Also, the cart by the closest door was missing a wheel which (combined with the lack of ramps to get inside) made it very difficult to get the cart from the car to the unit to unload our stuff.

As someone who did not have food in my unit I found multiple dead mice on the glue traps I had bought as the trap in the back of unit wasn't working. A lot of my items were ruined from the excess of mouse feces and urine. Anything cloth was ruined from the mouse urine. I will not recommend this location to anyone I like or dislike.

He called me to let me know that I hadn’t put the lock on my unit when I took my car out for a ride. He’s always there, super friendly and attentive. The bathrooms are absolutely spotless with plenty of hand towels and soap. The grounds are impeccably maintained. Your things will be safe and secure at Kevin’s place!

Paul S | Overall ExperienceThe man that set up my contract set 30 miles as my allotted max when I specifically said I'd be driving 50 - 75 miles. Later, this would sting me for an extra $62. And even though I showed a receipt for $30 in gas, I think this is why they charged extra. All told, I spent $175 + $30 + $62 = $267 to drive this truck only 87 miles. That's $3 per mile and NOT THE $0.99 I was originally quoted plus $40/day. What a RIP OFF!!!

Kevin BI reserved the trailer many weeks in advance. When I called to confirm days before I moved, I was told by “traffic” that I may have to travel as far as 2 states to pick up the trailer & I wouldn’t know that until 8pm the night before I was leaving. Thankfully Sadik from Howell NJ uhaul helped me. Sadik was not able to supply me with a trailer but guided me on finding one. Sadik got nothing out of helping me. Sadik was kind and helpful which is a 1000 times more than corporate uhaul was. Sadik deserves a 10 star review!! Uhaul is lucky to have Sadik represent them

Scott C | First ImpressionsI showed up at 9am for my pickup time and not only was the manager late to open the store, we were informed that the employee who closed the night before took the store keys with them. I was set back almost an hour in my moving process.
Sara MAdhere to your principles. After booking I got an email I will be contacted to confirm from local dealer I rented from. Never did. Looked at my reservation on App to see my reservation was moved to a different location without contact from U-Haul. This added my daily mileage usage to my rental. These added costs should be absorbed by U-Haul and not the customer when you cannot fulfill a rental and the customers local choice. (Place I booked was 1 mile from my house vs new location 10. So that added almost 20 additional miles to my daily need). You advertise 1 rate online and yet advertise a different rate at locations. Aka online booking rate: $19.95 daily rate plus $.99 per mile. At location: $99. And first 100 miles covered. So a rental and using 100 miles is a $20 price difference. Be transparent in your rates advertised. Nobody at u-haul explained this when I called into your center and asked for a price adjustment due to the added mileage I would incur due to being moved to a different pickup location. Nobody at u-haul had ability to adjust my rate due to u-haul moving my location that added mileage to my rental.
Michael TU Haul needs to update directions/ GPS. I clicked on the directions to the Florence nj location and wound up 30 miles north of where I was supposed to pick up and called them that the directions were wrong. Highly pissed of wasting gas and time. I should be compensated for this.
Thomas SKevin is so nice!!! Happy I rented from him. It’s nice and all the half late hours however if you don’t have a light in the storage bins your customers are going to be able to go in there at night and most people don’t get off work until five or 6 o’clock at night it’s OK now is the time it’s going to start changing and then we lose all that time. The only reason why I gave you an above average instead of excellent that’s because there are no lights in the storage bin

The system was down when I went to pick up the truck, and still down when I returned it, but Kevin was extremely professional and handled the system issues very well. The truck itself did everything I needed it to and ran well. The exterior could use a little a little cosmetic work, but it did not effect the use of the vehicle. Great location too.

Michael RMy reservation was pushed back by 90 minutes, luckily it was only 90 minutes, as last time it was pushed back, it was pushed back by several hours. It’s frustrating that a reservation is set for a specific time and then is changed by UHaul at the last minute. I understand that there are other customers using the vehicle before hand, but my time is just as valuable as theirs.
