The main sales floor was understaffed, unfriendly because of being so overworked, couldn't balance the in-person customers and incoming phone calls.David S.
When I set my pick up time it was confirmed for 7am. The night before our move I get a text saying my pick up time is 10am. The next morning a person called asking if I could push the time back to 1030am. We had many people coming to help move and this severely impacted our move in a negative way.BRIAN S.
The employees did not seem to care and more importantly, we were given a faulty truck from this location. Within a couple of hours into the cross-country trip, we experienced a check engine light notification. We contacted the Gravois location and were instructed to keep driving until there are actual issues with the truck. We took that advice and found ourselves on the side of the interstate for 6+ hours dealing with U-Haul's poor customer service, the awful contracted roadside assistance services, and overall unorganized business practices. With your reservation site you need to include a detailed map of how to arrive at your entrance which is really on Merrimac and not on Gravois. I had to do all kinds of driving around to figure out how to get to the entrance. Site was understaffed.ALICE T.

This location was fine, but I originally rented the U-haul from A to Z on Watson Road. Their truck was not in working order, with leaking coolant, so they sent me to the Dutchtown location, which added 45 minutes round trip and forced me to miss another appointment. Additionally, the truck only showed being rented for one day when i had asked for two multiple timesMICHAEL W.
Figure out the 24/7 pick-up service offered because I ended up having to talk to a representative at the store when I shouldn't have had to. I waited for over a half an hour for a live attendant online to have me add a contact to verify my existence. It was a horrible experience and I would not recommend the e-pickup option to anyone.Jazmine L.
The person helping me was nice, but expected me to back your 12 foot trailer into a specific parking space on your lot. The lot has a huge return area where the customer is prompted to drop off the equipment. I was asked to leave that area and park, which I wasn't able to do because I don't work for Uhaul and have no experience parking large trailers on your lots--that seems to be an employee responsibility and not the customer's. The person directing me said it was MY responsibility. You might want to clarify your process with this location. I don't believe the company would want your average customer backing large equipment up in your tight parking lots. I can assure you your customer's don't want to do it.James D.
