This is in a convenient location and the staff is nice, however that truck I was leased should've never been leased in that condition. The transmission would not catch at any gear. It would slip and lag poorly on the expressway. Also, every bump at 40mph+ would shake the entire vehicle. I think it desperately needs an alignment and suspension work. Also, the battery died on us.Joseph R.

Before arriving I tried to contact this location MULTIPLE times because I couldn't figure out what side to bring the truck into since they have trucks on multiple lots and they wouldn't answer the phone. When I finally figured out the lot situation on my own, I went inside and no one was in the front. I said hello to no answer, checked around and seen an open door and repeated hello only for a man to step out and not Say a word to me. He took my rental key looked at an iPhone and walked away without saying a word to me AGAIN. Another employee asked if I needed help, I told him I thought the guy went to check on the truck. The other wordless man came in and said "that's her receipt" and I almost had a heart attack to find that he wasn't mute. I asked if the truck was good to yet again get silence. The other employee heard my frustrated "yeah? No? Maybe?!?" and told me the truck was good and I'm good to go. Honestly, don't come to work if you're going to treat people like trash. Is it really so hard to answer someone?!? The experience makes me want to never use uhaul again especially since I didn't want to use uhaul in the first place.CORRISSA R.

I was very unhappy at how dirty the truck was. I called days before to ask if they clean each truck after use. I was told yes, they they swap out the back and wipe down the front cabin. Lies! My hands were dirty by the time I drive home to start my move. I grabbed some Clorox wipes and each time I wiped the steering wheel the wipes would come away black or gray. It took 10 wipes to get the steering wheel even close to being cleaned. As for the rear bedâ€¦ omg! There was pieces of plastic, screwsâ€¦ and all this black, thick grease. I had to spend 45 min to sweep then wipe down with rags multiple times. I shouldn't have to pay +$72 for less than $10 miles round trip and clean the truck myself! Additionally, I was given a truck with less than 1/4 tank a gas and told if I return it with less than a 1/4 tank I'd pay a $30 surcharge. What the hell kinda business are they running there. Also, no one was wearing a mask!!!! I'll never rent another truck from that location and will be sure to spread the word. $72 so I can clean your truck and then give you extra gas on top of itâ€¦ :(KATRINA V.

Was as always, super easy to make the online reservation. Only complaint was not enough help at the check out counter when I returned van. Otherwise everything was great.DIANA O.
The staff was very helpful and pleasant. Although it didnt affect me I did learn that when securing some of the equipment it wasn't guaranteed, rather it was first come first serve. This could have been a real problem should there not have been any available. There were pretty good sized dents and scuffs on the truck to start but I had the insurance so I didnt have to document and verify what was there before and after. I am not sure what that experience would be so I cant comment. Over all I have used this location twice this summer and it was a good experience both times.JEFFREY C.

Truck ran poorly, 75k miles and felt every bit of it. Cabin smelled like Body Odor. Stains and grime seemingly left over from food eaten by employees or prior driver. The staff was great, the process was great but the truck smelled and was dirty when I received it.JOHN C.

We were in and out within ten minutes with trailer hooked up and ready to get on the road (we had U-Haul install the hitch several days before so we could just go in and get the trailer hooked up quickly, which is exactly what happened). I had issues with my mobile pickup. I got the wrong code and had to call customer service line since the location was already closed. They were not answering but luckily the chat agent was able to get me the code. When I returned the truck, I was having issues with the mobile return application. It wouldn't take the picture of the odometer no matter how many times I tried. I called customer service line and someone answered the phone but couldn't help so I got transferred to the right extension. I waited for almost 30min and no one ever answered. This put me in an unfortunate situation at this location. 3 cars came into the parking and basically blocked my car. Those individuals were clearly making some kind of drug dealing and exchanging stuff from car to car. I was very scared to be in such a situation. While I understand that is out of U-Haul control, I would suggest that you check your surveillance cameras and report those individuals. If customer service line would have answered the phone promptly I would not have been there in such a unfortunate situation. Since, no one ever answered the phone and after such a scared I left immediately and simply dropped the keys at the drop box. Needless to say. I don't think I would use this location because of what happened.Karin M.

The Forest Park, IL site is excellent. Unfortunately, I arrived after 9 pm so I tried to use the UHaul App to check out. The App sucks so I wound up just parking the truck, locking it and dropping the keys in the overnight slot.
