I was told by your UHaul rep, at this location, that we must provide a copy of our license via some form of phone or computer delivery to the store. I did not have that capability. I seem to recall that the web site I stated that the Uhaul office would do that here if I had no way to do it on my end. I was also told that I needed to take pictures of my rental before and after the rental of the equipment. How does one do this if I have no camera? Why make it as difficult as you can or your customers? K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Stupid) should be the motto. Not everybody has a cell phone or and Ipad to do this. Some of us old timers are into that new age stuff. Revise your system to make it easier not harder to rent from you.

I opted for remote pick up for the 15' truck I reserved. My time was set for 7:00 am. I followed all of the directions but, still had to call in because my reference-call people were standing by waiting to clear me and U-Haul wasn't calling them. Finally, after I physically called in, one of them was called to vouch for me...just one of the two. It was close to a 30 minute process to remotely check-in and get moving off the lot, which I didn't anticipate. The “check engine” light was on and the truck only had about a quarter of a tank of gas. Now, my first stop had to be the gas station, which I also didn't anticipate having to do, time-wise. About an hour later than anticipated, we finally were starting our very long day of moving. I drove 70 miles, total, that whole day, returning the truck with exactly the same amount of gas (if not a little more than) it had when I picked it up. I pulled in, to the return equipment area, and waited in the truck, as instructed by the signage outside. Nobody came out of the building, after about 15 minutes, so I went inside. The clerk was busy speaking to a FedEx worker. He acknowledged me though, to ask if I was returning the truck. I told him I was. He told me I could just leave the keys in the truck and go. Nobody ever physically checked the truck with me or anything like that. I was charged 2 separate fees; $98.07 and $97.15. This doesn't make sense, as my contract was for $29.95 for a 15' truck, $14 for Safe Move, $5 for Safe Trip, and $70 for .99/mile, totaling $118.95. I looked at my receipt and saw that I had been charged for furniture pad rental and utility dolly rental, both of which I didn't use, 2 fuel fees; $30 and $28, and $111.27 instead of $29.95 for the 15' truck. I reached out to the branch, explained all of this, and was given a $10 “refund receipt” in my email (but don't see it reflected in my account) for the furniture pad and dolly rental fees only. I was told in a voicemail that I returned the truck with less than a quarter of a tank, which absolutely wasn't true, and that's why I was charged the 2 fuel fees. The other fees weren't explained or addressed. I am hoping U-Haul will please truly refund more than $10 of the $76 over charges.

I will NEVER rent from uhaul again. I will also be informing my friends and every social media outlet I am on to never to business with your company. Not only did you customer service team hang up on me, they have also charged me for charges that I will be disputing with my credit card company. The “manager” of this station needs to not stick up for her stoner employees and do her job. Incompetence at its worst.

Truck has maintenance sing on could barley drive kept almost turning off while driving and was very stressful transporting furniture thinking im going to break down luckily the new apartment was a few streets away from my old one. When I explained to the employee she said it needs and oil change. Shouldn't be rentable if it not maintained.

Two locations in Fall River. The one above did not have the trailer. I had driven two hours to retrieve this trailer. Went to second location in the hope that it was at the second location. Received the trailer with no confusion. The first location (above) was not at all helpful and basically not interested in solving the problem. Very frustrating.

The self check out sucks. Why do we have to do all that long process of checking out at the spot to return a vehicle? Log in, take pics etc. That is not for social distancing due to coronavirus, thats laziness! I was struggling with all that shit while the kid was doing nothing and totally ignored me. That place sucks!

This rental was a very bad experience yesterday. The system fails and I had to wait over 2 hours to get my rental. The staff was very nice but the whole process was horrible. Uhaul needs to be more accessible for their clients, a 2 hour wait can't happen

The kid that was working when I returned the van never wore a mask when he was in contact with me, the other associates did ALL of them and it was like he was bored or I woke him up. He told me I had to check out on Google??? I was checking out like you supposed to on the fantastic U-Haul app, and it was very, very easy to navigate. Thanks U-Haul

It took too long to check out, the gentleman could not figure out how to charge my debit card. Then when I returned the truck that also was a struggle. I had a print out of my receipt and now I have an additional charge that I did not authorize. I've called several time waiting to speak with Brittany who's yet to return my call. I reserved a 20' truck and received a 15' truck. The entire process was not seamless. A supervisor should be present to assist, or at least give them training.

Place was in disarray. Huge signs tell you to wait with your drop off but nobody came. I went inside and the girl acted like I knew I was required to check on truck online. I didn't know it was required, I thought was an option. There were employees kinda all over but not doing anything in particular so it was confusing.

Provide updated pictures of the rental. The photos of the truck were old and I had to document damage to the truck during the initial check up via online check in. Otherwise, staff was friendly and helpful.

The man that worked at this location was rude. We did not pick a drop off location due to the reason we were not sure where we were dropping off the truck. We were told to call when we were done to state the drop off location. He told us we could not drop it back off at the same location because we had a one way truck which was not true and was extremely rude about it. I called back spoke to a woman she told me it was all set to be dropped off at this location. My boyfriend went to drop the truck off at the fall river location and the man was there and gave him a huge problem because he did not check that our contract was updated in the system and told us “don't be surprised if we charge you extra”. Once my boyfriend told me this, I called spoke to a woman telling her this information and she told me that it was correct for us to drop the truck off in this location and that he probably didn't check the computer. Overall, the truck was great, but the employees at this location are rude and need to find a new line of work!!

when dropping off truck one employee Brittany was extremely rude. Didn't want to be bothered with helping my sick mother checking in truck. Then I was charged 25.00 cleaning fee when my mother and her son completely swept out truck and vaccummed front area. all of a sudden and cleaning fee tacked on after a complaint was made about Brittany's attitude.Very unprofessional move as i see it.

When I walked into the location it took 5 minutes to find someone that worked there because no one was in the store. He informed me that I had to self checkout on the mobile app. I tried to do the mobile app but after having to upload 2 photos of the cleanliness of the vehicle - 3 seperate times the app didn't work. I went back inside and the attendant finally said he would take care of it. Why not just take care of it from the start instead of having to do a rediculous process on an app? movings hard...don't make technology make it more frustrating.

I had reserved a truck in a location close to me. Instead of it saying the truck was unavailable at the location, it gave me various options that I was later told were all not available. The first call to change my pickup location happened a few days after my reservation. I said ok and figured what can i do. But then, the day before my move, I get another call to change my pickup location Again. So I mentioned to the uhaul representative on the phone that I did not want to pay for the extra miles that They are creating for me in changing my location twice. I was told that I would recieve a credit. I received an email with this information also. Uhaul pickup went fine. Drop off later, the employee was extremely rude. I was also being charged for the extra miles and she said she didn't know how to do anything with the credit for them. There was one employee at this busy location with no manager and no knowledge of many operations. It was very busy and she kept calling in for help. Not blaming her, she needed management. Clearly this store is managed poorly .

Using the "smart phone:" check out was very inconvenient. For someone like myself who is not terribly tech-savy, the number of photos requested was extremely stressful. When I went inside to try to return the truck in person (at 11 am) I was told I had to use the smartphone. I ended up giving up in frustration and therefore you collected another $20 - well done. Please note the person returning prior to me felt the same way - total frustration. UHaul must be raking in the money at the expense of folks that don't normally rely on technology. You know, the "older generation" who are probably your largest number of customers. May want to rethink this process.

I rented the truck on Wednesday at 6:15. Was going to keep it til Friday - 48 hours. I returned the truck at 6:30 on Thursday. Only had it for 24 hours. The lady that checked me in said she would bill me for 24 hours. After looking at my bank account she lied to me. She billed me for 2 days - I am requesting a refund for the 24 hours

In-store service, when making the appointment was good. But I was blown away with the excellent service of the woman working the desk when I picked up the vehicle. I'm sorry I can't give you a name. She handled any confusion without issue. And upon return she was obviously extremely busy Impossibly overwhelmed. Yet her confident attitude and customer service was astonishing.

this location inaccurately logged a previous customers milage driving and if i had dropped off the vehicle myself without asking the question to drop it off early, the charge on my card would have totaled 1100 dollars in milage fee which would have been the worst during times in the current world status and it is unacceptable that this could have even happened with the possibility to any of your customers. the gentleman at the east providence have had issues from this fall river location and have needed to step in to fix this error for another customer while i was there the-same day. i would implement a manager to double check all work done at this location or re train this staff because gambling $1100 dollars is no joke.

Simplify your online process to receive and return vehicle rentals!! The process is too lengthy and involved for the customer. Make your employees more accessible and accountable for getting the process completed. Totally ridiculous that so much is placed on the customer. I'm going to consider going to another company next time.

My items were full of dust when I moved out. Did not realize until I was moving boxes out that the walls of the units do not go all the way to the top of the ceiling causing dust to get in each unit.
