Horrible experience! My order with al payment info etc was deleted by staff as a duplicate order. We were given keys to truck went back to speak with Staff about no gas in the truck. Then after we left we were called about no payment on file and threatened with being reported as a stolen vehicle. Manager thought he hung but and then proceeded to trash talk me to his staff. Henry Jones and the young lady he was training was a breathe of fresh air. It has been 20 years since I had to rent a truck. He explained the process, answered all questions this was where he went above and beyond. He knew his company information front and back. Uhaul should be honored to have a bright young man who is proud of his company and he goes the extra mile to make sure the customer is satisfied but understands the process... Customer service was horrible. Everyone acted like they didn't want to be there. Didn't even offer to show me which truck was the one I rented. I walked up to the counter and the lady just stared at her computer while I waited at the counter. Then had the audacity to look at me like, "do you need something?" At what professional business is this acceptable? Every customer should be greeted with proper manners. I would say maybe she was having a bad day, but she did the EXACT same thing when I showed up the next day. This location needs to do some serious work on their staff. We originally rented at a location by our house to save on mileage since we were just cleaning out old furniture and picking up new furniture all within a 5 mile radius. When we showed up to pick up the truck we reserved 3 miles from our house it was not available. We had to go 17 miles away to get the truck so that was an extra 22 miles that we were charged for mileage. I was very disappointed that we were charged for the extra mileage to pick up and drop off at the new location since we originally arranged pick up and drop off three miles away.Jennifer C.

They have changed mangers so much when you go inside you don’t know who’s the manger and who’s not on my due date I have people calling me on the same day my storage is due and I got a $15 late fee the same day and then the manger had used my credit card cause I paid my bill with her with my card she used my card the next month and paid my bill and said that I told her to sign me up for autopsy why would I tell a person I heartily even know to do that how do you just use a person card without their permission this area can not ever keep no manger at every time you go there it’s a bunch of people hanging out in the front of the office like they just came from a club they are so unprofessional and ghetto it used to not be like this right now no one has no respect for anyone I love my storage other than that I have been with uhaul since 2017 but the choice with management now is terriblelinnea l. | First Impressions

The attendant was rude. I got there, and had reserved a 15 ft truck, a regular dolly, AND a furniture dolly. The attendant reluctantly checked me in and told me to go find my truck and I was all set. Lucky for me, I checked for the dolly and the furniture dolly before leaving the lot. These were VERY necessary to complete my move and I was paying someone to help, so would have been costly in time and effort without. NOTHING was in the truck. I went to ask the unfriendly attendant about this. She replied, pointing, â€œthere's a dolly over there, but we don't have any furniture dolly.â€ I was upset because I had ordered this way ahead of time. She acted like I was just out of luck. I got more upset and angry and told her that I couldn't complete my move without this item. Finally she called the other location way down Government street and they had one. She told me I could drive over (at .99 per mile as well as gas there and back) and pick it up. My movers were showing up and I'm having to run around obtaining equipment that should have been on my truck at pick up. U-Haul knew it was reserved for days, but couldn't be bothered to be organized enough to have it there for me and in my truck. Terrible customer service.Michelle M.

The only thing I dislike about this storage facility is access to second floor. No elevators. Everything has to be physically carried. I understand it’s a historical building and the city will not allow it, but if customer satisfaction is a priority, why not consider adding it on the outside. No the truck was out line bounding all over the if I don't hold the wheel tight the airbag light was on the brakes squeak and the doors was very hard to close then to add insult to injury I told the rep I may need to keep truck another day he stated just call let us know when I call the manager yelling or speaking loud causing to become angry because he tried to put fear in me telling me he had rented the truck out to another customer I had to bring it back because I called to late this was very stressful what he did to me and told him I was going to tell him about hiself when I returned the truck the manager had on mask the rep didn't inside or outside didn't show me the gas level so I had to find gas gage for myself then he said he saw me drop off at goodwill which made me feel some type a way the check out and check in was suspicious â€¦. There needs to be more help at this location. There was one person working and she was hustling. She did a great job but she was stretched way too thin. She was very helpful and informative. Also, as a side note, we went over on our predicted mileage but filled up the tank before returning it.
