Move out was the 6th. I had until the 9th. But that didn't matter , you claimed I owed for another month. If you're employee's do not know how to do their job's then maybe they should be greeters at Walmart.

Directions on how to get in AND out of the building with a vehicle we're not stated online or in-person. Although I rented my unit online I had to go into the office to get things clarified. After I had stored my stuff, I had to call to get instructions how to open the overhead door. The young man that came to help me was very courteous and helpful.

All was great until last couple days. Went in to check when my payment was due and some kid started asking a bunch of questions about my storage unit l have had a unit with you since you opened that facility He told me I couldn’t get in without this new card I had been using a code He said I got an email explaining that you had stopped the codes for entering about a month ago. Well I never got an email of this type ( was not happy )I used this unit as a business storage and many times was after 7 pm but before the 10 pm cut off to stop on my way home to drop off product This was not the case this time so I was lucky. I am not sure but there have been at lest 5 different people as mangers since I started renting there anyway I went to call back to see if I left a month early if my money for April ( which was paid in Dec of 23 would be refunded. Waited in the phone for over 40 minutes and no one answered call the other store and did get a I think so but not sure. I went back total cleaned out unit went to front desk and ask if someone could come with me to make sure it was cleaned to there liking and he told me he had no one there to check it I went and took pictures to show him but I guess he found somebody and was cleared Overall it had been a great experience except the last couple days and the feeling from employees owell we really don’t care how you feel

Have the employees understand how to charge. We were charged an outside cleaning fee on both rentals. We did drive from Alaska, so they were dirty and I did rinse them off. However the trailer was filthy when we picked it up. The person checking them in had to keep going inside for advice.

The drop off location employees were very unprofessional not helpful at all they tried to tell me to leave and they were not gonna give me a receipt I was told at the pickup location because I was using a cash app card I would receive 100 dollars back but was told I only get 60 and they need better communication skills none of them knew anything it was very bad after a 30 hour drive to get horrible service

I was told that the truck I rented had been recently serviced. However, after a few gas fill ups, I was walking around the truck doing a quick inspection and noticed that the front tires were showing the steel core! I called roadside assistance and the waited 90 minutes for a service provider who ended up canceling without letting us know. 12 hours and a hotel stay later we finally got 2 new tires and back on the road. However, after only 375 miles to our destination, one of the brand new tires was already down to half tread. The ride was extremely bumpy and needed an alignment terribly (the service provider who changed the tires agreed). This entire situation not only added an entire day to our travels, but should never have occurred because we were told that the truck was recently serviced.

Dropped of truck and employees was to busy on a personal phone call to check in the truck told me I would receive an email. Waited 3 hrs never received a email so I called to make sure they checked in truck. Employee who answered phone would have to go see if truck is actually returned. I said I was there about 3 hrs ago. Was told he would check and get an email out right away. About 30 min later finally got an email. Again good thing I double check Uhual employees.

Late containers. I had two. One of the containers delivered was NOT mine. After already being LATE I was already upset. The forklift had a flat. 2 hours later it finally arrived. I’m disabled so my help has to readjust their schedule. Uhaul had NEVER made this RIGHT. Yes. I have a claim! NO WORD!! It’s been OVER A WEEK!!!

I was told gas tank was full at pick up, it was not. I returned it full, and believe it probably cost me about $10 more than it should have. This was addressed at the time I returned vehicle, no compensation was done.

I reserved a truck at my local U-Haul. Next morning I received a call from U-Haul that my community has no open locations. The CSR helped me get the truck I needed from a location about 30 miles away, was kind enough to adjust mileage & assist with making sure I got what I needed. Overall U-Haul experience WAY better than the last experience I had with U-Haul. Thanks to good service, this was a very positive experience. Thank you!

The new card system to check in and check out is a complete hassle the last thing I want to have to remember to do after moving a thousand miles is use a key card to log in and use a key card to log out while keeping track of keys gas mileage mileage on a truck and all of life's other stresses at the same time it just seems like an unnecessary and definitely unwanted addition to your systems which is up until now being satisfactory.

The Casper, WY location was VERY helpful by walking me through the process. They were also responsive and easily accessible. I would recommend this individual facility and would do business with them again! However, the shipping process and the corporate operation was TERRIBLE! The fact that my U-Box was lost for several days and I was kept in the dark about the situation was extremely disappointing. Corporate literally called me two days AFTER my box was delivered (I was aware of this due to the receiving store calling me) apologizing that they still had no idea where the box was... I will 10/10 not utilize the U-Box services if I move long distance again.

I reserved a 26 foot truck online for one way 2 weeks before I needed it. Arrived at the facility to pick the truck only to find out that they had rented the 26 foot trucks and only had in town trucks. Why should I reserve one if you’re not going to honor the reservation. I had to bring it back from my new home and get charged for travel miles both ways. The next time I need to rent a truck I will find an alternative to Uhaul.

The uHaul ap is useless and worthless. What is there is confusing. There is NO ability to track your belongings, customer service has no way of tracking your belongings. Almost impossible to talk to a person at the location you call. I will NEVER use U Haul to ship long distance again and will warn others if the same.

Now I can not speak for the other Casper Location as I did not use that one and I do have to say the General Manager was decent in putting in for the refund, But that is why the 1 star rating, because I rented a pickup & a car hauler only had the car hauler 2 days the truck for 7, the car hauler was not taken off ( now gotta wait for a refund for the day,s I did not have it?? ) Also I was informed that since I brought the truck back with MORE GAS than when I got it I would be charged for that ?? when that got started who knows, so burn out your gas, now as said b4 the G.M. is getting a refund on the extra days for the trailer, But I would stay away from the location at 4000 E. 2,nd St. Casper WY.82609 if I were you.

My customer service rep incorrectly noted the the gas gauge. I drove this Tuesday and Wednesday for a total of 6.8 miles. There’s no way the gauge went from just above half a tank to just below it. I look forward to not being charged for that.

I didn’t even get the truck for a full 24 hours though I paid for it, I was put on a wait list to get a call when their system came back up so I could rent out a truck, I had to be the one to call them again and by then they were out of the truck they quoted me so when I went in to get a trailer instead since that’s all they had available for me, it was still more expensive then what they quoted me. The people were very nice but still frustrating.

Clean installation The bad: Had verified with a person on the phone that I was getting a 2” receiver ordered, ended up finding an 1 1/4” hitch installed when I picked the car up. Time was critical so I’ll survive with an adapter, but it’s not the outcome I was looking for.

The online move-in process was easy and convenient, but when we got to the facility, there was still a green tag on the unit and no lock inside. I don't know if I skipped a step in the process, but I was expecting the unit to be open and a lock to be in the unit. We called the desk and was able to go inside and get the lock.

I don't understand why the U-Haul box was not allowed to be placed inside the U-Haul unload bay. They could only drop it on the side of the building. This is illogical since it was a U-Haul box to U-Haul storage transfer. If the box was allowed to be dropped inside the bay this would have made my storage transfer easier.

They almost never roll up when you get there and also there really should be some sort of warning for people trying to back into a roll up door so they know that unit is occupied and nobody else has damages to there cars by a uninsured driver , otherwise it’s a great clean safe storage . I would have liked to have a list of open units with a map so that I could pick the unit I wanted. I ended up with a unit in the very back of the building very far from all doors, which made moving in difficult. I was happy to discover carts to haul our stuff with because the unit was so far from the entrance. There were no instructions on how to check in and out and how to turn on security for the unit. No posting stating that checking out was turning on security, but signage stating that not turning on security would result in a lock out, leading to worry of being locked out of the unit due to no way to turn on security.

Had my units for 6 or 7 months never received a card to get in the building and was never told when I was going to be able to get a card to come when I needed to… got a ton over late fees do to your auto pay and not being notified that my payment was due! Already out of my unit and wasn’t offered half of that month back that I paid for when I no longer have a units! The customer service isn’t helpful at all and get lead on a goose chase but I’m still expected to pay full amount when I don’t get anything near the amount of services, I was told I would get, but never received. Probably will never do business with U-Haul storage ever again unless you have something to fix this other than that, you have a lot to work on and less you are going to give me some of my money back, I suggest she just uses his food for thought, and do not reply to me, because I have nothing nice to say to you or your company. Thanks for the terrible service and having to pay for things. I was promised that I never received like being able to go to my storage units whenever I needed to go there not when you allow me to.

The person helping acted like I knew what to do. “Here’s your swipe card.” When I asked what it’s for he said “To keep from setting off the alarm.” I confirmed that the storage was outside and asked again if I needed to swipe in for an outside unit. “Yep.” I asked where it is and what the process was “It’s over there. Just swipe it.” He also gave me a storage unit and when I went to check it out, it was already occupied. Great facility. Good system. Friendly but rather incompetent service.

The facility was very nice and clean some of the time. It seemed to depend on what staff was working at the time, I'm guessing due to staff turnover. The payment was incorrect many times and took several visits to the office to get it corrected. This was a frustrating waste of time when I did not have time to spare while moving.

I needed storage space while my house was being built. U-Haul was very convenient since I was using a U-Haul trailer for the move to Casper. The facility was clean, indoors and seemed very well protected. I was extremely happy as a customer.

Could not access unit on the 5th. There was a glitch in the entry system. Fixed on the 6th. Was told there would be a lock in the unit. There wasn’t. Office gave me one. Asked for unit close to daughters and the one I was assigned was perfect.

I was late by 2 days to pay my bill so they locked my unit. I paid it and 7 days later it was still locked and my after hours access was deactivated. Luckily the manager was still on property after hours and unlocked my unit and waited for me to let me in and out of the facility.

The "acting general manager" a 40's plus lady with a green general manager shirt on, wanted to help us. Very nice lady but didn't seem like she knew or understood what to do as far as operation of how to create a lease on our storage shed. I would expect that a GM would already know how to navigate the computer processes without having to rely on her staff that she is supervisory to. The two other staff present understood more of how things worked and could tell the manager what to do. Literally it seemed as "the Pee-Ons where telling the Pisser how to, and wich way to Pee". She - the Manager, was very nice and polite, very humorous and down to earth, but was not very knowledgeable. The other two guys where very friendly and customer ready. Good luck Uhaul.

This is NOT against the staff at the facility where I have storage. I’ve rented multiple trucks and trailers from U-Haul and on two occasions I took advantage of the free month storage; on both of these occasions I completed the reservations online and received confirmation and on both occasions when arriving at the facility, they had no reservations in their systems and I’ve had to complete the process again in the store. This is very inconvenient and a waste of time.

Arrived after hours in the evening. The directions to accessing the unit were clear and I was able to move in without problems. The next day I accessed the unit, but forgot to enter my code. I apologized when the attendant showed up in response to the alarm, he explained the issue, explained the access points and how to obtain assistance if needed. He was friendly, helpful and very pleasant to deal with. Highly recommended.

The passcode to enter did not work, I had to go into the office and Tom was very helpful with getting us a key card. He got us into a larger unit, but I'm glad we were there during office hours. Everything was fine up until the check out. I was in the process of settling the final bill when the general manager Tom Lambert came over and informed me that I was in the wrong parking spot (as if that matters. A parking spot is a parking spot.) I told him that we were done anyways. We weren't coming back. I was expecting some kind of thank you for your business or a have a good day. Nope! Tom just turned around and left. I guess customer service is not important to him.

I wish to compliment the young woman at the facility. I wish I remembered her name. She was on her own with no other coworkers insight. There were three customers waiting for service; the first of which were taking a large amount of time to conclude their business. Your employee handled herself calm and collected. She understood what was needed, explained it thoroughly and continued on quick as she could. Nicely done!!

Excellent facility. Floor plan accomodates the clients needs and is well laid out. Drive has plenty of parking and vehicle space accomodations. Staff is helpful, knowledgeable, and maintain a professional demeanor.
