Very happy with the unit, but even with a reservation, was told there was no unit available. They kept looking and found the one I had reserved was not prepared for a new tenant, but thankfully rented it to me anyway since urgently needed. I was very unhappy with the online closure process. Only allowed one pic to be uploaded while requesting 3 and still sent me an email reminder of payment due after I had sent in the closure info....you could use some IT updates! Horrible service. There was only one employee working the entire place. I had to wait over 30 minutes in line just to return the truck. The attendant was apologetic, and polite, but where were the other employees?

I had reserved a 26' truck Check 2 days before on my reservation they said they had it arrived and they told me that they only had a 15' had to talk to manager luckily somebody had just canceled this was totally unacceptable behavior them give me my truck away that I had reserved 2 weeks prior

You need to tell you operators the correct procedure when someone gets into an accident. They gave me false information for what needed to take place which apparently voided the insurance coverage I had. The only nice thing I have to say is that your customer service representatives in store need a raise.

Have the truck there that I booked. Showed up for an 8:00 appointment and they said the truck wouldn't be available until 1:00, come back at one and they tell me that the truck I booked wasn't there. Asked manager what he was going to do about it and he said I could call the 1800 number. Poor service with a horrible attitude. Never going back.

I rented a piece of equipment on the morning of Oct 28. The employees don't appear to work as a team and seem quite unhappy And inefficient in their work.

My online rental was originally for 28th but when I arrived the trailer wasn't there due to customer return timing. I had to reschedule for the next day. The staff at the site were nice, professional and attentive. Unfortunately after loading and traveling I noticed that the trailer had a low pressure tire which really challenged my use and safety. I was not offered the $50 cash back due to the missing trailer on the first day.

Took me three to four washings to finally get the bugs off the windshield. The person was apathetic to my questions about disconnecting and reconnecting the tow. Yeah, I got instruction sheets. I just drove four hours to get the truck. The steering had a slight give which made me have to have total concentration every step of the way as every time I looked in the rearview mirror would veer to the right. I have driven enough trucks to know that that truck could use a check-up.

make sure information is accurate on rental form, counter guy did not indicate fuel tank level was actually lower than form,I had to add more fuel at end of rental than I should have. Vehicle windshield and mirrors were dirty upon pickup and I had to wash windshield and mirrors on my own dime. This really pissed me off big time. I will keep this in mind the next time I consider a vehicle rental.

When I returned it the employee tried to charge me for not filling up the tank, luckily I had taken a pic of the mileage and fuel gauge before I left and told him he would not be doing that. I looked at the receipt afterward and it clearly showed it was below full. Not sure why his computer wouldn't have shown him that.

Terrible booking experience. My order was completely messed up. It cost me 2 extra man hours as my employees worked to resolve the booking agents negligence. I AN VERY DISSATISFIED WITH THIS TRANSACTION but appreciate that the Eureka location resolved the issue.

It took 45 minutes from the time I stood at the counter to check out because of “internet connectivity problems.” I paid in cash for boxes and they couldn't get the cash drawer open to give me my change. I had completed all the fast checkout beforehand and yet it took this long! There was a long line of people stretched out the door by the time I left. Unsatisfying Folks!!

The uhaul services are ones i hope to never use again. They added so much unnecessary stress to my move. I had to call several times in the days and weeks coming up to my move to be sure that everything would be accessible and ready and during each call i got off the phone feeling uncertain. My first call I tried to schedule access to my uhaul box and when i got on the phone with the women and she proceeded to try and process my request she hand difficulties finding my pod and scheduling access to it (this was a reoccurring issue for EVERY SINGLE TIME I tried to get access to it). After many issues she informed that she solved the problem by sending a message via messenger on Facebook which felt like the least professional way to get in touch with a local branch. I called again a few days later, but not without the automated service randomly disconnecting me from my hold after 5 or 10 minutes of waiting. Finally i got in touch with someone whom actually worked at Eureka Uhaul and he was very kind and helpful and informed me that my uhaul box had indeed gotten schedualed for me to get access to it. Fast forward to my arrival at Uhaul (friday at 2); i arrive and ask for access to my box. The two gentlemen just look at each other and one looks at the other and says "the system has been down all day for that, i didn't see any scheduled, I'm going on my lunch, good luch." The other guy turns to me and informs me that their are no boxes put so it will take some time. I was okay with that, i had some time to wait, though the hour process of him finally being able to find my box was not the short wait i was hoping for. That hour on top of the time it took me to unload the box chipped away at the scheduled arrival time i still had for driving another 5 hours after having just driven up from San Luis Obispo (an additional 9 hour drive). This was AGAIN not the first time that my box was not already pulled out for my arrival and not my only issue with Uhaul. The company's inability to properly schedule and communicate with their client's makes me sure that i will not use them for any moving or storage needs, and will be sure to tell my horror story to friends and family insisting they don't use it either.

I went into the store, purchased a lock, asked the clerk if it would fit my u-haul truck. He said yes. I went out to use it and it did not fit. I returned to get another that would fit but the clerk would not refund my money. I have spent over 2,000 dollars at u-haul in the last month. This kind of jerking around is completely unnecessary. There are other places to rent trucks without this nonsense.

The tires were not good n the the lt side lite flew off on the FWY While I was driving I called road side assistance It took 45 mins just to get through and when I finally did get through the lady asked me what can she help me with and I told her the lite from the car dolly just flew off n she said that's not good she put me on hold n she never got back to me I was on hold for another hour I bought n install the new lite myself I paid 200 dollar for the car dolly and I'm very unsatisfied

I was told the charge would be changed from a hold of 70 dollars to 43 dollars which was my actual charge. My account has still been charged 70.16 after asking for it to be fixed. Not happy at all.

The engine check light was on. The drivers side mirror was loose and kept falling down so you couldn't use it. We had to use a bungee cord attached to the front wheel well to keep it in place. The cargo area smelled of weed and the light bulb was missing from the cargo area. The truck also smelled of antifreeze, luckily it was running and a normal temp.

Friendly, on time, helpful. I use this store whenever I need their services; great people. It is disconcerting, however, to read in the online reservation that the equipment is "not available" and that someone will call the day before I needed it. Makes it hard to plan. Fortunately the local store called 3 days before my deadline, so it worked out.

I originally was to pick up on 5th. St. the truck was not ready and the uhaul process was terrible trying to pick up remotely was harder than it needed to be. I was told by the gal on the phone that i had to pick up remotely and there were no other choices. during the online process my reservation got cancelled and i finally decided to go to the one on jacobs ave. for help. They ended up just renting me a truck i was in and out quickly with no hassles. I dod not appreciate that i had to be over an hour late because of the hassles of online pick-up

When returning the vehicle at 7pm. There was a worker who showed me where to drop the keys off. I used the app to return the truck, but the location finder could not verify my location. I knocked on the door to get help, but the lady at the counter ignored me and would not help me. Ridiculous and rude!

need more help at the registers, 3 employees up there, one went to lunch when there were 5 people in line and the other two employees were on the phones helping others. Had to wait a really long time in line when I already had a reservation, and it was really hot and stuffy in the building. Needed fans or something. But hire more help, this location is always busy.

getting in and out of location was sometimes difficult. due to parking of trucks and other storage options. there were 2 times in just a couple months where I had to go to office to have them move stuff so I could get out with my truck and trailer. other than that I would very much rent again

My only reason for 4 star is that I was told twice from two different agents when I picked up the truck and returned it that the reservation I had for a storage unit was not available. When I objected they checked more carefully and saw it still needed to be cleaned but the cleaning was minimal and I insisted we would accept it as is. It was the very last unit and I desperately needed it. Thank you, Uhaul. I had a great experience in the long run.

My move from Colorado to California under rather stressful circumstances was rather difficult but when I came to check in my trailer so that I could get the truck unloaded, I was met by Shannon. She was so friendly and helpful . The facility did not have the 10x15 unit I reserved and at this time, there wasnt even a 10x10 , so a 20' truck packed to the brim couldnt be unloaded. Sol was helping me in the office and remembered someone had moved out without checking out. He contacted the people regarding the unit and success! He went above and beyond customer service. Everyone was very helpful, friendly and more than willing to help with my situation. I've used Uhaul before and will use it again. Thank you

in these days is a virus staff was helpful and friendly as possible. Check-in went relatively smoothly although there is a waiting line because the virus once again. The card lock that they have instead of punching in numbers is awesome. And the storage units look almost new I even had one with a freshly painted floor

good communication. UBoxes were great for a 2200 mile move. I used UBoxes so never saw the facility. Feedback form forced me to answer yes/no questions I couldn't answer, so I answered no.

My UBoxes were scheduled for delivery 11/11/18. Then was told they would arrive late (11/13). Regional office said there would be no charge. Instead, I was billed for another month as of 11/13/18.

There are no gates at this facility, just cameras. My one issue is that the area between the U-Haul store and the storage area is being used as storage for trailers and you have to veer around them.
