Truck completely empty on gas upon pickup. The woman working was very nice but I can’t understand how I spent an extra $150 on fuel and don’t receive a fuel credit unless I return it with a quarter tank? Why on earth would I spend any more money? Just makes no sense to me. The employees and service were great but this you got horribly wrong.

Online I reserved an appliance dolly and when I picked up my rental at this Corona location there were none available. I was sent to a different location and when I got there they did not want to give me one without contact the original location where reservation was made, call after call the Corona location did not answer the phone. I lost an hour of my time dealing with this while my movers were back home not being able to move my appliances without the dolly. If something is not available I don’t understand why it’s advertised online.

I wanted a low cost solution. Originally made reservation round trip to MURRIETA off Jefferson rd. Stupid app wouldn't let me take advantage of storage promotion because it's buggy as f*** so I called and we changed the reservation to One Way IN MURRIETA off Jefferson rd. Then I can't set up my storage unit ahead of time and phone is not allowed/website gives error. I go in to Corona and my reservation is pulled up and I ask a couple of questions about why the price is suddenly higher then what I was estimating through the app and the misleading advertisement of cost to which I was at least given a fair response so I'm asked to confirm the truck to Jefferson st to which I said yes and asked questions about the drop off details and the fact my mileage was going to be over the set amount, which is fine and I sign and take the truck without having to review it closely like a fucking lawyer. That shouldn't make all that f****** small print just put the important s*** in large print and you should make your employees f****** mention the important s*** like the f****** city it's going to. I go to Murrieta and get a storage unit and then the unit is off fucking location. Then I get back after hours and the drop off doesn't work. I'll provide details on drop off comment box. BUT, I eventually realize you bastards set the fucking drop off to the adjacent fucking city! Temecula on Jefferson. So I'm wasting my time and my ride was already in motion to the fucking Murrieta location! Shitty! I was not intending on dealing with four f****** locations. To be fair though you workers were good about the gas estimation after I brought it up that the original was lower than it stated and you guys fixed it favorable to me so thank you for that part.

Make sure the truck as at least 1/2 tank of gas. Myself and at least one other customer the gas gauge was on empty. My truck even had the gas light on. This can be stressful because you don't really know how much gas is left.

There were 2 homeless people in the truck when we picked it up. The attendant moved the truck and didn’t know they were inside. There was a small mess in there and it smelled. There wasn’t another truck available so they had to clean that one.

The employees were overwhelmed at opening time. The vehicle I rented for 4 hours was blocked in. We were told that an employee is currently moving vehicles in order to free several vehicles but unfortunately, he had 10 vehicles to move. If there had been enough coverage scheduled then that could have been avoided. All of the employees I came in contact with were friendly and professional. I was left feeling like they were doing their best but I was nervous that I wouldn't be able to complete my task that I had rented the vehicle for in time since it took so long to get out of the parking lot.

The dolly we paid for was not included with the truck, had to go back for it which wasted miles and gas. The ramp was broken and ended up being a huge inconvenience to use the entire day. The locking mechanism wasn’t working so it needed to be lifted and placed into the latch on the truck every time. And putting the ramp back was just as difficult, it getting stuck at the last few inches. Which made the entire move significantly more difficult.

Not so many after costs. Met them know of simply water is spilled that can cost 25 dollars. Or if the gas is 7/8 full that will cost 15 dollars as well. Then to add on I had to pay 15 dollars more for being 3 more miles then 77.

I couldn't easily park the Uhaul in the unloading zone because a trailer was parked in the way. The storage I reserved said it was on the first floor, but it was up a flight of stairs. I told the guy I was looking for something on the first floor and something a little bigger, and he still rented to unit to me without explaining it was upstairs. I asked if there was anything else available and he said it was only huge units which wouldn't be covered for free with a 20' one way truck rental. It kinda seemed like he was zoning out while I explained what I needed. I had to break down a big husky rack to fit in the unit and my buddy cut his chin on it and needed stitches and a tetanus shot. I would have picked a different location had I known I'd have to go upstairs. The lady I returned the truck to was really nice though!

The truck I rented was not available when I arrived to pick it up. I was disappointed & was told there was nothing they could do because the previous renter had not returned it on time. Another employee gave me the option of renting a bigger truck for the same price. It turned out that another truck was returned soon after and I was able to use that one.....but I appreciated the gesture of accommodating my needs. The truck we rented served its purpose, but sounded like the engine was having some issues. Overall, good experience.

Check in was horrible. Had a 7am reservation location doesn’t open till 9. When I booked the reservation with the location representative she never once ever said anything about that. Had to book through the app. Had to call customer service to approve so I could continue once I got to the verify screen of the process. Got the keys. The truck had the check engine light on. The truck was on empty fuel. This is wild. I literally had to leave the location and go immediately to the gas station. Return process homeless people all around the location. No signage of where to pull in and return. I get it the truck was affordable and that is why people will continue to keep them in business. I will pay a little bit more and go to Penske next time.

The computer system was down so I tried to get the app. By the time I figured it out, the system was up. 30 minutes wasted. You mean no contingency plan? Really? The truck assigned had a dead battery. When I was given another truck it was found that the tank was drained by local homeless. Your employee was quite indifferent. The rental sheet did not reflect the number of the truck I was assigned, and I had to insist on an updated receipt because if for some reason the Police stopped me their job would be to investigate. Your employee assured me that the Police had only to call and that would fix things. I have never been on hold less than 20 minutes with U-Haul and I doubt a cop would wait. Oh I know, how about printing a new sheet so I wouldn't get accused of stealing a truck Like I would want that piece of shit anyway. I hope this sums it up How to improve? Maybe do the basics like check battery and fuel. What a transformative idea that would be.

First of all when I got to the location to pick up my truck the 2 kids that were there said there system was down and to use the app. Ok I tried that after 15 frustrating minutes getting no where really the one kid said the system is back up and we proceeded with the rental the kid said we don’t have the hand truck you ordered on 6-17-26 I said WHAT! How am I going to move the heavy stuff to which the kid was very un helpfull over all the service I received and the way the truck was the right hand side bottom mirror kept coming undone I finally said just leave it if I crash it will be there flat for unsatisfactory equipment. Overall I would never ever rent a truck from this U-Haul location again never ever.

The outtside was trash every where and random stuff laying around but other than that the customer servicevwas great but i was emptying 2 storagge units so i got quite busty so after i left as i had to go to perris pod place to unload stuff i had in a pid so i forgot to tell the employee about how the ignition for the key is like loose and sometimes it gets stuck to come oyt i was switched to anothe u haul from the employee for some reason? And he went in and gave me a different key for another u haul that wasnt the one first rented to me so i am concerned that theres a reason for them doing that but they were friendly and efficiant but a couple issues that shoukd of been noted as to the condition of the truck like stated and the truck seemed to not engaege while driving it but it is ok but i expected to get a truck that didnt have issues but all turned out fine and i wil be returning it prob tonight as i had it for 2 days one way

I spoke to the GM of this location prior to my move out date personally face to face in the month of May and told him that I will not be keeping my storage in the month of June and will move out my stuff my then and to cancel my storage. He then went and processed a payment in the month of July from a family member that I did not want so they were basically lost on there money paying for a storage that I had no items in or access too as I threw away my key and had no desire to EVER RETURN TO THIS FACILITY. Then when I contacted him on in the month of July to cancel the storage and to issue a refund to the people I didn't want paying my storage.he tells me I have to sign a release form saying I am releasing my storage unit and retrieved my belongings.i fill out the form and send it to him via email. He calls me back again and says my signature is too small that I have to refile the form and send it again ?? Then takes two weeks to finally cancel my storage and send this feeback form ?That was my signature regardless the size. I felt discriminated against by this GM with his sarcasm courtesy and belittling condescending demeanor .

The staff is very helpful at this location. I appreciate the cleanliness and bug-free units. The temperature is kept comfortable. The hours are reasonable, but did need to come back the next day because they close earlier than I usually need, but that was a work-around I was able to do.

I had a reservation to get a 6 x 10 x 10 storage unit so I went in to get it and it took three hours to get I had a trailer I was pulling that I had rented from Home Depot I didn’t make it back in time so they charge me another day because I was stuck in line trying to get my storage unit you guys were slow

While transferring my things to my storage compartment I am under great suspicion that someone walked up and stole my Nintendo switch it's been missing since I first dropped my things off. This happened right outside the store's storage entrance which has cameras. This was the day I checked in and dropped off my U-Haul truck rental. So it was day time at the storage facility on the store grounds someone walked up and stole it out of the U-Haul truck on property grounds. I asked a store rep. If he can check the cameras for what actually happened that day. He said he would call.. never got a return call...

Constantly the computers would be down and kids work there never answers the phone instead just sit around on their sale phone. I had a 50 dollar VIP voucher and the kid said the computer couldn't accept it at the moment ,he said that he could call corp and see if there was something to do about it but he didnt want to cause it was Sunday and they probably wouldn't answer anyways . I called and got someone on the phone within minutes. The corporate customer service manager then tried to call and they never could get them to answered either I had to go and tell the kids their boss was on the phone then they answered and only after speaking to her and their manager did they try to work something out then he told me they could only discount it 30 bucks unless he called someone to get it changed on the other end which I said call then so in the end they honoree the 50 dollar voucher but only after I did way more work then I should have had to do on my end . Also In the mix I had lost my key to my lock and knew how to drill the lock with out damaging anything to which I was told I'm not aloud and would need to pay a lock smith which is 170 -200 dollars . Just FYi your policy is bs when I went to drill the lock I was stopped so I called the police to which they were agrivated about even wasting time on this they told me and the workers at the uhaul that the lock was my property and so was what is in side the locker that it is unlawful to stop me from poping the lock myself . So in the end I popped it myself. This scar taxtic is crazy on uhaul side . So In the end all experience was terrible both on the Chicago uhaul side and even more on the riverside location . I have never been met with such horrible, lazy customer service. Theres a whole other experience listed on my file of when I moved in . I will say everyone I spoke to on the phone from corporate was very respectful and helpful never had an issue with them .there is so much wrong with the riverside location I am surprised they are allowed to used the uhaul name .

The lady at the facility was incredibly helpful and polite despite being so busy. She carries herself well and a great representative of the company. Here great spirits and positive vibes helps enhance the experience despite some long waits and processing time. Awesome experience.

Just want to thank the management and staff at Uhaul of Corona for always being so friendly every time i would go. I would of kept my unit but the drive from Hemet to corona wasn't working for me.
