Be clearer about what documentation is accepted. My friend had an International driving license which your site says is accepted but because he didn't have a Canadian ID it wouldn't be accepted which was not stated anywhere. This location is my go to whenever I rent a truck or van, even though they are on the other side of town.Suzy K.
Vehicle came without a lock, and staff did not seem to care to rectify the issue. I was forced to purchase one to secure my belongings. Staff also forgot to confirm I had my mattress protector I had pre ordered, and I departed without it. Truck was clean and ready for use. Bluetooth was a huge plus.Regan S.

The gas gauge did not work. I put in way too much gas. I complained about it. I was sent a receipt for 55 dollars after discount. I was charged 80 dollars. I tried to call the location and I could not get through I'm put on hold every time I call.Chris Honour H.

Online check in not working properly, drop off after hours not working properly. Scanning QR code didn't work. Just an awful experience dealing with the online system. Also, if I order a furniture dolly, have it ready. U can't complete ppls orders but then say u don't have any dollies. That's so stupid. Y'all need to revise your business model. I won't be using uhaul anytime soon. And too many prompts at checkout. I just wanna checkout without being asked 100 questions for add-ons.Beniam T.
We made the reservation using a specific Credit Card - upon pick up, they asked the driver for his card, which the rep confirmed verbally would NOT be the one processed or used after return of the vehicle. On Monday, the vehicle was returned and we verbally re-confirmed with the woman checking it that she will process the Amex on file from the original reservation and NOT the card used during pick up. She said ok, but proceeded to process the transaction on the Visa. Then, she was rude about having to refund that and put it on the correct card - the customer experience yesterday makes me NOT want to use this location again or recommend it to anyone. We have rented here several times over the years and yesterday's service was atrocious! This person needs some training in customer service and service with a smile. Every problem has a solution - it's all in how you approach it and the TONE and FACIAL expressions you use when solving something for a paying customer! $100 does not grow on trees!! It became obvious soon after leaving the lot that the truck had a mechanical issue. I solved the problem in an ongoing manner myself, and returned the vehicle early for this reason. Despite my concerns and asking politely there was no credit or concession. I will choose elsewhere next time.Kathy P.

She has a great customer service attitude and she should train other locations to do the same. The guys that check in the cars when you are back, were also great. The professional attitude and attention to detail was greatly appreciate. They even found my work gloves and got them to me before I got of the location. All and all was a great experience.John S.

I called your main line to reserve a 17' box truck. When I go to the Queensway location, they said they do not carry 17' trucks in Canada anymore. I asked for a longer truck then, but they said they were all booked up, so I had to get a 15' truck instead. Consequently, I had to make an extra trip. Not happy with this situationpatrick C.

One very inconvenience I was asked to give a phone number of my friend or relatives so Ihaul customer representative called her right way to confirm I am the right customer. I do not still understand this process. I already gave all the documents they need to rent the truck but this process was vey inconvenience for me. This is a disgrace of a location for U-Haul. I've rented trucks from U-Haul for numerous moves at different locations and have never had an issue. Yet, this storage U-Haul location is awful. The management and staff are impossible to communicate with because they never answer their phones and the staff are not properly trained. I was charged twice for a lock I bought for my locker and they refused to assist and refund me in the matter. I also was told by the staff when I first got to the facility that they would have to see if they had storage available, when I already reserved my storage unit online (stating it was available). Fortunately they had one unit left but it took them an hour to figure out how to assist me. They took my credit card information as they said they would make automatic monthly payments on my card for my unit. However a month later I'm getting calls stating I'm late with paying. Why did they take my credit card information? Is that being used by an employee? Such an awful experience. I would not recommend. The only reason I gave this location a "2 stars" is because the actual storage units suffice to store your items. Honestly a self-serve storage locker facility would probably be better. I wanted a drive up but you have trucks parked down the middle of every aisle making it extremely difficult to get my car in and impossible to back up into it. It's nearly impossible to speak to someone on the phone unless you have extreme patience. 9 times out of 10, I was on hold so long that it transferred me to the U.S.A. My experience with the storage option at 1472 The Queensway was among the worst customer experiences I’ve ever had. I was offered a free first month as I usually am with my reservations, given the fact that I have a corporate account. When I took the offer the sales associate confirmed this with me at the time the first month would be free and proceeded to process the transaction. Only after I was all moved in called me to tell me that there had been a mistake. They subsequently threatened to “cut the lock if I did not return to the store and dispose of all my items.” They had called me after hours to tell me this! The store closed at 7:00pm on Wednesday and they called me at 7:45pm after I had already gotten to my house and returned the truck! Completely inappropriate on behalf of U-Haul especially consider I spend thousands of dollars every month renting equipment from this company and this exact location! They then proceeded to steal a total of $271.49 from me by charging my account without authorization! What kind of organization does that! Trying to get a hold of someone to close my contract was an awful process. The general manager did not respond to any of my emails and I could not get through by phone. Uhaul should not have an online move out portal if I you’re just going to make customers go in to the facility in person.
