We had hitch put on our car before our trip. Gentleman was so nice and helpful. We chose to return our trailer at this location because of how nice they had been. When we got here computers were down so they couldn't log in our return. But we were reassured that all would be ok. No problems.... would recommend this place .SHELLEY M.
In spite of a system-wide blackout, the clerk at this location went above and beyond their call of duty by doing the transaction manually both for the rental and the return. Plus, this location has real, actual people that want to help, unlike the place where I had made a reservation and only used the mobile interface for pick up and drop off.Luis R.
Your online system allowed me to book a larger trailer online. Whenever I arrived at the location designated, they said that they were over booked on that particular trailer and it was not available. Had to send me to another location to get a smaller trailer. Not a good situation.TERRY H.

The TIRES ARE BALD Very Dangerous The Trailer is SO SMALL it must have been a very Old Trailer BUT all worked out I helped a Nurse move her Furniture Thank YouSTEVEN R.
Drivers mirror just flops up against the window or away from rhe truck and will not stay adjusted in place. Very difficult to see and you have to push it out with your arm to check for traffic before changing lanes. Check engine light came on about 3 miles after I left Uhaul and never went off.DEAN K.

The trailer that the lady attached to our truck came undone and scratched the truck. Bent license plates on the back side of the truck. The guy helping us inside was helpful and courteous. The lady that attached the trailer needs retraining. When the trailer came undone it almost hit a oncoming car. I'm so upset because of the dang incident. I will never go back to this location again. I rented a trailer and needed to rent a truck to pull it as well. However, when I called I was told that they were out of trucks - but the vans could pull trailers. So, I booked a van and a trailer. However, when I arrived to pick up the equipment - I was told that the vans at this location do not have hitches, and I would have to rent a 10 ft truck, instead. They did offer to give me the same rate as the van, so I didn't make a big deal of it. I rented the truck, and the first trailer they gave me had a right taillight that was not functioning. They brought a replacement trailer, but it was not installed properly by the associate and came off of the hitch WHILE DRIVING in traffic. Luckily the trailer's safety chains prevented it from disconnecting from the truck. I was able to pull over & connect the hitch properly. I rent from different U-Haul locations quite a bit, and this was by far the worse experience I have had at any location.Alastair H.
Store open at 9am on Sunday I try to return the rental truck at 8:30 am on this Sunday that the time showing on contract. But on one knew to tell the customer have to do. The lady told Me check out yourself at that door . When I enter there, then one guy take me get out there and told me leave the key on truck and go. No sign tell where the return truck should park. Train employees regarding how to treat and speak to customers. Employees should be respectful. Also I did an appointment online and still have to wait one hour just to be served. Employees have lack of attention and lack of customer service. I went two times and there was more than 9 employees and they were all together just guessing who was going to work with each customer. Several times we found the gate wide open and when reporting this, the office staff was quite aggravated with having to deal with a report of something they needed to fix. The dump station never had running water to enable clean out of RV tanks. Dump station was not designed for us as the lack of level made it useless.Rene K. | Overall Experience

It was not the location, but the actual UHaul.com telephone representative who was the issue. Our tow vehicle was totaled over the weekend (trailer was stored at the time of the wreck), and we had no way to tow the trailer back to Plano. The fact that there was and is no way without the high cost attached to returning equipment to another location is ridiculous, and definitely not customer friendly. Now I know this and will share this with others so they know ahead of time that if there is an issue, they need to be aware of the penalties to return to another location than originally planned.TERRI J.

I was charged 8.90 Gallons of Fuel on a 17.6 miles that I drove. The lady at the counter wouldn't listen to me and said that sounds right. It's like I was burning 1 Gallon of fuel for less than 2 miles I was driving. Called in to customer services and the rep didn't have an answer and put me on hold and never came back. The representative who I interacted with to lease the vehicle was beyond unprofessional. My address and email address were both wrong on the contract. My email address is the same as my name (as preset on my driver's license) -- how do you make that mistake? He needed my driver's license multiple times and had to use multiple phones (including what appeared to be his personal phone) to take a picture of it. He told me that he needed to manually enter my credit card number. The whole process took an absurdly long time. I was the only person in line and it took at least 25 minutes. What is completely unacceptable is to force the renter of equipment when picking it up to make a damage inspection on a smartphone app! And this during regular staffed business hours. Not only was the app buggy and did not allow to photograph the odometer and fuel level indicator, do you think we have all that time to waste. My credit card declined today and someone from the location left me a nasty voicemail threatening to report the truck stolen if I didn't get back to them with a new card. They made us go unlock the truck ourselves. Gave us the truck late. Then tried to overcharge me until I called they refunded. Truck didn't have ac at all. Service was next to none. We are vloggers and be for sure this is going to be spoken about.TUAN N.
The rubber chain hook safety locks were dry rotted and broke. Chain kept coming unhooked from hitch while driving. Had to duct tape it. Checking the trailer back in took forever. They always put me on eternal hold each time I called. The last time I rented from this branch they charged me a cleaning fee that was not warranted or that they could explain. The staff don't seem happy to be working there as no one seemed welcoming to ANY of the customers. I use the app to book equipment but it always moves from my chosen location to this Plano Texas Los Rios Blvd location where I have had several unpleasant experiences. So from now on I'll be calling the corporate line to book equipment and tell them to exclude this location from my options.SANDY K.

The manager SAT at her desk, LOOKED at me, proceeded to message someone on FB messenger (I heard the notifications) and not once decided to acknowledge me. Being that I was returning the totes, I needed a cart. After 2 mins of me literally STANDING unattended while she carried on her conversation on FB messenger; I was able to scan the room and find a cart. Afterward I loaded the totes and brought them to her, she finally decided to open her mouth and speak to me. Rudely, She asked if I were returning totes, and I replied yes. She asked for my phone number and quickly said â€œokay your receipt will be emailed to youâ€ I firmly believe that everyone should have adequate training on how to treat customers, but I find that things as simple as this stems from ones upbringing. As I doubt this will be addressed, I will not be recommending this location to my friends in that area. I suggested that they choose another location due to my experience. Regards.Regis G.

My U-Haul experience has been simply amazing. I booked U-Box for moving my household furniture stuff from Dallas to Boston. Right from the point of delivering the U-Box by Nancy at my Dallas, TX location to delivery at Boston,MA its been nothing but a smooth experience, with absolutely ZERO hassles, hiccups. I must say - U-Haul has upped their game by a notch. And the entire process from Booking to On-Ground execution is very smooth, hassle free, easy & user friendly. 5 Stars for U-Haul from me. Felt rushed when helped and was given the wrong trailer so had a very hard time loading and unloading load.sign said $20 for they day but lady wanted trailer back by 2 o'clock by the time she was done with all the paper work it was 1:15 but still wanted trailer back by 2 o'clock I've never had this problem with uhaul.I have been to other locations and have had no issues very quick and fast service lady was rude as hell will not rent anything at this location again and it's because I work right beside this place.I will make the extra drive to go to another location very bad service!!!LEE M.

Customer Service is awful. I was told me reservation for hitch installation would be open and upon dropping my car off, was still told there was someone in front of me. It took 6 1/2 hours until I got my car back and the trailer had still not been attached. I also feel as if more should be done to speak to the hitch and installation is not a rental but will remain on your car. I returned the trailer within 18 hours, but still couldn't receive a refund on the hitch or full price for the trailer rental.MATTHEW COLE K.

i reserved 36 "ready to go" boxes a month in advance but when I arrived there were only 11 available. i had to make double the number of trips (and mileage) because I never had enough of them. Also, if I had rented blankets or a dolly or whatever, they would have been loaded and ready to go in the vehicle but not so with the van. I had to check out both at the counter then scrounge together the 11 boxes, pull up the van and load them.CONNIE N.

The only compliant issue I have was during move-out, after checking-in & opening my units; when I close the door while I cart a load out to my truck and return, it sets off the alarm when I open the unit door again to get another load. Two of my 3 units were located immediately next to an alarm speaker which is so loud it caused a ringing in my ears especially after having to make numerous trips to unload my units. When I'm checked-in to the facility, my units' doors shouldn't trigger an alarm until after I check-out when no one should be opening the doors on my locked down units.HAROLD J. | Overall Experience
