The checkout process is long and arduous. I really don't like you guys taking pictures of my driver's license to put on the contract. Why can't you just write down the license number on the contract like the rental car companies? The prices are good, but the checkout is ugly!Keith R.

U-Haul was filthy. Hood and windshield were spattered with mud. The tank was below E so I had to immediately go to the gas station because I was afraid of getting stranded right away. I stressed my concern, and the guys were not helpful in providing a solution like adding gas or giving me another truck that had more gas.Ryan L.

The amount of gas listed on my receipt was incorrect it was at 1/4 tank not 7/8 and Juan Paez-Montiel said he would make the correction on the computer. When I checked the truck in with a half of tank of gas they wanted to charge me for not filling up to 7/8 of a tank. Also although I only drove 60 miles Corona, Ca to N. Hollywood they charged me 65 miles over 55 mile limit.I feel that I uhaul is a fraud and will never use them again.Dennis M.

Ensure that there is a vehicle check on the vehicles BEFORE rental. My gas tank sensor (attached to the gas tank) on the 26ft family mover was broken off (due to either a defect or somebody trying to siphon gas). I was leaking gas for 2 miles and pulled over.Keep in mind I rented the truck in California, where gas is $5/gal. I called Uhaul and my problem was resolved by roadside assistance in an hour or soarmando A.

While transferring my things to my storage compartment I am under great suspicion that someone walked up and stole my Nintendo switch it's been missing since I first dropped my things off. This happened right outside the store's storage entrance which has cameras. This was the day I checked in and dropped off my U-Haul truck rental. So it was day time at the storage facility on the store grounds someone walked up and stole it out of the U-Haul truck on property grounds. I asked a store rep. The service light for the airbag kept coming on sporadically, and the AC controls were glitchy. All of that aside, my biggest complaint was the extra $20 charge I received for bringing the vehicle back after hours. This is a total scam! I called the location to ask why I was charged this fee. The guy who answered the phone asked me if I told them I would be bringing it back after they closed. I told him that I absolutely told the manager that helped me that I would be bringing it back at 8 pm and I entered that time when I booked it online. He then told me that the person who checked me out (again the manager) should have told me that I had to check the vehicle in online. I told him that noone told me that. He then told me that it was written on the contract that you had to check the vehicle in online to avoid the fee. I reviewed the contract. It was NOT! I explained this to the person on the phone, who then said, "well, there are signs posted everywhere." I asked him where they were because I had to drive and walk around a dark lot to find where to drop the keys.. The person who checked me out did not bother to tell me where the drop box was or to pull the van up for me. He was in such a hurry to leave he handed me the keys and pointed put the van on the lot. What was advertised as $19.95 was sold to me at $47 and somehow ended up costing me $72. Totally ridiculous and then the people working there treat you as if you are stupid when you ask why.Kerry D.

So, first location, the previous renter did not return the truck and apparently didn't leave a proper call back number. However the women who was helping me was great and found me another truck. At the other location, I went from getting my $50 credit to no credit. The truck was empty on gas, and when I filled it the gas gage didn't work properly. On top of that the alignment to the truck was off and I had to hold the wheel at a 15 degree angle to go straight. When I told the person when dropping of the truck he said, "that is normal for these trucks." When I called the customer service number they were helpful and listened. But really didn't seem to care of all my issues. They all seem small, but when moving this add up the anxiety of having to move.Antonio P.

When I returned the trailer to 314 E 6th Street Corona around 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday 11/17/21 I was appalled at how many homeless people in cars were in and on the property. I was afraid to walk from the parking lot into your facility's office area. I can't understand why there is not a eight foot chain link fence around the property, especially for your customer and employee's safety. Plus it would stop equipment being vandalized and gas being siphoning out of returned vehicles with full gas tanks.Roxanna W.

Well let me start by saying one you change my date of departure twice without informing me or calling me to you changed the location where I'm going to pick the RV or I'm going to pick the trailer up without calling me or texting me so I would give you guys a zero-star on that.! Am I upset absolutely the only saving grace, would be to let you know that Shari at your Corona on 6th and Main Street Sherry Siri was absolutely redeemed all your qualities that you did not show she was fantastic I would recommend that woman at that location to anybody and everybody thank you Sherry for fixing all the bad things that U-Haul did.! That doesn't excuse you guys okay you guys still are in my s*** list for all the things that you did wrong.! I use you guys and now I'm very worried about what I have to do it to get a U-Haul.!
