The people were friendly and the truck was fine. However, I booked this 3 weeks in advance, less than 24 hours before pick-up I was messaged that a 20 foot was not available at noon when I requested @ the 280 Mt.Brook location I requested. I agreed to take a 26 foot since that was the only truck available at noon. I woke up the next day (Sept 28th) to a text from UHaul that my truck would not be at the 280 location that I had to go to the Fultondale location 40 minutes away. I called both locations and the 1-800 number to complain but got hung up on several times. It was a MAJOR INCONVENIENCE TO HAVE TO DRIVE 40 MINUTES THERE AND BACK THE MORNING WE WERE MOVING TO TAMPA. Very unprofessional when just the day before it was ALL confirmed!! The Fultondale location was very friendly, however, the computer was very slow and took 45 minutes to check-out. When I got the keys to the truck, it was lodged between a telephone pole and a huge ditch, I had to walk back and get someone to pull it out which took over 15 minutes. In all, I had to drive 40 minutes there and back and it took over an hour at the location. This was almost 2 1/2 hours consumed on the morning I was trying to pack and move 500 miles away. Again, very frustrating & unprofessional.

Update computer system! The employee was awesome but it took 2 hours to check in because of technical difficulties! This has happened the past 3 times I've rented a truck from this location!

Did not make vehicle dirty we cary everything in containers and we do this 7 to 10 times a year with this company. The van was covered in bugs when I picked it up. But did not pose a problem, until I was charged 25.00 for cleaning... What the world?

The lady at the Fultondale, AL location was very helpful and it was very easy signing up to rent a space for our camper. We chose this location because we could not find a flat concrete pad.

When I arrived, I was greeted by Corinthea. She was amazing. She was able to help be with an issue I had earlier that day as well as provided me with additional assistance with my original reservation. I highly recommend this location.

When I arrived at this location, the lady at the desk was apparently on a personal call. She did ask if I needed assistance. I gave her my name and explained that I had a reservation. She continued with both tasks, gave me a card, and told me to follow the instructions. She sent a link to my cell phone. I was supposed to upload pictures of my driver license to the site link. This may have been simple for "tech savvy" customers. The agent was still on the phone while I unsuccessfully tried to follow upload instructions. I needed to get my moving chores started, and asked if I had to use this link. She apparently misunderstood and told me if I didn't upload my license I couldn't rent the van. When I tried to tell her I was having no success, she repeated that I couldn't rent the van if I didn't upload my license. She was becoming louder and exasperated, and I was becoming impatient and angry. I finally made her understand that I had TRIED to upload the photos of my license that I had taken. She finally took my phone and after a few minutes succeeded. We were both upset. I felt that my time had been wasted. I would have preferred to be asked if I could wait a moment before we began this confusing process. Alternatively, if the call was personal and not emergent, she could have explained to that party that she had a customer and would need to call back. This experience left me with the firm notion that I would never rent from U-Haul again. This was NOT my first time to rent from U-Haul, and my previous experiences were positive. Customer service rating is "ZERO".

The general manager at this location assisted me today and seemed like a regular employee, Mercedes wasn’t friendly at all and dressed way too relaxed to be in a working and retail environment. Her attitude wasn’t please t either she honestly seemed as if she didn’t want to be bothered. The regular employees are normally nice at this location, for that reason I choose to handle my rental ventures there but I will not be going back.

I really had a great experience with the u-haul truck rental in fultondale 2day.Customer service was A-1 as well as the truck I rented..and last but not least ..... the price of the rental was very affordable!!!

The staff and location were great and get high marks. However, condition of the pick up truck was below standards I've experienced with Uhaul--- ran as if it had a bad fuel injector; low oil pressure warning came on...checked oil level and dip stick showed no oil...I put oil in truck and Uhaul would not reimburse.

I requested a 15 feet >> got a 20 feet I requested 12 pack pads >> got only 6 and got penalized for not returning 12, and charged me extra $60. I received a phone call from a uhaul office requesting my credit card information claiming that I didnt pay for one of the servi9and when I asked her to wait till I get to my destination, she got very angry tu and said either I pay now on the phone or she would report it stolen and hang up. When the drop off location tried to help to settle all these issues, the person in the pickup location continued to be very rude and hung up in his face. The equipments are excellent though , and that is what the one star for. NEVER AGAIN .

3 trailers stolen between midnight and 5 am , one was mine. several changes are needed .1 enter from 7am to max 9 pm . 2 better cameras to show details of persons entering /exiting / tags, reset codes

The parking lot is always full of screws, I picked up 10+ just in front of my unit a couple of days ago and took them into the office. Tires aren’t cheap.
