Water leaking into storage unit caused water pooling in the middle of the unit. Our expensive king mattress and queen box spring were both totaled. Moldy, mildewed and still wet when we removed them. I explained to an employee what had happened, who asked if we had insurance, then said that the manager told me to call 1-800-go-uhaul. Melissa was there . No customer skills at all!! I had to introduce myself as she stood there and staired. Did not offer to help or instruct. She needs a job in back with no customer contact. I had to drag out answers. I ask her for a receipt then finally after a little she said she scanned the trailer and it was fine. The I pulled out and all bays to get out was occupied the other lady working was standing in the small path way and just looking at me. These ladies are clueless. I picked up the UBOX in Eugene, Oregon. After dropping it off in Fort Pierce.Eric S.
I contacted this location and spoke to Kevin and he said they cannot resolve the issue and to call the 1800 number. Was left on hold endlessly when calling the provided u haul toll free number. The u haul broke down I am being charged for a rear bumper that was already damaged when picked up. Ontop of this the interior smelled horrible like throw up when it was picked up. The rental truck I used was absolutely horrible on gas. I moved from Jacksonville to Port St Lucie Florida. I was absolutely shocked at how poor the gas mileage was. When I picked the truck up it had about 1/4 tank of gas, and I took a pic of the dashboard and sent it in with my registration. Before returning the truck I put in an additional $40 worth of gas. I returned the truck on time and checked in with the woman who was outside. Once complete I was told we were "all set". However today I noticed an email from Ryder stating they added an additional 3 gallons of gas at $4.50 per gallon for a total of $13.50, which I assume they are trying to charge me for. The invoice showed the gas level just one click under 1/2 tank. If the pic I sent of the dash is compared to the ending gas level it should be clear that I left the truck with more gasoline in it than when I rented it. will be very displeased if I am charged for this gasoline that I didn't use.John M.

The mobile check-out process was a bit clunky and took longer than expected. The process was not well described in advance so I wasn't well prepared and it took longer than expected. If there was an overview of the steps and the process in advance, things would have gone quicker. I had to get help to open the door every time. I told the guy who came out to help me in January that I was done with not being able to get into my unit. I was moving out please do what he had too. It was impossible to call directly to the dealer in Yuma. I finally had to call the main number to get my answers. Also, it was not made clear to me that the Boxes were separate from the trailer. I had reserved two Boxes, picked up one, returned for the 2nd and was then informed I had to return the first box before I got the 2nd. This messed up my planning, but it turned out OK as we were able to get everything in to one Box.WALTER B.

The truck battery died at 11pm at night and the light switch when pushed fell into the dash. As a result, I had to stick my hand and use tools to place it back and fix it. Finally, I was able to jump the battery with my vehicle, and I left the truck run. I cut my hands. It was a horrible experience, and I awoke all the neighbors. Best Regards, MattMATTHEW H.

It at this time when I rented the trailer everything was great they at first forgot to ring up the trailer ball I bought then after getting that straightened out I took it out side because the girl said they would install the ball for me I had to no argue with the guy but he didn't believe me that she said they would put it on for me. After that it took for ever to get the trailer out maybe 1hr or so before all of the trucks in front of me would move or could move not my fault it's there's for have a bad system, then o bring it back and was told I have to pay another day and have to argue with the kid unhooking the trailer because he said I have to pay another day but charged me $76 and I only paid 26 for the first day no not happy he tell me no manager in right now so I will have to take it up later so here I am how can we fix this it is ridiculous for being over charged and would really like to be refunded my money, thank you unhappy customer wadeWADE S.
