x10 units, was told the charge would be slightly higher because of a first floor but was charged highest price ,

I think that it’s crazy that a one day (less than 24 Hours) cost the same as renting the truck for 2 days. Now I finished my moving faster than I expected and said what the hell j will return the truck early and save some money, but come to find out it a set price for two days of a uhaul. I think that you should change the policy and make a daily rate with mileage instead of standard two days, just my opinion and I’m sure you hear a lot of them) thank you for listening and have a great day

Truck was just returned from a previous rental and not cleaned at all. Where reservation showed 3 more trucks available. At least lady at front desk was friendly
Anthony VI believe if you stopped allowing clients to forgo your Collision Insurance if they do not have Commercial coverage your website should inform your clients of this so they don’t have to wait be told this when they show up to pick up the vehicle. Even your Point of Sale system in your stores still offers the option to decline your coverage although you no longer offer it. This is a classic case of bait and switch and false advertising. Your clients/consumers deserve better.
Fitzgerald BFrom a $19.95 rental, it cost me $122.00. Mo one at your company can give me a logical explanation. They said I had 100 miles included. My rental fee was $89. Looks like I was charged for the milage. I brought the van back on time. I did take the insurance. When you return the van they don't give you a invoice, they say just leave the keys. Your company doesn't want you to see the charges. Such deception.
MICHAEL AI rented a trailer for 6 hours and returned it before the deadline, leaving it at the location, but I didn't finish it on the app because I didn't know about it and they charged me another rental amount. I have the photo with the date and time that I left the equipment at the location. I would like a refund of this amount charged.

And the transmission was making noises and was very jerky. I ve driven quite a few moving trucks in my time and without a doubt this was the most uncomfortable and most dangerous rental truck.

Leon MI didn't like the service, they charged me more, saying that I used more miles even though I proved it with a photo of when I picked it up and when I returned it. They didn't care about helping me, but instead left me at a loss. I claimed several times that I had the photo to prove that they were wrong, they just kept quiet and said, "There's nothing they can do for me, this is a robbery against me. It's the first time I've rented something and I've already been through this."

I put in 3 gallons right before drop-off and they charged me for way more than that. Not happy about that whennI was told to just leave the truck the truck there I would be emailed a receipt. Especially since I had pictures of the of the odometer at pick up and drop off. I felt scammed.

AMOS KCheck the truck before giving it out. The driver’s mirror was broken and it was frustrating to have to keep rolling down the window to adjust. To rent a truck that needs gas is absurd. When I realized I was going to be a little late with the return, I called the location. It would have been helpful if I was told where the key drop box was so I didn’t need to walk all over the property.
FRAN WI didn’t authorize to be removed from this unit ultimately you gave all my belongings to a person who I’m not related to or married to so besides losing all of that the facility was good

I could not get the truck because your lady employee at the time of renting the truck on Feb 22nd link the driver I had hired to drive to my account with you. He suppose to owe you money and I had no idea of it. When I arrived to your facility in Coconut Creek, I told her that I had 2 people and that either one could drive. The 2 men gave her their driver's license and her first choice was Mr. Leroy, the man who suppose to owe you money. She took his Dr license and linked it to my account when checking it. I never told her to link him to my account, but she did and then, I was blocked and banned from renting a truck because Mr Leroy owes you money and she told me that I couldn't rent a truck from UHaul until Mr Leroy pays his debt to you. I told her at first thad I had hired both men to drive and that either could drive the truck. She had no reason or rights to link Mr Leroy to my account!! She should have put the other choice I had to drive the truck and tell me of Mr Leroy's record with you, but she linked him to my account when I never told her to do that. I rented storage from you for many years. I had 2 storage units at a time too. I always pay my bills on time and I was shocked when your employee told me she couldn't rent me the truck until Mr Leroy pay his debt. In other words, if he never pays his debt to you, I am banned and blocked from doing business with UHaul! I was and I am very upset, she caused me a lot of money. It took me 7 hours to get another truck from another company. Feb 22nd was a Sunday and I could only do the move on that day. I also had hired 2 men to do the moving and I had to pay them a total of $400, paid $200 to each man for the 3 hours work I hired them to do at $20 an hour this last Sunday. Both men stayed with me helping me to find another truck and we didn't get done moving the things until 10:00 pm, they started working for me as of noon February 22nd. to do a 3 hours job by moving boxes out of your storage unit # 2127. I am very dissappinted, angry, outraged and I don't plan to ever use UHAUL again. I deserve an apology from you, you ought to fix your problems and to never do to others what was done to me!! Michael PWhen I returned the truck, I wanted a written receipt to see the final charges. I was told it would be emailed. I insisted on hard copy and had to wait. No one went over the charges with me. I did not like this. Recommend you go over final charges with explanation with the customer .

Lisa MI returned the car that they rented me and the Sun Pass transponder was left inside. I returned yesterday afternoon to look for it and the man who cleaned the car removed it from the car. Now it hasn't shown up and nobody knows anything. I returned today to see if anyone knew and nobody can give me any information. I think it's very bad service that they don't have a lost and found room. Bad service. I will not rent from this company again. I will not recommend it.

The air temperature was always warmer than I would think for an A/C controlled facility. And second: was the elevator. My unit was on the 2 nd floor and two times when I came, the only elevator was out of order and it was very inconvenient because I had planned on putting stuff in the unit so I had to come back. I live 30 min from the facility.

And rude and disrespectful employees. One employee at the storage unit was hearing my conversation with another employee and she took it upon herself to discuss my issues with the client sitting I front of her! Inappropriate and unprofessional. Again Inaul needs to invest in HR training for all employees and additional trucks obviously you are getting the business!

I arrived to find human feces was thrown over the top of my locked storage unit and onto my items i was paying to store there. Upon reporting it to the office i was insulted by the man in the office and nothing was done about it. I had to clean this up myself even though i pay to store items securely at this place. They would not check the cameras, they would not have my unit cleaned, and i did not even get a call back from the manager. I will never rent or storage items at uhaul again. I have posted google reviews with pictures for this location. I have reported it to corporate but still nothing has bene done. The customer service is so bad that the man i spoke to in the office that yelled at me and seemed insulted that i wanted him to do something about the situation, cared more about the nfl team shirt i was wearing more than the situation. This is the worst customer service staff of any place i have been in my life. Not even a little professional.

The Johnson location needs more staff because my 1st reservation on Saturday Aug 5th wasn’t fulfilled within the right time because there was only 1 lady working that shift. The customer service reps on the phone and the reps inside the store are not on the same page so there is a lot of miscommunication. I experienced a delayed reservation which had to be rescheduled & An oversight as it pertained to a storage unit & a rude costumer service rep (on the phone) who had no empathy. But I must say - Maureen Smart & Eddie were the 2 people who made sure that every inconvenience was sorted and truly explained and communicated everything effectively. They showed genuine care & I’m really moved to write this review due to them. Moving on your own for the first time isn’t easy. Maureen Smart took time to explain, fix and made sure everything was fair & dealt with. Thankyou Ms. Maureen Smart.

She lied about the availability of storage units, wildly shouted at me and my son that we were just trying to hire a service, influenced other employees to treat me and my son badly and telling the servers not to do what the u haul app was saying it should be done, stating that this store was hers and she would do whatever she wanted. I have to do the online check in because they recuse to do it in person in the way that it should be done. we were treated badly and coerced. definitely would not recommend this unit to friends.

I called and the lady couldn’t understand or address the issue. She kept saying I was vacated by the manager because my unit was up for auction!

I will put my experience with U-HAUL on the internet so other can see. The truck had a messed up front , the windshield washer only worked on the passenger side. They gave me reservation for the free month rental and the first place didn't have it so sent me a public storage that is not owned by u-haul so they didn't give a free month. They gave me a third location and they could not give paperwork because printer didn't work and they didn't tell me about you have to have a special code for 24 he access. I will not recommend U-haul to anyone.
TIM B | First ImpressionsI had my unit for 3 years, and paid extra for 24-hour access. Very often, I couldn't get to my storage late at night because the access lane was blocked by trucks. On the day I went to empty my storage and close my account, they were waxing the floors in the middle of the day and had "caution" tape hung across the door to the storage building. When I complained to the manager and told him he was ridiculous for doing such a thing, one of his employees threatened to assault me and had to be restrained by his coworkers. I would rather leave my things in a stranger's backyard than ever rent from U-Haul!

I requested the manager notify me when the elevator was back up and running so when could get the items on time to the event. I received nothing. I called and was held on a call for an hour. I screwed shot The hold call and sent it to the manger asking for someone to come to the phone. Instead of receiving an apology for the wait, I was told she was on lunch and her staff was busy. I still needed storage but I was sure to get the rest of my things out of their and took my business else where. I will share this on Google for you all too.

I kept getting calls and emails from the location telling me I can’t check out online and that I owe. I forwarded the email and finally told them to stop calling me. Would not recommend this location at all.

The the alarm system did not work properly and it did not matter to enter the code corrctly every time the alam sounded when open the storage unit and it was loud and disturbing. Lights will turn off very fast and the unit was in total dark very annoing to keep going to the hall to activate the lights frequently. Most of the staff was nice but some were not very friendly.

You can pull up the recorded phone records and see that I have been trying to get a storage and turn in the u hual for several days but was promoted to extend the U-Haul for 3-4 days because of a mistake on your end !! I also was not granted any compensation or voucher for extra millage and days with the U-Haul ! I do not think this is fare at all ! If I am charged extra I will be disputing the charges due to unsatisfactory with the service and product !

Even the truck is terrible, it takes a long time to change gears, it looks like it's going to explode, never have such a big loss with uhal. I rented at CoconutCreeck to come to Kissimmee +/- 180miles. I spent 95 dollars of gasoline, an absurd, came to 65/70 mhp as you should see in the truck's gsp. Today when I went to the drop off I lost another 8 tolls and 1 hour because no GPS can find the address they put in the truck. After finding and arriving at the place at 5:05pm it is already closed. absurd!! As I don't have time to go back another time, I stopped the truck behind where there were others and threw the key into the place. Bad experience this time with U-Haul. Spending $95 to walk 180 miles I can't imagine doing it again.

It can get very congested and many of the folks that use storage facilities tend to be unsavory and inconsiderate people especially when parking and blocking the loading entrance. Today there was a bunch of trash strewn at the entrance to the elevator and a skinhead looking guy standing right by the door smoking a joint in front of everyone. I’m sure that’s a one off but maybe if staff were keeping an eye on that entrance they can improve the situation a bit.

The staff that did my initial process wasn’t nice at all and failed to let me know that I had to get a specific round lock for the unit when I asked she said that any was fine. It was then when I was already living 5 hours away that I kept getting calls about that I needed a new lock because it wasn’t “correct” and once I finally was able to move back down to the area I couldn’t access my unit with out paying a fee for something that should’ve been told to me initially. When I switched debit cards I forgot to update it on my account and was so used to doing autopay instead of calling or emailing me I get emailed a week later about getting a late fee, that again could’ve been easily fixed if I got contacted about it before the bill was due. Another experience I had with getting a moving truck here wasn’t too pleasant either. If I do have to do storage with uhaul again I’ll have to try a different location.

A week before we were moving our stuff out, we had driven from our house (40 mins away) to the unit to find out the elevator was broken and the stuff we needed to put in wouldn’t fit in the stairwell. A few days later, we needed to book movers for our move out and the Uhaul representative on the phone assured me the elevator would be working because it would be a week from then (surely it wouldn’t take more than a week to fix the elevator!! And surely if it wasn’t fixed, we’d be told so we could plan accordingly!!) Well guess what? It didn’t happen. After we paid $300 for our movers...expecting it to take a certain amount of time based on the time it took us to move in WITH the elevator...it took the FULL time for the movers to move everything down the stairs and they couldn’t complete the job. They had another appointment after us so they couldn’t help us unload at our house. If we had been aware of the elevator being out of service, we wouldn’t have spent $300 on movers! Thanks for the awesome communication, Uhaul.

I received confirmation that the unit on the first floor was available. When I went to get into the truck the person told me it was in the “garage” so I went looking for it, after several minutes of walking I was not able to find it because it wasn’t there, it was in the other side of the building so you can understand I was a little frustrated. After a long day of moving, my help and I arrived back to unload and place everything in the unit I had made the reservation in the 1st floor, we started unloading and bringing about 2 trips inside just to find out that the unit was still occupied!!!!! Horrible! I went back inside and the woman said it happens often, well it’s unacceptable! We had to load everything back and drive to the side of the building to store in the 2nd floor. I was livid and so my was help, extremely disappointed at the lack of communication and customer service.

What if I had planned on loading furniture into my storage unit the day I got the keys to my 2nd floor unit?! Outrageous. Also, it took us over 30 minutes to locate our unit as the key card was not working. I understand they aren’t doing unit showings due to COVID but the front desk lady did a horrible job at explaining where the unit was and how to access it. She told us only how to access it from the elevator (WHICH WAS BROKEN) and said nothing about stairs. We were drenched in sweat running around the building trying every single door. Only for her to finally explained after 30 minutes of getting lost that we have to use the stairs (and no key card is needed?!?!) since the elevator is broken. Such a waste of time. I pray that the elevator is not broken next weekend when I move my things into my storage unit. After this experience, I will not rent here again. For the price I paid, I expected much better.

She proceeded to tell me to return the truck first, only to have the other employee tell to go get the unit first. One she was done helping another customer I explained I need the unit first. I had to repeat the size of the unit I needed 3 times. She finally gave me the entry Card with no map, unloaded my truck headed to the unit only to find out it was a handicap unit. I had to return to her once again and told her she had given me the wrong unit. Her reaction was apologetic at all. Got back on the computer and gave me the unit furthest away from the elevation and not once apologize for giving the wrong unit on purpose. I have been to uhaul mover 10 times and this is by far the worse service I’ve had at uhaul. Jimena Chumbe should be retrained. My customers receipt number is 7880-28-102331-109616. Due to lack of professionalism I wasted 1 hour going back and forth dealing my return by an hour. The rest of the staff was great.

Ana K | Overall ExperienceI rented a truck on 06/10 at 06:00pm to deliver on the same day around 11:00pm. Nobody told me that the storage would be closed at 10pm. I was told all the time that it would be 24h for me. I arrived on 06/10 at night with the truck totally loaded and for my surprise, my access was denied and I couldn't get in the building. I called the customer service but the lady couldn't do anything. I had to come back to my house with the truck. On the other day, 06/11, I went to the Uhaul Store (Coconut Creek, Johnsons Rd, FL) @ 7am and I told them about the inconvenient that I had and I would pay only one day of rent because I couldn't unload the truck due to a Uhaul's fault. An attendant called Jimena agreed with that. On the 06/11 I went to the uhaul storage to unload the truck around 06pm. Same msg appeared on the device's screen next to the door: "ACCESS DENIED" as soon as I put my code. I ran to the office and told them about that same message that was also appearing on the day before. The attendant said: "You should swipe your card" and I said: "Nobody gave me a card" and the attendant was surprised. He went to the office and brought back a card and said" Use this card". I started unloading the truck and around 06:50pm I swiped the card and the same msg appeared: "ACCESS DENIED" I ran to the office again while they were locking the door. They were very rude, saying that the system was already closed and they didn't know if they could do something about. I found a customer, an old man, and he told me that there is a main device that we need to swipe the card first and it worked. The Uhaul's attendants were very unprepared. I told them that it was my first time and even this way they didn't instruct me properly and/or they didn't know about their own internal process. For my new surprise, when I was returning the truck by the website: www.uhaul.com/share, I was charged for both days instead of one as the attendant Jimena agreed to do I really really really do not recommend the Uhaul Storage of Coconut Creek and I would like you guys to proceed with only one day of rent. Also, just to let you guys know, I rented an space of 10x15" for around 3 months but I wont do that in the future with Uhaul Coconut Creek (Johnsons Road).
