Our boxes were late being delivered and late being picked up. We called the office and were asked if delivery could be pushed a day because the team was behind. We'd already explained the previous day that we could not because we had a 1 day blocking permit and we'd hired movers. We were told that the drivers couldn't be reached so there was no time frame to be given. When it was time for the boxes to be picked up, they were a day late. When we called the previous day to inquire, we were given the same answer as when we called for original delivery. The answers were evasive and I don't think they understood that there were financial implications to their lateness for us.Richard G.

Keep the truck return employees on site longer than 7pm. I got there at 7:06 and they had closed the main building already. When I looked up the location ok google it said they closed at 9 pm. This needs to be rectified.MONTEL H.

The process of getting my U Box shipped required hours of speaking to customer service reps who had little to know idea what they had to do- they frequently gave me incorrect information, sent me from one session of being on hold to another and seemed poorly informed on how U Boxes worked or were shipped. I don't hold them at fault- they all tried to be helpful. The amount of frustration I experienced, including getting my things delivered after two weeks of attempting to contact someone who could help me, greatly limits the chance of me using U Haul again if I move.William H.

Figure out the 24/7 pick-up service offered because I ended up having to talk to a representative at the store when I shouldn't have had to. I waited for over a half an hour for a live attendant online to have me add a contact to verify my existence. The person helping me was nice, but expected me to back your 12 foot trailer into a specific parking space on your lot. The lot has a huge return area where the customer is prompted to drop off the equipment. I was asked to leave that area and park, which I wasn't able to do because I don't work for Uhaul and have no experience parking large trailers on your lots--that seems to be an employee responsibility and not the customer's. The person directing me said it was MY responsibility. You might want to clarify your process with this location. I don't believe the company would want your average customer backing large equipment up in your tight parking lots. I can assure you your customer's don't want to do it.James D.

I will be using a different U-Haul pick up location. The person who assisted us (I believe her name was Amanda) was not friendly, rude and condescending. Very disappointed in her customer service. I've never rented a truck before and she made the experience unpleasant. She also misquoted the mileage and said that for every mile we go over it is $1.05. This made me rethink my routes and put limits on what I would do. That number was wrong, it was only $0.40 per extra mile. I would have done a lot of things differently if she had quoted me correctly. The truck was parked so close to the next one that it took me almost 15 minutes to back it out (even though the parking lot was not full). I also rented a dolly 2-weeks in advance but when I got there they told me that there wasn't one available other than a large appliance dolly. They would not allow the charge we expected with the other dolly and up charged us for the dolly we didn't order. It's not my fault that the location was out of dollys, we should have been given the same price as what we ordered. Needless to say, I wish I had gone with a different location for pick-up. Make sure the trucks are always âœ”ï¸ after each driver. The first truck I got driver light was out and if I didn't inspect it I would've been on the road eligible. Then the 10' I got next trim around the windshield started flapping off and hanging down in front the driver window. General manager was a complete jerk, a few staff members were rude, unhelpful, and staff member even made a point to stop me and to inquire about a tattoo I had just to call me a racist and didn’t like me being there even when I tried to assure her I was not at all a racist. On one visit as I entered storage area I could here a domestic fight inside the building went to tell staff members of hearing a person being slapped told to keep quiet and the sound of a woman crying but had not idea where they were located being they may have been inside a unit, staff members took no concern to at least investigate never even got up to take a look. Landon and his staff were all very friendly, knowledgeable about products, trucks, and storage unit sizes to help fit our needs. What could have been a horrible experience moving 2 separate large homes into storage over 2 different weeks and then moving everything out and into a new home one month later all went fairly smoothly with their expert help. They guided us to use moving equipment that made the job so much easier and faster than expected. And the new climate comtroled facilities were clean and very secure. All facilities were excellent, the only difference among the 3 was the employee attitudes.
