Although I had a guaranteed reservation, which specifically guaranteed the time of pickup, they refused to honor the Uhaul guarantee. If fact, they said they never do. If a large, stand alone facility like this doesn't honor it, who does?John H.

After reserving the Uhaul 3 weeks in advance, we were card 2 days before we moved ro say that the truck was not available. Unfriendly rep, who offered her manager to call me back to discuss concerns. Love the climate control for our storage. Video monitors and safety of the facility is a great addition to our security. Several members of the staff were helpful , Robert was especially personable, he was accommodating and kind, even helpful making sure our locks worked etc. best storage experience we’ve had in 25 years! The only problem with this location was that there was only one person working and a very long line to get rentals. Very frustrating. The person that helped me however was knowledgeable and patient once it was my turn.Ron B.
When we picked up our truck the cashier handed us our keys and repeatedly told us to cross check the numbers on the key tag. We did that and also did the walk around. We got to our home and started packing up the truck. The whole over the cab was full and the cashier called and said that â€œWEâ€ took the wrong key, and we needed to bring the truck back immediately. We informed him that we already started loading the truck and he said that that didn't matter we needed to return the truck immediately, we unloaded and took the truck back this cost us $100 due to the fact that we reserved movers and they stood around for one hour waiting to load. This is unacceptable, there's also put us an hour behind on our schedule which held up the new buyers to my home. I will not recommend anyone to use U-Haul on second street.kara M.

Was charged extra day of towing. But I returned it in time. As a result I was charged money. Well, I didn't have enough money in that account. So now I'm charged an overdraft charge and an extra day of rental from U-Haul. Kinda sucks cuz I'm broke. Now I'm screwed until payday :(( I like the people who took my call of east Casper. This is NOT against the staff at the facility where I have storage. I’ve rented multiple trucks and trailers from U-Haul and on two occasions I took advantage of the free month storage; on both of these occasions I completed the reservations online and received confirmation and on both occasions when arriving at the facility, they had no reservations in their systems and I’ve had to complete the process again in the store. The truck had a bunch of mud on the outside. I was sent an app to check out the equipment but it was only for the tow dolly, which I did not pick up at that time. Set a time to pick up tow dolly after loading truck. I was there at that time and still had to wait 45 minutes to get dolly, Ny dolly was not there, reassigned a different one that had an issue with a light. Asked about getting a new drop off location and was told the closes location was picked. It turned out to be the farthest location.Stephen C.

The absolute chaos of the staff and lack of customer service skills is deplorable. They do not know when the equipment will be in or how to explain to people the way there system works. Someone should work on training the staff. All other rental places have a plan for equipment being late. I am not impressed.Robert H.

I booked using the after hours pick up with smart phone, needless to say it was a joke, location had me showing a 5 minute walk that I was at wrong location even though I was at the front door, then I tried by scanning barcode, also didn't work, after 15 minutes of trying I was lucky enough one of your employees was still there and booked me in, this employee was awesome!! I will never use the self check in/ pick up again!Craig D.
I had a good experience and will return. The part where they had to call someone to verify my information was bizarre and could have made it a very miserable day. If they had not been able to get ahold of my wife and I had been held up would have changed the experience dramatically. I should have been informed when I made the reservation. Staff needs to be trained on a aspects of renting and returns. I did not appreciate a call from U-Haul the next day saying I missed my checkin time and wondered when I was going to return the truck. Cashier could not figure out how to refund a cash deposit. It could be because she never checked the truck back in.Christine N.

I was pretty upset that I had a reservation to pick up a truck at 8 o'clock in the morning on Sunday morning it was a confirmed reservation but the store did not open till 9 o'clock so I had 10 guys at my house drinking coffee waiting to roll also I don't like the fact that you pay mileage plus fuel anytime I've worked for a company they pay one or the other I don't understand why your mileage bill is not high enough that you can pay to fuel up your own trucks when I'm doneMatt A.

They wiped down the truck as I was about to load up. There were other furniture blankets in the back and probably the most aggravating part was the tank was 7/8 full. So when I went to fill it back up I just filled it all the way because stopping at 7/8 was absolutely ridiculous. I actually attempted to and by the second time stopping to check if it was at the 7/8 mark, I gave up and just filled it up. It should have been completely full. I lost money because it was only 7/8 full instead of full-full! But honestly, the girls working we kind and super friendly! It was nothing personal against them. Arrived after hours in the evening. The directions to accessing the unit were clear and I was able to move in without problems. The next day I accessed the unit, but forgot to enter my code. I apologized when the attendant showed up in response to the alarm, he explained the issue, explained the access points and how to obtain assistance if needed. The passcode to enter did not work, I had to go into the office and Tom was very helpful with getting us a key card. He got us into a larger unit, but I'm glad we were there during office hours. Everything was fine up until the check out. I was in the process of settling the final bill when the general manager Tom Lambert came over and informed me that I was in the wrong parking spot (as if that matters. A parking spot is a parking spot.) I told him that we were done anyways. We weren't coming back. I was expecting some kind of thank you for your business or a have a good day. Nope!
