PAARTH MI was on hold for 20 minutes for service, left my telephone open until I was sitting in front of an attendant. Another attendant was there who could easily have answered telephone. I called Sunday with respect to a rental and the girl there had to put me on hold twice to find out answer to my questions and, I am a woman. Staff with little business experience, not professional in any way. I was likewise angry and made it clear when I was there. We did not like each other. Period. I have worked 65 years in law, transportation and owned my own construction company. I would fire that office staff in a heartbeat.

WAYNE HI originally booked a pick-up at DIFFERENT location that did not set up the mobile pick-up correctly. U-Haul customer service assisted with finding another location that had available vehicles and was open with available service representatives. I started the check-in process early (45 minute before scheduled pick-up) as there were many negative comments about mobile pick-ups not being set up properly. We were fortunate there was another location that was on a similar route. After everything was resolved we were only 15 min late to our location where we had a moving elevator booked. STRONGLY SUGGEST setting up pick-up location and time where a service rep is available.
Luana JThis location is very very busy at month end. The people here are great tho. The physical location is very tight and that makes moving trucks and trailers in and out challenging. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars.
KEVIN SI’ve used rented at least 8 times before and this was the worst truck I ever experienced. I was marked with damage all over, the alignment was off in the truck, and worst of all the storage in the back was incredibly dirty. There was wet and dried mud all over the floor. A lot of extra work was created for me due to the mess this truck caused.

Ramzi KOverall, I would rate your storage facility a 2.5 out of 5. First, access to the storage is often blocked by your own vehicles. There were times when I needed to pick something up in the morning and had to carry items over my head just to avoid hitting your cars, simply because there was no space. Second, everything is rusty and damp. I also find your pricing hard to justify—similar units in climate-controlled facilities are actually cheaper. Finally, your U-Haul box return policy. Moving is always stressful, and something as small as a receipt can easily get lost. Making returns possible only with a receipt feels unreasonable. Are you really expecting people to fake your boxes just to get money back? It may seem like a small thing, but it leaves a bad impression. Next time, I will likely use Storage Market for packing supplies instead.

THUVA NThe instructions for returning the vehicle where not made clear. I went into the office to return the keys and was told to drive the vehicle under the covered area of the driveway. I waited for more than 10 minutes but the individual did not approach me. I finally went over to the attendant and he took the keys and said you are all set. Why did he not approach me to take the keys instead let me just sit there. The radio display did not work and the tire pressure gauge came on while driving. Also the gas level was not where they said it would be.

Emily MEntrance is a little crowded. People who don't drive trucks or vans may find the lot difficult to negotiate. Staff was ok but should remember that customers are ten ofstressed from moving their homes and stuff.

My second experience was not as good as the first This location on queensway not a good experience... as I walked in .the customer in front of me was already complaining about the service Then I proceeded to the counter for truck then was told I cannot park there I had to park at the IKEA across the street . Even though there was many parking available After explaining i only needed the truck for a couple hours Then proceeded to tell me I cannot drop if off when im done I have to bring it back the next day I proceeded to drop the truck when I was done as there was clearly parking available for the truck when I got back and a drop off key box so why was I instructed not to drop off same day didn't make sense And then I had to walk back to IKEA to get my car in the cold Terrible experience Didn't have this problem when I rented from main st location
PHILLIP MThe back of the truck was left open during the winter resulting in snow/water getting in and the floors being soaked which needed to be dried so we can store furniture in it and not damage it by letting it sit in water. I was also charged for a dolly however, no one told me to take it from the front and it was self serve as I assumed it was in the truck only to get to my destination to find out that was not the case and on a time limitation due to elevator rental so couldn't drive back to grab it. Brought this to the attention of the rep when I returned the truck and was told it would be refunded which it has not and is resulting in me to chase a refund for a product I never received.
ANDREW WVery poor service. It was our first time using the service from there and they didn’t even explain the drop off can be done dropping the key outside. Instead she instead us to bring the car before the closing time if not will be charged for overnight. After reaching to the location one of the staff told us we can simply extend our drop off time in app and from the key outside.
PEMA DI had ordered two dolly's and when I got to the location, they told me there were none available. I was lucky enough that two had just been returned, but that would have completely defeated the purpose of renting the van to be able to move furniture. Maybe having each van prepared with the dolly(s) in the van would be a better way.

ANNA DThey called me at some point to say my drop off location was full and that I could go to Oakville (an extra 20 minutes away). I was so busy moving I didn't even check my phone until after I had dropped off the truck and the move was done.
Michael NThey charge me wrong bill as they told me to give fuel 1/4 back but when i start the truck the fuel was almost empty so why i have to give them back 1/4 and then i gave them one point low then 1/4 and they charge me 7 dollar even i gave them more fuel what they gave me in the truck

One employee even went out of their way to help me move my belongings from my vehicle, which I truly appreciated. I was also given one month of storage free of charge, which was a great bonus. Overall, the team at this location was very helpful, professional, and made the entire process easy and stress-free. That said, this experience was not reflective of all UHAUL locations. Prior, I also visited the 152 East Dr Brampton, ON L6T1C1, north of TORBRAM & STEELES location where I encountered a lack of professionalism and poor communication. Additionally, the storage unit there did not appear safe, as the overhead top was open. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend UHAUL storage facility at 1472 Queensway Etobicoke, ON M8Z1T5 specifically. If you’re considering a storage facility, this location is your best bet for reliable, customer-focused service.

I am constantly moving things around for my family and friends, and I always rent vans and trucks at this location. This time, I needed to store some items, so I decided to rent a small unit online while I was renting the truck. In-store, they offer a free month of rent, but that was not showing online. When I went to the store, I spoke with the receptionist and asked how to get that promotion, but she said she could not help. She said I should try to write an email to the management and request a refund for the unit I paid online. I sent two emails, and neither was ever replied to; I was ignored. Another bad experience is the long wait to speak with a receptionist when you arrive in the store. Poor customer service as they do not acknowledge you or even look at you until it's your turn. I felt lost and unwelcome; we were doing them a favor by renting their vehicles. The parking lot is crowded with their trucks and vans, leaving a very narrow area for you to access your storage door. You need to be a "ten-star" driver to get to your storage and leave the area with no scratches or damage to your car. The U-Hall employees suggested we park in the BBQ store neighbors' parking lot (which, if I were the neighbor, I would be very mad about it) or at IKEA. We told them we needed 40 minutes to drive home and return to leave one of our cars at home, but they said their parking lot is just for employees, and they don't have parking for customers; no exceptions at all. It will be hard to change my opinion, but at least I am sharing my experience so you can decide if this was an odd situation or if that's how they are in general with their clients.

I paid for an entire for months rent on May 1 which was over $220, and upon move out on May 8, I was informed that there would be no prorated rebate for the month. That’s just bad service given the amount of time that I had rented the unit for. There was also a dead rat in my unit and my door has remained broken for a few years despite complaints to have it repaired. The staff at this location are also impolite, unfriendly, and seem to move painfully slow.

U-Haul, please make your App reservation experience more clear. It is actually a waiting list where you might get lucky like I did.

I then had to empty my unit a day late due to your office being closed. Causing another months charge to be due on my account. Unacceptable. Your staff attempted to charge me $209 for 18 hours of storage that I would not have even needed had I been able to move out the day prior. I sorted this out with your staff in person and yet, your automated system has attempted to charge the credit card several times since moving out. Furthermore the reservation for the truck we attempted to rent was canceled several times. We also rented a covered trailer which got a flat tire. We waited in a parking lot for 4 hours for repair and then were not initially offered a free day of use with the trailer. As though we should have to pay rental fees for damaged equipment that wasted a full day of our move?! My storage was included in an out of town truck rental and it was very difficult just to get the unit to begin with. None of your staff seem well trained and must not be compensated well because their attitude is quite demure even when being spoken to kindly and with patience. My experience with Uhaul has been REPEATEDLY deplorable. May I suggest you train you staff adequately and pay them better.

Iryna K | Overall ExperienceThis is a disgrace of a location for U-Haul. I've rented trucks from U-Haul for numerous moves at different locations and have never had an issue. Yet, this storage U-Haul location is awful. The management and staff are impossible to communicate with because they never answer their phones and the staff are not properly trained. I was charged twice for a lock I bought for my locker and they refused to assist and refund me in the matter. I also was told by the staff when I first got to the facility that they would have to see if they had storage available, when I already reserved my storage unit online (stating it was available). Fortunately they had one unit left but it took them an hour to figure out how to assist me. They took my credit card information as they said they would make automatic monthly payments on my card for my unit. However a month later I'm getting calls stating I'm late with paying. Why did they take my credit card information? Is that being used by an employee? Such an awful experience. I would not recommend. The only reason I gave this location a "2 stars" is because the actual storage units suffice to store your items. Honestly a self-serve storage locker facility would probably be better. Renter beware.

I was offered a free first month as I usually am with my reservations, given the fact that I have a corporate account. When I took the offer the sales associate confirmed this with me at the time the first month would be free and proceeded to process the transaction. Only after I was all moved in called me to tell me that there had been a mistake. They subsequently threatened to “cut the lock if I did not return to the store and dispose of all my items.” They had called me after hours to tell me this! The store closed at 7:00pm on Wednesday and they called me at 7:45pm after I had already gotten to my house and returned the truck! Completely inappropriate on behalf of U-Haul especially consider I spend thousands of dollars every month renting equipment from this company and this exact location! They then proceeded to steal a total of $271.49 from me by charging my account without authorization! What kind of organization does that! I am taking further action and will consider strongly closing my account with U-Haul at the end of the month after I’ve fulfilled all my business obligations.

Uhaul should not have an online move out portal if I you’re just going to make customers go in to the facility in person. The whole process made me not want to use uhaul again as it caused a ton of unnecessary stress.
