The trailer we had was really old, dented, and rusty, the door would hardly slide up/open when we got it home. Also, it leaked during the rainstorm and was wet inside, we had to pack and leave so returning it 40 minutes away wasn't an option. It needed to be a retired unit. But the gentleman who helped us was awesome, knowledgeable, and dressed nice, like the new uniforms, very professional.

So convenient because it is located close to Rainbow Storage where we rented a 10×25 storage unit! The staff member was so prompt to approach me when I pulled up to the equipment return area. I was out of there in 5 minutes!

Max was a gross example of the performance of a Customer Service Represented. The only thing he represented was failure and disappointment. When asked to add the driver of the vehicle as an authorized driver to tow, Max did not add the driver. When asked for a furniture dolly, no dolly was presented. Armen, the other worker at the time of pickup, however, was based and redpilled, goated with the sauce. He mumbled profanities as he looked with a thousand-yard stare at the blank computer screen reflecting back into his eyes, absent-minded to the mistake occuring during my rental. Max also called me a 'bobo', whatever that means. Clean out the darn truck!!! It was nasty and filthy on the inside which as a grandmother, I didn't appreciate at all. The cupholders were filled with thick, sticky ickiness then covered with dirt, we didn't dare put our coffee cups into them, and the entire cab was filled with a layer of dirt. It smelled like an old bar and cigarettes with drinks and some kind of drinks had been dropped all over the floor. I had to purchase cleaner after the movers packed our storage unit and we left our hotel room to clean the cup holders and seats, before we made the one-way trip home. When we started to drive south in the morning, the inside of the windshield was streaked and dirty making it difficult to see. Just wish I'd seen it before we'd left so I could have washed it. Apparently, Uhaul is DIY for grandparents these days! This grandma is never going to rent another nasty truck again, but there aren't any other truck rentals in Eureka, so I had no choice!! Shame on Uhaul!!!

You had my uboxes for two weeks prior to the delivery date and still failed to have them arrive on time. When I called about it, I had to go through multiple people before I got to one that could help, if you want to call it help. Don't tell people their uboxes will be ready for pickup at 7am when they won't be ready until 10am. Be more communicative within your company, so I don't have to do the footwork for you.

I rented a trailer on a stormy day. I went through wet road conditions and large puddles on the road. I was charged $20 for mud from going through puddles. Ridiculous. I will not be using UHaul again. This was my 3rd rental in less than a month. Apparently renting equipment in acclimate weather will cost extra

OK here's the deal we tried 3 TIMES to put this unit in to DeeDee name and take it out of mine I was just doing her a favor and once we waited over 30mins to just that they look at our I D' S typed on key board went and got someone else to show them how and said done now you want me to pay 1800$ so no I'm not happy with your service, and why on earth would you allow it to get that high before selling her belongings is beyond me that's on you guys , now it's up to you to try and find her I've been tring for months , not to be rude but I'll not pay a dime for your guys mistake , my name is MARTIN M. Return after hours was a bad experience .The software did not work. When U-Haul checked truck in the next morning, I was charged an "after hours service fee" of $20.00! They did nothing to help me after hours and I was still charged a fee for them doing exactly what they would have done if I returned the truck during regular hours!

Very good, efficient, and helpful staff at this location. I did not understand that I needed to use the texted link to verify all the info on the agreement was correct. I milage was off by a mile and I documented it cell phone photo, but the person who checked me in said it could not be corrected because I failed to do so on the app. It was only $1.50, but it the issue is honesty and accuracy and I had photographic proof that the mileage was incorrect. Equipment- the knob was missing off the driver side window, which was very iinconvenient and required two hands to raise and lower. The rep said they were awaire it was missing.

I waited for two hours before I could leave. My reservation was not ready to go. The level of commitment to safety is poor. My pickup rental had opened the tailgate while parked and driving several times as well as the lights and locks kept going off. Uhaul got what they paid for out of a bunch of stoner kids at this location...shit service.

The Left front tire was low when I picked up the truck and the staff quickly filled it back up before I left the lot. However, two days later, the same error message on the dashboard appeared and I had to find a gas station at night in the middle of Eureka in order to fill the tire. And although I noted the additional damage on the outside of the truck, when I got into the cab, the driver's side sun shade was broken. The staff was super kind

The storage was fine but the fact that I pod my month up and left my storage unit clean and ready to be re rented 19 days before the next payment was due and I got non of my money back is much like robbery. Your company will keep my over $100 and rent the unit out tomorrow and take someone else’s money. Your business practices are immoral and should be illegal and I will never recommend usage of your facility again.

Jeremy is amazing, I was very impressed with his customer service. I'm in banking and customer service standards is one of our highest priorities because basically that's all that differentiates one bank from another is service because we all offer the same products. When I arrived at the Eureka location there was a line and Jeremy was the only person behind the counter. Watching him multitask was very impressive. He would help two customers at a time while keeping them in gaged as well as acknowledge customers that entered the store. When it was finally my turn I was wanting to check out a trailer hitch for my 2021 Mazda CX 30. After checking his computer he noticed that one part was not showing available on the computer so he took the time to call customer service who referred him to another department so he went ahead and called them. They located the part in another state and was told it was the last one available so he made sure it was ordered in my name to ensure I would receive it. He did all this while helping other customers always sharing in an upbeat voice what he was doing so everyone understood he was multitasking. I'm not the only one he impressed because I heard other people commenting how well he was handling the situation. When he finally completed my order I had to ask if he was the manager because who else could have done such a great job. He politely told me he had been working there for several months, maybe since June or July but not 100% sure. I also asked if he could install my hitch when I received the call that my part was in. I couldn't be happy with the entire experience. The reason for sharing this is to let you now you have one fantastic employee on your hands and I hope he gets recognized for going above and beyond for his customers. Thank you, Mary Callens

Please post signs and give instructions on where to park our car while using one of your trucks. I parked in a parking space near the office and when I returned the truck later on the same day, was told my car almost got towed away because I was supposed to park on the street. Who knew? There were other cars there when I parked and no signage or instructions.

I reserved two units through the 800 go uhaul service number and when I got there they only had one unit. I had to find a unit at another storage company. Meanwhile I had a moving crew at $150 hour sitting idle. The other storage company informed me that what happened to me happening all the time with Uhaul clients. Generally, I have used Uhaul many times and am great full for their produce but this is an issue I hope they will address.

I arrived 30 minutes before closing but no one was available for check in immediately. The guy that did help me was rude and unfriendly. He was going to charge me but I was told I get one month free. We did end up finishing at 5 pm unloading and returning the trailer. I had to pick a code but have no idea what I need it for.

The main reason I'm giving a one star is because when I walked in there were three employees working behind the counter. Two of them were with a customer and I have no idea what the other guy was doing because he never acknowledged me that I was still breathing! I stood there for probably 5 minutes and I never even got a simple "Hello, I will be with you in just a few minutes." C'mon man!! What happened to " customer service? "

When we got there, the person who works there (Matt) told us we had no reservation for storage. He was very rude and did not offer to help us at all. We then spent the next hour plus on the phone with U-Haul reserving another storage that was supposed to just be included with my one way rental. I added another storage unit (so that we had two) and then when I got off the phone they told me we only had the one that took me an hour to get from my original reservation that disappeared. Called back again (since Matt wouldn’t help) and they said there was in fact only one storage reservation and they didn’t have anymore available. Even though I reserved the two and they took my credit card and information for both units. What a hassle. It took so long that we had to extend the truck rental return a couple hours.

Corporate U-Haul’s policies have run the company into the ground. The only thing U-HAUL has going for it, are a few hardworking individuals on the front lines dealing with customers who despise your corporate policies. Get a clue and stop being money hoarding CEOs.

this truck rental and storage rental went smooth no issues , very helpful , it was the 2nd trip/truck rental and storage rental screw up that i wont refer anyone , you can not refer anyone when you are counting on the storage , made the reservation and after speaking to corporate 4 times , finsing my storage was deleted on there end ...cant count on trucks or storage when you reserve .

Very happy with the unit, but even with a reservation, was told there was no unit available. They kept looking and found the one I had reserved was not prepared for a new tenant, but thankfully rented it to me anyway since urgently needed. I was very unhappy with the online closure process. Only allowed one pic to be uploaded while requesting 3 and still sent me an email reminder of payment due after I had sent in the closure info....you could use some IT updates! My only reason for 4 star is that I was told twice from two different agents when I picked up the truck and returned it that the reservation I had for a storage unit was not available. When I objected they checked more carefully and saw it still needed to be cleaned but the cleaning was minimal and I insisted we would accept it as is. It was the very last unit and I desperately needed it. Thank you, Uhaul. I had a great experience in the long run.

My move from Colorado to California under rather stressful circumstances was rather difficult but when I came to check in my trailer so that I could get the truck unloaded, I was met by Shannon. She was so friendly and helpful . The facility did not have the 10x15 unit I reserved and at this time, there wasnt even a 10x10 , so a 20' truck packed to the brim couldnt be unloaded. Sol was helping me in the office and remembered someone had moved out without checking out. He contacted the people regarding the unit and success! He went above and beyond customer service. Everyone was very helpful, friendly and more than willing to help with my situation. I've used Uhaul before and will use it again. Thank you

in these days is a virus staff was helpful and friendly as possible. Check-in went relatively smoothly although there is a waiting line because the virus once again. The card lock that they have instead of punching in numbers is awesome. And the storage units look almost new I even had one with a freshly painted floor

good communication. UBoxes were great for a 2200 mile move. I used UBoxes so never saw the facility. Feedback form forced me to answer yes/no questions I couldn't answer, so I answered no.

My UBoxes were scheduled for delivery 11/11/18. Then was told they would arrive late (11/13). Regional office said there would be no charge. Instead, I was billed for another month as of 11/13/18.
